There is no way I can thank Mr Travis & his employee enough for getting me out of a very bad situation last Friday. It was almost 5pm, at a gas station in Hernando, when I simultaneously locked my purse (with cellphone) in the car, & my keys in the trunk. Yeah I know, not smart, but it happened while filling the car, plus the mower gas cans.
The closest mobile locksmiths were in Horn Lake or Southaven, but no one would answer their phones. And, I have no one to come to help me. Finally, with the help of a nice lady and her phone, I was able to get an answer at A to Z. Mr Travis immediately reassured me they would be on their way in 5 minutes. And sure enough, even with 5 o’clock Friday traffic, they were in Hernando in 30 minutes. Unfortunately, my car was not an easy one to deal with. Once entry is made without a key, it triggers the car alarm, which automatically disengages the trunk release buttons. And, with no key lock, on the trunk, nor a spare car key, the only hope left is removing the rear seat. After extensive searching, no release latches could be found, nor was there anything listed in the car manual. Since I have a Buick LaCross, I called & spoke with the nearest Buick dealership service manager. He said my only way to get into the trunk was to have a spare key made, after my car was towed there. Plus, his key man was gone for the day. Finally, running out of options, Mr Travis said there was no way they would leave me there, with no one to help me. He offered to take me home, & get the house open for me. Then, I would call Triple A to have my car towed home. In the meantime, Mr Travis was trying to contact a friend of his to come to my house to make a spare car key. But, they still refused to give up. They were practically injuring their hands, forcing them between the side of the seat and the car frame trying to feel around for anything in behind, & that’s how they found a latch which released the seat bottom. From there, with power tools, they were able to remove a metal plate, and get to my keys. And, after all of this, plus putting the backseat back together, his fee was extremely reasonable!! Those two men are angels, as far as I am concerned! They are good decent people who truly care about their customers, & will do everything possible to help you. I will have a spare car key made as soon as Mr Travis gets his new equipment in, in about 2 or 3 weeks. I cannot thank you two enough for all you did.
With respect & sincere gratitude,
C LeBrun
