Really creepy. Really deceitful. It started out well. The saleslady helped me find the custom hardware that I needed for an old door. She offered to have the install tech come to my house to verify that it was the right hardware because it was high priced hardware. The tech knew his stuff, and found the right lockset to fit. I almost fainted when he wrote up the price. Insanely expensive. About four times the price of the best hardware at Home Depot. The tech said he'd waive the $250 install fee (still insanely expensive). I wanted to support a local business, so I paid the invoice that he wrote up. When the tech showed up with the hardware (a week late), he did a good job installing it. Then, he gives me another invoice for $250 plus tax for a total of $271!!! I reminded him that he waived the install fee. He tells me he waived the $250 fee for SHOWING UP to LOOK at the door! I couldn't believe what he was saying. I paid the money just to get him to leave. Here's the creepy part: The guy wouldn't leave. He just stood there staring at me after I paid. I told him five times in very clear terms that he needed to leave my house immediately. He just stood there staring at me like a serial killer. I'm 6'4" and 200 lbs. Its really unnerving to have someone half your size just stand in your living room staring at you after they've extorted $271 from you. I had to throw his folder out the door and threaten to call the police to get him to leave. And this is a guy who has a key to my house!!! I strongly caution anyone in the neighborhood from doing business with Bob Fraser Locksmiths. Don't let them into your home. In response to your slander about me assaulting your technician: Spend more time providing accurate and truthful proposals and you won't need to spend so much time cleaning up your online reputation.

I sow few negative reviews about this store and I was skeptical before I met to the new owner, His name is Josef. Looks like People wear not so happy to the old owner, but Josef Programmed My Car keys for Toyota Prius 2011. He is Professional and hard working person that I could tell, I am very satisfied of his service. will Spread my word to the people that I know of to not to look other Locksmith, He doesn't only Serve Household doors or Business locks , He does Car unlock or Car key programming. He saved me lots of money if I would go to the Dealer and purchase the new key from them.Thank you very much and Will do the business with you again. AJ

Very very very rude receptionist lady or what ever she does there ! Do not get anything done unless u have it in writing that what they will charge u for there services ! They will go back in there word .. read the reviews majority of there reviews are negative there is reason for it ! Now I know why as well .

I had a door knob that needed to be fixed as it had fallen off the door. When I called to schedule the appointment, I asked what the minimum would be to have it fixed and was told there was a $34 service charge. When the locksmith showed up, he was able to fix it in under 5 minutes and didn't even have to use new parts. When he came back with the bill, it was $110!!!!! I asked him why this was as I was told on the phone it was $34. He said that was the service charge, and he was charging me $69. He told me the minimum they can charge is $34 + $46 (half hour labor) or $80. Then why not say that on the phone. I told him that they should tell you that on the phone and he told me he is a sub-contractor and doesn't represent them. I explained that to me, he does represent them as the customer, but he disagreed. After I paid and he left, I decided to drive over to the establishment to talk to them face to face. As I was there explaining that is deceitful to not let the customer know that it will be a min of $80 and letting them know that the locksmith told me he didn't work for them or represent them, guess who walks out? The locksmith who doesn't represent them or work for them. What a sham!!! They charged me the $80 min instead of the $110, but even after I told them to just be honest and tell the customer it is a minimum of $80 if the problem gets fixed, they didn't seem to care. I will not be using them again and neither should you!

Beware! This business is under new ownership and the new owner is deceitful. . I needed a new mortise lock and matching deadbolt. It took two visits for the job to be completed. The first time the tech showed up with the right mortise lock and a deadbolt which was not the one I had picked out to cover the oversized hole in my door. I told the owner over the phone that I would pay for the mortise lock but that I wanted him to order the right deadbolt. After trying to convince me that he couldn't get the one I wanted in the right color (satin nickel, which the vendor had both in the catalog and online) he finally seemed to agree. However, when the tech returned he brought back the same, wrong deadbolt and a cheap-looking plate to cover the hole which did not even match the deadbolt. The only reason the job was completed on the second visit was that I had gone out in the interim and bought a deadbolt that would work. The labor charge was more than they quoted over the phone, plus they tacked on a $35 service call fee which they had never mentioned. Will never use them again.

Our car needed a replacement key this morning after someone (rumors point to my wife) lost it in the snow. I called Bob Fraser and was told that their main guy was on previously scheduled jobs. But the woman who works in the store drove to where my car was stranded within an hour of my call and programmed the replacement key while I waited. Wow! Bob Fraser to the rescue!

I was in the shop when she laser cut your key and you started arguing with her about how it looked, for you to say that she was yelling at customer's is a bold face lie! if you are going to lie make sure that her real customer's are not there listening she never even yelled at you when you clearly where looking for a problem I mean who complains about a working key! either you have an agenda or just mentally ill because what you said is a bold face lie. I was there!
