The tailgate lock broke and wouldn't turn to lock or unlock. I brought it to them and less than an hour later, it was ready to be picked up. A competitor wanted $160 to replace it and couldn't get it for 2 days. Murray's fixed it for $10 in less than an hour and it works wonderful.

My boyfriend lost his car keys while sledding with our daughter. He was able to make a new car key and key fob with in an hour! ...don't worry we found the original key months later once the snow melted. ;)

Had a very pleasant experience with the Murrays. Having bought and tried a mailbox lock from a hardware store and a second from another locksmith, I was gratified to find that Murray’s Lock Service had just what I needed—even better than the original. I recommend them as your first stop.

This place was wonderful!!! I was quoted a minimum of $350 to replace my subaru key by several different dealerships when a friend told me about this place. I was told he could order me a key and program it for $200 saving me $150 right before christmas so pf cpurse i ran right over there. When i arrived and explained what had happened(my daughter left keys outside and they froze) he told me he might be able to fix my old key(which Subaru informed me they couldn't), sure enough he was able to fix my old key by replacing the battery(which we already replaced) and reprogramming it! IT WORKED!!! In the end he charged me ONLY $45 and wished me a Merry Christmas. This place is amazing and I'd recommend it to everyone! We were treated with respect and compassion which isn't something you see at most places. If I have any key/lock issues in the future this will definetly be my go to place. THANK YOU SO MUCH MURRAY'S LOCK SERVICE!

I found the customer service to be excellent. The gentleman was polite and seemed very knowledgeable. Getting two keys for my car at hundreds less than the dealership wanted in a few minutes made my day! My situation was a broken hinge on a switchblade key. The key fob still worked and the key's blade would start the car(if I managed to somehow turn it). Dealership wanted nearly $300 for one with no option of just a key without fob. Home Depot and Lowe's couldn't make the key. I was getting stressed not having a spare. Found Murray's and they had the keys made for me in no time at a great price.

Murray's Lock Service saved me!! My Chevy Cruze decided that when I changed my battery on my key/fob that it wouldn't start - it thought I was trying to steal my own car!! It said, "Service Anti-Theft System". So, I called the dealership to help me out and they said I had to have my car towed from my house to their place (about $100) and then they would reprogram and re-key my car (at least $250). I specifically asked if a locksmith could come to and do the same job, and they said no way, only Chevy could do it... I called Bouchard and Son's Towing and they offered some excellent advice - Call Murray's Lock, because the dealership is lying. I called Murray's and after checking that they had the same key/fob in stock Kevin Murray told me he would be at my house in 30 minutes and have me back on the road in 45! Exactly 30 minutes later, Kevin pulled up to my house, verified that the fob was the same, laser cut a new key, reprogrammed my car, and started her right up. Not only did Murray's lock save me over $150, they also saved me the time of having to deal with the tow, the dealership, and the expense!! Thank you Murray's - I'm telling everyone about your excellent and prompt service!! PS - if anyone needs a tow - Bouchards & Son's is a great towing company and wonderfully honest.

Bike was down and out all winter as someone moved and lost my keys. Called to make sure these guys could make me a new key, brought them the ignition barrel and they make me two not just the one I asked for. Let me add they had it made in under 16 hours! They also told me exactly how to get it all back together where I basically took the whole thing apart. Their speed in key reproduction and advice got my bike back up and running in under 5 min. Will always reccomend these guys.

I can’t say enough nice things about this wonderful couple! I needed to replace a key for my daughter’s Honda Civic that I broke while trying to change a battery. The dealership was of little help and wouldn’t even give me a firm estimate of the cost, saying it could be as much as $200. I dropped into Kevin and Heather’s shop and Kevin very quickly and courteously explained that he could cut a new key, transfer the electronics from my old key, and put it in a far better case with a new battery for less than $50! I came back the next day with the broken key and walked out 10 minutes later with a new key that worked perfectly. I will definitely use Murray’s for all of my lock service needs in the future, and I highly recommend that you do the same!

The owner never missed a chance to belittle and talk over me when I was there. I had only started to state my suspicion for the reason I came in and they decided to ask me to do it myself. I was awestruck at the abysmal customer service, and wondered how they remain in business due to that reason alone. Although they do seem to know what they are talking about, that is the only credit I will give them.

Rude on the phone, didn't return calls, and then blamed the customer after they no-showed. When asked about how to remedy was told to find another locksmith. Sound advice so I am sharing words straight from the owners mouth. Best of luck with this outfit. Security. Interesting excuse. I did talk to your people several times, including the evening before the appointment (which you were supposed to call back with the time of appt and didn't) and was told yes you would be coming. Until you didn't. The woman who was upset on the phone had just lost her sister, my mother, and was grieving. Hence the need for a locksmith. My apologies for her behavior (and I did apologize on the phone) and am sorry that her grief was inconvenient for you. Final analysis: your people were willing, able, and prepared to do the job. You personally decided not too, the day of, because your panties were in a twist about a perceived slight (which had been apologized for). If security truly is your reason, I have all probate paperwork and would be happy to share it
