Had 2 simple master lock keys duplicated, for a total of 4 keys, 2 per lock. After returning home 20 miles later, I tried the keys and only 2 worked to 1 lock. The other 2 keys are cut correctly according to key cut code pattern, however, the keys are not the correct blanks. I used to do locksmithing years ago. Not worth the gas tip go back, seeing I paid $45 after tax for 4 keys... they originally told me $8 per key, after I realized it was wrong keys I realized I was also overcharged. TRASH...

Without question the best Locksmith I have ever used. We were in a bind on my daughter's Van. It was a rather complicated situation and other locksmiths I had called would have either taken too long and cost way too much or didn’t even know how to solve the issue as it was an older vehicle. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a locksmith shop!!! The staff at Flying Fortress where very rude, and arrogant. I was nearly chased out of the store just because I wanted to look at the show room. I guess this is why Hights lock & key does a lot more Business then these guys do. Hights lock & key actually has Respectful and helpful staff. I use a lot of lock shop services with my Company and my facilities. I would highly recommend any other locksmith in Albuquerque, such as Hights lock & Key, Sandia Safe & Lock, and Key Pros on San Mateo. All of these places have treated me with respect and genuinely wanted to provide good customer service.

Not a 24 hour company. I called About 8:40am on a Sunday, no answer, left them a voicemail, and I didn't get call back in about 30 minutes. So I called another company and they helped me get my vehicle unlocked. They got to my house in 27 minutes. Great company (Pop A Lock)

I called this place to get a quote. The first time I called they told me $55 plus tax. The second time they told me $89. It should like someone was trying to rip me off. I went with a different company (pop-a-lock) it was actually $55, very fast and friendly.

My business deals with a lot of cash transactions. I called Carlos to see if he had a solution to ease my mind about having large amounts of cash in the building. He recommended a drop safe. Carlos came and personally installed the safe and I am now able to have one less thing to worry about. As a business owner I highly recommend investing into your business with Flying Fortress. Charged me $26.00 for a regular (no chip) key. Said Hyundai blanks were very expensive. I paid for it, and left. Stopped down the street at Chase hardware, they made me one for $1.75, works great. Called the manager and let him know, he didn't care.... WOW...

Horrible Quality and NO returns!! Brought in a lock to get re-keyed. They said it would be cheaper to buy a new lock and they can re-key it to match for cheaper, so we did. Went right back home to put the new lock on and the first screw broke off in the door! Good thing I had a tool to remove broken screws and got it out. Put in another screw in a different hole and it broke off again! Cheap quality products they sell! Took it right back and asked for a refund. They said no refunds and wouldn’t try to help to remedy the situation their poor quality products caused.

I called the store and asked for a locksmith to come to the house to find out if they could disable any of my locks and to rekey them. Another company could not even get me into my house. Anthony arrived quickly and was able to open my door in five minutes. I asked a lot of questions about breaking in and burglars and he explained everything including what he would do if my locks could not be disabled. All answers were correct. The cost was reasonable and less than the company who could not open my doors.

I hired Flying Fortress Locksmith to cut and program a key to my Nissan Titan. They came out to my home and after two hours the technician told me his boss was coming out to help because he was not able to program the key. The owner of the business, Carlos Radosevich, came out and could not program the key either. He blamed the problem on my truck and the fact that I had replaced the Intelligence Power Distribution Module over a year ago. The IPDM was replaced with Nissan OEM parts at a Nissan dealership. Mr. Radosevich tried to charge me $250 for keys that would not start my truck. He told me that I had to have them programmed at the dealership because my IPDM was locked. I was reluctant to pay the whole $250 since the keys did not work and he accepted $150. Mr. Radosevhich assured me that the keys were good, gave me an invoice with some codes written on it and assured me that the dealership would only have to charge me for programming to get them to work. I had my truck towed to the dealership where they tried to program the keys that Flying Fortress sold to me only to learn that the keys either did not have a chip at all or had the wrong type of chip and could not be programmed. I contacted Mr. Radosevich to tell him what the dealership had said and ask for a refund. He became defensive and told me he did not want me in his shop.

These guys are fully licensed, and were also available to inspect my current locks to determine if a replacement can improve security, working with all types of locks, ranging from deadbolts to keypad locks and more. Called in the evening, and received a $149. estimate just for coming to my house after hours. Agreed to wait till the next day for the $55. call fee and made an appointment, which Anthony kept precisely. Anthony was nice and professional, worked quickly, clearly knew what he was doing. However, when he was done I was presented with a bill for $369.00. Checking online for the lock--matching brand and type--the cost was just about $100. Almost 3 times, is quite a mark-up. When I called to ask about it, the guy on the phone (not Anthony) was rude. Will not use them again, and will certainly not recommend them. Too bad--they could have just spoken to me about it, rather than talking to me like I was a pain in their neck.

My son called to re-key the locks at our store and the work man said it would be around $500 then after work was done presented a bill for $1,156. which was paid. Latter when I found out I called the company and complained that there where things changed and sold that we do not need. The manager said the owner would call back which never happened and repeated calls where never returned. Totally unethical company which I will never do business with again, just wanted a repayment on some of the over charge. Flying Fortress is one of the worst we have ever dealt with. My friend locked herself out of her car in Los Lunas, NM, so she searched for a locksmith in Los Lunas, and this number came up, even though they're in another city. They quoted $170 and she gave them a credit card number, then called me. I called a locksmith in Los Lunas, and they quoted $39, sThey had given her the number of the locksmith, so she called him to cancel, and he became verbally abusive and said he wasn't going to cancel and made her cry. I called him myself, and he was very rude, and said he had just left the shop and wouldn't cancel. I called the shop and told them to cancel, and the worker said it was too late, and once they had a credit card number they could not reverse the charge, even though the locksmith was still in Albuquerque. The locksmith in Los Lunas unlocked the car for the $39, and Flying Fortress refused to cancel the charge.

Went there once before to have a car key duplicated and the key worked fine but the cost seemed expensive. Did not compare pricing with other locksmiths. Bought a factory Honda motorcycle key from a dealer and brought it here for duplication because they are the nearest locksmith to my house. They charged $10.70 to duplicate the key which took them under one minute to do. Paid it and called another locksmith the Honda dealer suggested that has been around forever but they are a drive across town because the fee seemed excessive. They quoted $4.20. For the $640 per hour I just paid Flying Fortress to cut a key I maybe could have had Beyonce cut the key AND sing me a song. Attorneys, neurosurgeons and orthodontists reading this are probably wondering why they wasted all that time and money on school when they could've gotten a key grinder and retired in a year.

My first visit to this store. Walked in with two entry locks (still in original packaging) and needed them keyed the same. Was on my way to work and was hoping for fast service. That is exactly what I got. Stopped in the next morning (also in a hurry) and was greeted immediately and I was told that my door locks were ready. I inserted the wrong key into lock, and it was stuck. He was able to get job done, I was an idiot and didn't ask price for the 3 minutes that he took to unlock the car before he unlocked it. Charged me nearly 200 dollars, telling me it was "still cheaper then if you had to replace all the locks on the car". He was professional and did get the job done. The other places I called and got quotes from told me $60/per hour, 1 hour minimum but could not do it within the same hour. He was able to fix the issue, but pretty cruddy way of treating someone who recently joined the military and makes ~600 every 2 weeks. At the end, he offered to make me a copy of my key for 60 dollars. When I declined he bumped the cost for a copy down to 30 dollars. Very unsatisfied and wish I had more life experience before contacting this company!

Don't bother with this place. The only good reviews are most likely from the employees. I locked myself out of my truck and they wanted $188 plus tax to get me in to start. I've never paid more than $60 to get into a semi. And that was with that person making me a key for free. When I told him I would find someone cheaper he laughed and said good luck. I found another one who said they would only charge me $50.

After the work was done we were presented with a bill for $450. It would be good to give an upfront estimate and a detail of what work is being performed.

Do not use Flying Fortress, I had a simple key to make a copy of for a camper. They charged $30.00 to make one key and then wanted $7.00 each for more copies. Price gouging to the max! I have a fleet of cars with my company, I gave them a lot of business until today when they pulled thus stunt.
