Ron came out to help me open my apartment door after I locked myself out one morning. He arrived within an hour, and had the door open within another hour. He was unable to pick the lock because it was so old and already damaged, but he drilled it open and replaced the doorknob and lock very quickly! I was happy with the service and the price.

They also didn't give me any hard sell on a new lock since we are moving this summer and we can use another lock in the meantime. If I need another locksmith, I'll definitely call them.

Very pleased with my experience with A1 Affordable Locksmith. The phone was answered promptly and courteously. They were able to be at my house within a few hours, solved the problem, educated me about how to work and maintain my slightly unusual locks, and there were no surprises when it came time to pay the bill. Locksmiths are perfectly positioned to gouge their often desperate and in-a-bind customers, but A1 Affordable Locksmith didn't take the slightest advantage of that fact. What's not to like?

Had to change locks on the fly. Called Mike on Thursday to make an appointment for Friday. He arrived on time and with several choices of locks. I had seen the electronic locks, but he explained there were more secure locks at a better price. We settled on the more secure lock and he was finished within an hour. He showed up on time and was done super quick. I love that I didn't have to get the knobs replaced which prior locksmiths always try to do (probably for the higher cost). I recently moved to a new place and wanted to have the locks changed for added security. I called a couple of different places and Ron was able to schedule me on the same day. I had three doors, each with knobs and deadbolts- and only one key- which didn't fit all of the doors. Ron let me know it would take a little longer, but he could pick the other locks so they could all be re-keyed. An hour later, Ron had all six locks re-keyed and ready to go- so I only one key, and all with a reasonable price. I'll definitely call if I ever need a locksmith.

I went to my sister’s house and long story short my key broke in her top lock, so I immediately looked up a locksmith in the area. I came across A1 Affordable Locksmith and the reviews for this company were amazing, so I gave them a call. I spoke to a man named Rene and told him my situation and asked if they could send someone out to help me. He told me it wouldn’t be a problem and that the technician would contact me shortly. A few minutes later the tech did call me, he asked about my situation and then informed me that he would be there in 25 to 30 mins. He showed up an hour later and didn’t greet me at all and asked which door was it. When I explained to him how my key broke in the door again, he told me that he all of a sudden he couldn’t help me. He NOW needed to see my sister’s ID and lease agreement showing that she did indeed live there. I stated to him that I don’t have any of that information on me, and the reason for me being there was to get her dog because she worked late that night. He didn’t give any suggestions of how we could resolve the issue, hell he didn’t care and said he has another job to worry about and there was nothing else he could do and he just left. His name was Alex and he was rude as hell and he didn’t give a damn and he just left and told me to call the company and they can worry about it! Needless to say after 5 hours going back and forth with the company, we came to no resolution. I ended up going with a different company who spoke to my sister on the phone and confirmed that she lived there! I would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!! I would call Maryon’s Locksmith Company instead. They had way better customer service; they arrived on time and explained everything to me!!!! I wish I could give them 0 stars!!!!

Absolutely stellar service! I got quotes from 10 different places and after weighing the quoted price with Google reviews, I went with A1 Affordable Locksmith... so glad I did! Mike called me half an hour before the appointment time, was there before me, and was able to get the lock opened in 15 mins. It wasn't an easy job either since the lock couldn't be cut! Really appreciate the speedy and professional job. No offense, but I really hope I never see you guys again, but if I ever need a locksmith again, I know who to call!
