Service was great. He was quick and very nice. But Oh yes..theres a BUT! Before he even started...he told us one price and we signed the receipt. We were like.. okay...120$ little high but we'll pay. He did his thing and put on a new knob. A cheap knob.. not even a mediocre one but a cheap knob. Then he says cash or cc. We paid with cc we asked him how much ..he said ill send it to your phone. RedFlag!!! He ran the card and sent receipt to phone it was 290$ and he ran off. We are pissed off. Never told us there was so many upcharges . This company needs to have set pricing or a piece of paper with all their services. And they need to give it their customers and explain pricing and what they will do. By doing this will make their customer feel more at ease and they may get more referrals. Will never use them again.

I called several locksmiths before him and he was not only the cheapest, but also he’s in business with himself unlike the larger companies that I called and was given the run around. This is literally the most unprofessional person I’ve ever dealt with in my life. It amazes me how people who are supposed to upkeep a professional demeanor and display customer service oriented skills usually lack every skill necessary to succeed in their business. I’m almost sure these “positive” reviews came from people who likely know this man personally and want to help get his low grade “business” out there. Trust me, there is a reason this man is the cheapest in the Kc metro area. He sells cheaply made key fobs and the worst part about his cheap products, lack of professionalism and overall lack of basic common sense when it comes to business is the fact that he doesn’t provide a receipt for his transactions. Now don’t get me wrong, I should’ve definitely inquired about it, which i typically do. The ONE time I don’t remember to get my receipt for a transaction is the one time I need it most. I am not one to play about any monetary transactions I make and I mean this. When I am at work I treat my customers like they are my own family by ensuring their needs are met beyond their expectations, so it truly bothers me when I am the customer and don’t get the same treatment. I don’t think there is a soul in the world that’s okay with spending money and not receiving top notch customer service. Let me not forget to mention that I received service from him on exactly December 11,2018 and we are now halfway through January! I have called and texted this man numerous times in attempt to get a receipt from him. He had an excuse and apologized literally every time I called. Why are you apologizing? Just do your job sweetie and there would be no need to do such. And IF you must apologize, the absolute best apology is changed behavior, so in your case JUST ACTUALLY DO YOUR JOB AND KEEP YOUR WORD. The last conversation I had with him on late December he explained that he had to retrieve receipts from the dealership. Wait, what? Why are your recipes not on hand? That made no sense but okayyyyy. The funny part is that I initially was NOT going to go through him to get a new key to begin with. The man kept texting and calling me phone in attempt to persuade me to go with him for the service of a new key. I gave in out of lack of desire to keep calling around to find someone to service me in my area for a reasonable price. Listen to me when I say YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Today I get in my car and you would not believe me when I say it WOULDN’T START!!! So I call Mike twice, no answer both times. I went ahead and had my boyfriend call him on 3 way. Guess who answered on the 2nd ring? Mike did!!! So I’m assuming he has my number memorized at this point because that’s how many times I’ve called him in an attempt to get a receipt! I explained that my car kept saying “key not detected” and told him I’ve taken every measure to try to get it to start and nothing would give. He stated he’d check for another fob and would call back. This was at 11:30am central time. It’s 3pm now and still no call. As stated before, I am not one to play about my money. Not only did him not sending me a receipt like I requested over a month ago stop me from proceeding with a claim I had to file about my old car key getting stolen, but he also caused for me to be 3 hours late to work today. Instead of being a business professional, he decided to be just another one of those janky street locksmiths with no type of expertise about how to properly communicate and run a business. I much rather have spent $350 on a new key fob knowing that the quality of Sevice would be above satisfactory than to deal with someone as unprofessional and raggedy as Mike. Hopefully he reevaluates how he goes about business with others moving forward, but nonetheless he’ll never get another penny from me.

Called Mike, he came out within 15 minutes. I had a used key fob from Northcoast keyless that he reprogrammed for me. He also cut the new key and had everything done within 15 minutes. So so handy. I had gone to A to Z budget key earlier and they couldn't get it to work.
