I had a display cabinet in my house that someone had messed with and broken the lock. It was a very difficult and delicate job to get it unlocked. Sean was a-m-a-z-i-n-g!! He had incredible patience and kept trying until he finally got it open. He was very careful not to hurt the cabinet or the lock. I am amazed that he got it done without breaking anything...I highly recommend Able Locksmiths to anyone!!

I didn't even make it to the store. I only called and that differed me from going to them alone. I called and introduced myself trying to explain what happened to my cars igntion system (the tumblers fell out and needed replaced) it was a simple fix but I didn't know at the time) he got an attitude with me and asked me "What do you want me to do about this? I've never even heard of this problem before." I asked if he can look at my ignition system if I brung the car to him. To that he said "it's gonna be about $300 just to come out and look at it. I don't know what I'm getting myself into." Not to mention I've been on the phone with him for fifteen minutes now and tried explaining everything by detail. I hung up. Don't even try with these people if your still learning about if igntion cylinders on cars. Go with any other locksmith company than these people. Since I can't reply. No I have the right company but no I don't have a name. I only called two different locksmiths. I HAVE THE RIGHT COMPANY. I didn't call yesterday. this call was about a week ago

Previously had keys made at the Big Box stores and most didn't work. With Able, they almost always get it right the first time and whenever a problem always cheerfully replace without question. I TRUST the entire friendly & knowledgeable staff.

So, we needed some work done on our locks for our office. Able Locksmith sent David out promptly, he worked quickly even as patients were going in and out the door, and had the work done in no time at all. He even politely made sure no patient had any trouble getting by him as he worked. in the end the price was very fair (definitely way cheaper than a new lock). On top of that I spent some of the time asking him questions about lockpicking (I had been watching Youtube videos about the subject out of curiosity, it seems like a cool skill to have) and he obliged me with helpful answers and advice on how to learn the basics! Now I am practicing at home. One day I will be a semi-expert (lol) and will amaze friends and probably save myself a lot of grief being locked out of my house. Today the wind blew hard and the door hardware broke (not the actual lock, but the arm with the hydraulic action) off and we had a screw that was sheared off and stuck. Not sure who to call but needing it fixed quickly, we called David and he was here before the afternoon (between other clients) and repaired the door. David was friendly, very competent, and Able Locksmith went above and beyond. I have gotten keys copied there before, but now I will have them in mind whenever I need anything to be done. As someone who is usually disappointed and hard to impress, I am VERY satisfied.

The key fob for my car broke. I ordered a new blank but the closest dealer that could cut it was about 30 miles away. I was recommended to call Able Locksmith by the local Toyota dealer. If you need locksmith services call Able Locksmiths even on a Saturday night, they'll pick up the phone and come to you. Other locksmiths take advantage of you because, well... what choices do you have? Able wasn't like that. R.J. was our tech and he was running late, when I called him a second time he was very apologetic and gave me an update. Once he got there the whole process took about 10 minutes. 10/10 would recommend.

A friend of mine lost her car key off of the alarm pad, from the moment I called this place, the employee was absolutely outstanding!!!! I was able to make a appointment for the next day and due to a language issue , I left my # , well of course my phone dies and I missed both calls, instead of the guy being rude thinking we maybe found the key and didn't cancel, he left a very polite message, even though, he was there on time, she wasn't, This man actually turned back around and was able to get her key to her!!!! If you get locked out, on Thanksgiving, and are forced to stand out in the freezing cold, these guys are the people to call. The gentlemen who came out named Chris Christi was beyond helpful and reassuring that I didn't have to kick in a window or door to save the turkey. He successfully unlocked my door after walking me through everything he was doing so as to keep me calm from the work needed to get into my house. Quick. Efficient. I was locked out last weekend so I tried one of the 24 hour locksmiths on the internet and started getting calls from Miami and Capital Heights. The tech in Capital Heights called and said he'd come but would just break the lock off the door because it couldn't be done otherwise. Ok. This was clearly a scam and the guy had no idea what he was doing. What kind of locksmith just breaks the door? I canceled the service and located Able Locksmiths. Chris was here within 30 minutes and working on opening the electric lock when some guy from the other company showed up demanding money. He was very aggressive and scared me. I actually had to call the cops to make him leave. Chris stayed with me, spoke to the police once they made the other man leave and really helped me through the process. Oh yea...and he opened the electronic lock without breaking it off!!! I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. Chris reacted like a friend even though we'd just met. I'll never use another company. I can't say enough about how thankful I am to have found him when I did!
