I just bought a home and I wanted to change the locks out. I called Safeway Lock And Key the morning of my settlement and Byron came out that afternoon. He was wonderful. He fixed my door because the hinge was loose and he changed my locks around even though he didn't have to because whoever installed the previous one put it in upside down. He was honest and a pleasure to deal with. I'll definitely be calling him again.

I was referred to this company by my brother who has used them twice and had great experiences both times. Mine wasn’t any different! Byron helped me out today after leaving my keys in my trunk. (I tried to get it open myself for an hour as I had to be in dc by noon). He arrived sooner than his eta and was upbeat. He had my car open in less than two minutes and the price was fair. I went from worried disaster to happy and thankful. I’m one of those who locks herself out all the time (which means I’ve used a lot of locksmiths in the past), now I’ve got them on speed dial. I purchased a house that had previously been a rental property back in the spring and never had the locks changed (bad move!). Tonight I came home from work and there had definitely been someone in my house while I was gone. As a single mom with a young son I needed the locks changed ASAP! I called Safeway Lock and Key this evening and the locksmith Byron was at my house within an hour. Byron was personable and professional and got the job done quickly (all while entertaining my 4 year old!). The price was definitely reasonable, especially for same day service after 5pm. I would definitely recommend this company and Byron to anyone! Thank you!!

The staff were nice and seemed helpful. However, I had them cut a sti key for my 2003 Subaru WRX. The key they cut wouldn't turn the ignition or my doors. On-top of that, when the guy was trying to help me out and he was attempting to turn the key in the ignition. He attempted to get it to fit by slapping it into the ignition. I didn't take note of it at the time but after he told me this key wouldn't work I tried to leave. The issue was that the ignition would not accept my normal key after that, I had to jiggle my original key for a few minutes just to get it to turn. I didn't have time to go back and complain since I had to get back to school and I thought it was a temporary issue. It's now 7 hours later and my ignition is still not accepting my original key. My ignition had no problems before I visited here. I also took my keys to another locksmith and they said it was cut wrong. So now I have expensive key that is now a paperweight and a expensive ignition repair in order to have my car run properly. I've compared the keys, and you can see that the ridges don't line up properly and the keys still had burr marks. I wasn't charged for the service because they could not get the key to work but I wasn't expecting to have to replace an ignition after this visit.

I was EXTREMELY pleased with the service itself, it was FAST, affordable and very friendly. However...my ignition wasn't turned all of the way off after my key replacement was done and I came out to a dead battery 7 hours later. UPDATE : The owner replied saying this wasn't possible because the key has to be in the ignition; however I have a keyless ignition. The gentleman who came to my home had to see the activated dashboard to set the new remote, hence it not being turned all the way off. It has three positions and it was left in the first which leaves dash lit, radio on, etc. I didn't even open a door after he was done so I didn't leave a door open as he also suggested in his reply. He showed me the new key locked and unlocked from the passenger side on the sidewalk and I went inside until 7 hours later. Lower score now just for blaming their oversight on the customer.

Could not have asked for a better experience! I called while I was at work to see if they made keys for my 2017 Ford f350. Was informed they do and for drastically less than going to the dealer. Spoke to Byron on the phone I have never spoke to someone so caring and professional before that worked for another company. He told me they did not have one in stock at the moment and that they would pull one for me from a job that was scheduled for later in the week. He kept in touch from beginning to end and informed me of when they would be out to me. They were not able to make it to me while I was at work and I figured we were going to have to reschedule and I was fine with that since I was not in a rush and was just getting a second key. That was not the case he informed me he would come to my house even though I live 40 min north of my work location in PA. I didnt get home until about 8 PM and Byron still went out of his way to come all the way here and get my key done for me. When he arrived he was extremely respectful and very personable as well as easy to talk to. He knew exactally what he was doing from start to finish and guided me through every step as he was doing it. Byron is the reason from start to finish I am now and will continue to be a customer with this company. I will be sending referrals for sure your way and idk if the owner sees this or not but in my personal opinion Byron needs to be paid top dollar for his work since I own a business and employees like him are extremely hard to find. Thank you for all that you guys did for me and Byron thank you for all of your hard work and commitment to making sure I was taken care of!!!!! 10 Stars if it was possible!!!!

My employer needed keys duplicated for our Isuzu NPR box trucks. We called around and no one else could help us. I brought our I keys to their shop and they made the duplicates quickly and professionally. I got back to our warehouse and found that the keys did not work well. When I called them they sent a truck to us and remade the keys at no cost. They stand by their products and services. If we need additional keys made, there is only one place that we will trust with our business.

Not only did they changed the locks for the house, but they also gave us some tips for securing the house more. My closest spare key for my car was 2 hours away. They made me a new key and reprogrammed my spare keys at no additional cost for the car. It made a stressful situation less stressful!
