Very rude to my wife while I was at work rushed and unprofessional. Didn't fix the key fob correctly the first time came back the second time and noticed we had a daughter and blamed it on her. The old fob did not unlock the car and when he came back to replace the one he messed up he told her do you hear that it unlocks. Very rude will never use again!!!!

My Volvo battery died so my key fob wouldn’t unlock the door so I called Scherer and 20 minutes later he was working on my car. He didn’t use pry bars or air bags, he worked the lock and then cut me some door keys which I’ve never had. I’ve used other locksmiths before, he is deffenitly the best I’ve ever seen! Thanks!!!!

Daughter was stranded in Terre Haute when car keys were stolen during finals week. Mr. Scherer cut two keys (with chips), dropped the keys off at her apartment, and took payment over the phone, all within two hours of my call, and at half the cost of the dealer. Awesome service.

Had a center cut key for a 2013 Ford Fusion that broke off of the Key fob and I had called Mr. Scherer and met with him within 2 hours. In under 30 mins I had my key attached to a new fob, cut a spare key, and received an emergency door key. I had the all the keys programmed and cut for 50$ less than what the dealer would’ve charged me in under 30 mins. Excellent service.

All-Tran Transmission Service

We had a 2001 PT Cruiser to work on but no keys. I was referred to Mr Scherer by Danny @ AAA Towing. I was skeptical as I can sometimes get a key from a dealer, but then we normally have to tow the vehicle to the same dealer for programming as this car required a key with the security chip. This takes a half day's time or better as well as added expense. My assistant called. In LESS than 30 minutes he had arrived, cut an entry (door) key, cut & programmed an ignition key with a cost comparable for everything to what a dealer has been charging us for JUST the programming. WE were highly impressed with the speed of service and professionalism. WE will def call again on the next vehicle.

I misplaced my only fob. He suggested I wait before spending the extra money, as it may turn up. I decided I should still have a spare, even if I do find the original. He came to my location to program and cut a new key. I was surprised that it was a genuine Ford fob and not an aftermarket. My new fob performs all of the same functions as my original. My aftermarket auto start works and it will roll my windows up and down. He was very kind and professional. He also cut me a complimentary entry key. Thanks for the great service!

This man called me the worst names over and over because I wanted a receipt. First if all he came on my property and made a key for my husband and charged him $1200. Then when I called to get receipt he refused and said I would have to pay for it.
