A - Z Lock & Key, Rochester Hills, MI – This company is awful. Don’t let the flashy web site and 30 years in business, “claim”, fool you. They are ill-equipped, unprepared, and unable to perform a very simple lock out of a storm door tumbler. After waiting 90 minutes, the excuses were, “my batteries are dead in my drill”, (I told him I could borrow a drill from my neighbor), then it was, “well my drill bits aren’t sharp”, then it was, “well it may not be the tumbler, and I can’t fix it”. His solution was an offer to get a crow-bar, and pry open the door and door jam. I declined. I went to dinner, had a beer, and waited for the power outage to come back on and was able to use my garage door opener to finally get in the house. This may be the reason the owner doesn’t list his name on his website with no direct contact information. So, you’ve been warned. Use A - Z Lock & Key at your own risk.

Called to get a quote. Guy was extremely rude. He seemed to be in a rush and after barking questions at me and quoting me he asked if it was something I would like to set up. I told him I was going to call around to a few other places and he hung up on me! Going somewhere else, you're more than double the price of other places and can't even be bothered to be nice to people? Hard pass.

Locked my keys and phone in truck. So i went and used facebook on my PC to have a friend call for me. The guy stated he didn't trust the call and to call somebody else. Great business guys, great customer service.

BROKE MY REAR-SIDE WINDOW AND SPLIT! I called this company to unlock my 06 Honda civic and a younger man (not in the picture posted) came out. This was around 7pm in January, so it was dark and cold out. I never called a locksmith before so when he arrived at my house, I let him work in peace on the car and I went inside and waited patiently. He worked on the car for a good 15-20 minutes. The next thing I new he came to my door and said something along the lines of, "these foreign cars are real difficult to work on. I'm done working on it and I am not charging you for anything." He seemed real skittish and then left in a rush. Now I had to be somewhere that night, so I ran inside and tried to figure out how to open a Honda civic door (on youtube). After some instruction, I came back outside, with tools in hand, only to realize that my back window was shattered! He was working through the driver's side front window, and the crowbar (or whatever blade he was using) pressure on my rear triangle window caused the whole glass plate to shatter. I could see the pressure marks on the glass where we was wrenching the bar. Luckily my window glass didn't shatter to the floor because my window tint held it all in place. I never called the company back to let them know what happened. The guy clearly knew what he did based on his behavior. And frankly I didn't think it would be that much money to fix the window. Turns out its costing me $245 to replace. Yikes. Just a warning, be careful with this company! P.S. I was able to unlock my car, tx Youtube.

Asked for a quote to program a keyless entry remote for my car. Not only was the quote higher than the authorized vehicle dealership but I asked him to hold on for literally 10 seconds so I could go to a quiter place and after the call was over he goes "Jesus Christ" right before hanging up. What's with the attitude? Other reviews are correct, the people are in fact rude as hell.
