You’ll receive great service and save a lot, however the hours there are “few and far between.” BUT, more importantly, this business offers “home visits” and emergency service for lock outs. I have had a technician come to replace locks at my house, and a neighbor/friend was locked out, and someone came to rescue him and get him back into his home quickly. Service is very important and the keys ALWAYS work. They’re never cut off or wrong.

They do motorcycles! Bill and Diana are literally "life savers" They were able to make me a new key with a spare after I lost my only key to my motorcycle. They were incredibly friendly and down to earth. They were able to come same day as I called as well! They are the best in motorcycles and have been doing this for years! I wholeheartedly recommend Laurel's Lock Shop for all your locksmith needs. Our mailbox lock became inoperable and needed to be replaced. They came out within an hour of calling the shop, removed the old lock and replaced it with a new one in no time. They were super friendly and gave suggestions and helpful knowledge for maintaining the new lock. Knowledgeable and friendly locksmiths, 5/5 stars!

Call Laurel's Lock Shop if you are in trouble with your keys. I went to a local dealership and they told me they don't cut the key anymore but they provided me the key code for my Chrysler 96 for free, then I called Laurel's Lock Shop for an appointment to cut my key and they were glad to cut my key in about 10 minutes, I received a discount because I had the key code, even more I received a second key at no extra charge. My new keys are working perfectly, no problem at all. I highly recommend them for any locksmith service!

If you ever have a lock/key/remote issue and you live anywhere withing 50 miles of this shop, you will kick yourself if you don't go here first. Recently purchased a vehicle and needed a second smart remote programmed and key cut, Laurel Lock Shop did not dissapoint. Goind to the dealer would have cost me $275, but they did it for a fraction of that (i had to pay the additional pin code cost required). Bottom line, I will never go anywhere else!!!!! Thank You for a job well done.

I called to ask if they had a key to unlock my vintage suitcase. The man named Bill didn't even want to answer my questions. He was extremely rude, after the second question I tried to ask him he told me to go somewhere else. I guess this place survives on no business.If you don't want to be treated like a piece of crap stay away from this place. Customer service is king, not rudeness!!!!!

Diana is sharp and works fast. She worked with me to get a special key cut for my subaru. You can use a specific GM key instead of getting the expensive subaru dealer key. This is not in the books but it works (I read about this hack online) . It won't start the car but can be hidden and used to open the door if you accidentally lock your keys in the car. It has to be cut just right though. The first didn't work and she said "I don't cut bad keys" and went back inside determined. She tried some things different and the next two worked great. She also cut a couple house keys for me and they worked great. I had just had the house keys cut at an ace hardware and those didn't work. Diana has good equipment that is accurate and makes good keys. I drove down there form Baltimore because Ace can't cut good keys apparently and Roberts lock shop is not open after 5PM. So, basically, if you have a job and you want good keys, go to Laurel's.

Make this shop your first choice! My animals locked me out of my car this morning while it was running! I didn't catch the lady's name but she came to the rescue within 20 mins and even made me a spare door key! Great people and service.

I've been there a few times in the last month to make copies of some keys. The owner is quick and precise. Call before you go, though, since they aren't always in.

They know locks and have blanks for many more types than the box stores. If getting a less common key type cut, ask them to use the higher precision machine and save yourself a return trip.

If I could give 0 stars I would. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Basically kept giving me the run around an entire day saying she’d make my key only to continue saying she didn’t get to it. She tried to say it’s because I gave her the information late but then said she’d be at the shop between 5-7. I arrived at 6 only for her to tell me she hasn’t even started it & was leaving the shop in 15 mins & that she will “try” to do it But was going out of town so wasn’t sure & she mentioned honestly making her money on doing remote services rather than in shop so if you need a simple key made and go to the shop or your job isn’t a few hundred just know you will NOT BE VALUED AS A CUSTOMER. I went elsewhere to get my key made which was WAY lower than her price anyway. Very frustrating. Note to owner: if you don’t value business let it be known upfront rather than having someone rely on you. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE & absolutely no value for her customers or business unless it makes her enough money.

Top notch work, very friendly and accommodating. My key had snapped off inside the lock of my car rooftop cargo box (Yakima Carbonite series). She was able to remove the fragment still inside the lock and make a replacement key for WAY cheaper than using Yakima directly.

Tucked away in Laurel, the shop is a no-frills, "get the job done" sort of place. I had a lock that needed a re-key, and she was able to get it done while I waited, for a very reasonable price. She also gave me some great tips for installing my funky new lock.
