So impressed with this company! I was in a tough spot having locked myself out of my house on a Sunday night, and Nick showed up very promptly, was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and his pricing was very competitive. The lock ended up being very difficult because it had been installed incorrectly (by previous owners, not Nick's fault), and Nick tried everything he could and spent a really long time picking it before we decided it needed to just be removed. I told him I was going to replace the lock myself the next day, and he said if I ran into any trouble I could call him and he would talk me through the installation to save me the fee. How nice of him! I hope I never lock myself out again but now I know who to call if I do. Highly recommend!

I called these guys to come help us secure a few apartments in Boston and they did an awesome job. The first time I called I got a nice lady who took down our info and told us a locksmith would call us back soon. The locksmith called back like 5 minutes later and was very nice and patient with our questions. He even mentioned a few different alternate locks with functions we had no idea existed like using them with your phone app and other cool features. We scheduled them to come out and he showed up a little late but was held up at another emergency job which I totally understand. The locksmith that we got at our first site was quick and professional, he finished sooner than we expected. The second apartment we had rekeyed was done by the owner Nick and he was the man, quick and explained everything in detail. He even tested and had us test the locks to make sure we were comfortable. If you ever need a locksmith in Boston, don't hesitate to call these guys.

Today I lost my key while snowblowing. I was going to have to have my car towed to the dealership to have a new key made and programmed to the car. I called Alpha Locksmith in Boston and in a few short hours Brandon Rose showed up with his van. He made me new key and programmed them in my driveway for about the same price as the dealer. The best thing is I could finish my snow removal and I didn’t have to wait for a tow, go to the dealership and wait there if they even could get my car in today. I bought a new condo and needed to get the locks changed. I sent them an email and Nick responded very quickly to set up an appointment. I asked if he could send someone that night and he set it up. When the technician arrived, he explained what he was going to do, gave me a clear quote for how much it would cost, and told me how long it would take. We couldn't find the key for one of the locks, so he had to replace that lock entirely, but he had all the equipment and was able to get it done quickly. It took less than half an hour to rekey 4 locks and replace a fifth. There was a minor miscommunication with the technician as he was leaving, but I called Alpha back to ask about it, and after about 10 minutes, Nick called me back and explained everything, and put me completely at ease. A+ service. Would use Alpha again, and would recommend them to a friend.

Super frustrating, but thankfully they were able to help. I understand why people charge what they charge but for me it was steep....though they are one of the few companies that charge less than others on cape. This time we needed a locksmith at our new condo in Dorchester after closing to secure it, you never know who has old keys . We got all our locks changed out and even had an electronic lock put on front door that we could operate with our phones. Ill also point out that the van this guy showed up in was like a mobile locksmith showroom, it was impressive. The locksmith was different from last time but still a friendly and professional guy, took extra time to go over our new locks too. They cleaned up after themselves and double checked their work, professionals in every sense of the word. They made time for us at off hours and on short notice.
