Horrible. First of all they broke my lock getting in and then told me that I can go buy the lock and they will put a new one in for ANOTHER charge. Then when I call to try to fix the situation, I get yelled at and belittled by the supervisor who ends up rudely interrupting me the whole time and then telling me that "the customer is not always right". If you want to be treated like an idiot and your money stolen, this is the place to go.

These locksmiths are a life-saver- We were driving home from vacation when I locked the car's keys inside after getting gas. No coat and my money was inside the car. I went inside the gas station and they recommended these guys. The locksmith was there in less than 15 minutes and my car keys were in my hand in just a couple more minutes. Oh, and the price was less than half of what I had paid last time I needed a car locksmith.

I lost every key to my truck and needed a new key, key fob, and programming. The dealer wanted me to tow my truck to the dealership, and wanted to charge me $$$$$$ to fix. Ridiculous! After speaking to several locksmith I found Tom and 5 star. Talk about great customer service from the very start. Tom travelled to my house, fixed all of my truck key problems, and delivered new keys to me at work. And he did it at 1/3 the price of the dealership. Who does this??? The answer is Tom at 5 Star. After my truck keys were stolen out of my car in New Orleans over the weekend i called on my local Ford dealership to cut and program new keys for my truck. 1st off it took him a total of 30 minutes (15 of which was programing my computer) to measure the grooves for my key using my tailgate keyhole,cut me two keys, and show me how to program my new clicker. He was here asap, genuine as can be, and AFFORDABLE. Everyone else was at least 50$ higher. Screw pop-a-lock, call 5 star lock and key

Got locked out of our house and realized it at 7pm. Called 5 star and within 20 mins he was at our house and getting through not one but two locks just to be able to access the front door. He stayed around and fixed the front door so that we could secure it for the night and showed us how to work our security dead bolt lock. He was really nice and super professional. Will recommend his services to all and if the need ever arises again we will definitely give 5 Star a call!

5 star stands up to that 5 star rating for sure, Tom was so awesome and helpful. Showed up within 45 minutes fixed my problem in less then 20 minutes and saved me hundreds for somthing I thought needed a mechanic and a new ignition cylinder I was wrong. I forgot my keys in my boyfriends truck and he left for offshore 4 hours Away. Instead of driving to go get them I decided to call around to get a new remote FOB key made and programmed . I called Nissan and they quoted me over 100 more than 5 star lock and key PLUS I would have had to get my car towed to them. I looked on google and found 5 star lock and key and they gave me the best quote and told me just to call them when I was on my way home after work wayy in Opelousas. I called on my way home and he even showed up earlier than I expected and it was an all around great experience and took maybe 10 minutes to get it done. I would highly recommend this company over any one else. I was very satisfied

AMAZING. Tom was here in less than 15 minutes. Made a spare key for me right on site and even got the code key to my car so I wouldn't lock myself out again (yes this is my vehicle and I didn't know my own code..whoops). Pop a Lock might be great and all but I promise 5 Star Lock & Key is cheaper & Tom is friendlier than anybody you'll deal with. I'm currently in a position in which a little budgeting goes a long way, and I'll just say that it didn't cause more stress to hear their prices. And if he was frustrated to come into central Lafayette in the dark to do all this, it never showed. Hope I never have to use a lock & key need service again, but I know who I'm calling if I do!!
