They're just making up prices. It was the easiest job possible, no skill needed.. If it would 've been hard, I guess they just keep the vehicle. Scam. False advertising.

I was locked out of my car, it was in an outdoor parking gararge in downtown Indy and it was below freezing outside. I was pretty desperate, and this company had good reviews on Google so I called them. The operator quoted $19 for a service fee and $45 for the unlock and told me a technician would call right away. He did and I told him my situation and where I was located. There was a bit of a language barrier, and it was clear he did not know downtown Indianapolis. He said he could not find the intersection where the garage is, but I finally found the address to the garage and texted it to him so he could find me. He told me it would take 30 minutes to get there and I had already spent 30 talking to him and looking up the address, etc. I went to a restaurant to get out of the cold and wait and he texted when he was 20 minutes away. After another 30 minutes he called saying he was turning onto the street, so I went outside to meet him. I was talking to him and I watched him drive right by the street (at the time I did not know it was his vehicle) and he blamed it on his GPS and said he was two minutes out. In all, I was standing in the freezing cold for nearly 20 minutes. Ultimately, he turned down the wrong street and I had to walk a block to find him and walk him up to my car. Once he got to the car and determined he could open it he first turned to me and asked if I had cash. I told him no and the operator said I could use a credit card. He said fine, so $90 is good. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I told him no, that is not what I was quoted and he started hassling me about the time involved to drive out and the labor, etc. I told him the time was his fault and he should be compensating me for the wait in the cold. He then tried to "negotiate" the price to $80 and then $75. It was not until I asked him what kind of scam he was running that he backed-down and said he would do it for the $65 quoted (it was $64, but whatever). After that it took under 5 minutes for him to pry the door with an air pump and press the unlock button with a lever. I paid him and got away from him ASAP. A BAIT & SWITCH OPERATION I don’t know if it is the company or the technician or both, but I would steer clear of them.

I was at work and my keys fell off my keychain. It was my last key. It was on New Year's Eve and I had another job to go to. They answered my call quickly and within 5-10 minutes the technician arrived. He was able to have everything ready under 1 hour. I now have a better key and new fob that works! Called them at 9:10 PM on October 17, 2018. A pleasant sounding lady answered and asked what my problem was. I told her I locked my keys in the car, and that I had to pick up my wife from work. She took my name, phone #, and make & year of my car. She said someone would call in 10 or 15 minutes. I woke up IN MY CHAIR at 6 AM this morning still locked out of my car, and STILL waiting for a call!! BEWARE of these people, they will LEAVE YOU STRANDED! The good: This company unlocked and started my car when I lost my keys, and made me a replacement key. So they do what they advertise. The bad: The service is absolutely terrible. - Locksmith (Dan) had trouble finding the address, was annoyed with me from the get-go, and acted like it was my fault that I didn't immediately share my GPS location with him via google maps. - Communication was very difficult. The locksmith seemed to rush through all his explanations. He never gave me any options or help make the process clear, just said "thisiswhatimgonnado,ok?ok." - The pricing is ambiguous. Over the phone, I was told there would be a $19 service charge, and a $129 charge for a key. So I expected roughly around $150. In the end, I was charged $260, and the only explanation I received was that there was an extra $80 due to a chip in the key. However, this wasn't made clear to me until it was time to pay. Furthermore, $150 + $80 does not equal $260, and the company has not responded to my requests for clarification of pricing or itemized receipts. Summary: -Service sucks -Expect to pay out the nose and feel like you were ripped off.

I got home at 3am from celebrating my 30th birthday. My key was NOT working in my apartment's deadbolt, and emergency maintenance had not returned any of my 3 calls. I called several locksmiths, and Mobile was the only one who answered. The gentleman was very kind, and had a tech out within 30 minutes. Unfortunately my deadbolt had to be replaced, so I paid more than I'd planned. HOWEVER, the tech was very persistent in replacing my very difficult lock. I wish I'd caught his name. I called Mobile LockSmith for a lost key and needed a replacement. The dispatcher contacted Dan who quickly returned my call. Dan was flexible with the meeting time and very courteous on the phone. Dan and I agreed on the time to meet, and he arrived right on time. Dan told me all the options for the replacement key and the prices. We agreed on everything, and Dan went right to work. It took a short time for Dan to get the codes he needed to make the keys. Dan was very professional in his appearance and very nice as well. He explained things to me I didn’t understand. Lifesavers! Okay, maybe just day savers but still amazing. There was less than an hour between when I called and told the dispatcher I locked my keys in my car and when I was back in my car with keys in hand. I have 99 Ford Explorer and was stranded in southport Indiana! Couldn't find my keys anywhere. Looked for 2 days and nothing. Gave mobile locksmith a chance and bam! A new key with chip for an affordable price. Settled on price over phone and confirmed by tech also and job was done quick! Reprogramming and chip key is working great! Thanks again! $170 i know is pricey but cheaper then new car & better then walking!

THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD!!! When I called, they told me $19 service call & $45 for the actual service. The guy gets here, pops my lock open & says $125. On top of that they wanted to charge me extra money for using my debit card. I had to use cash. They did NOT mention this on the phone. I have a Kwikset Smartkey lock on my bedroom door. He popped it open in less than 60 seconds.

I was locked out of my house due to the electricity being out from a storm. Called was quoted $19 service fee and price would start at $65. Tech called said he would be here in 35 min. 40 min. Later he called again and said he would be 10 min. 15 min. later he showed up wanting to see all of my doors. He couldn't understand why I was locked out. Eanted to know where the keys were. I told him inside the house. I always use the garage door. Have never needed the keys. When the power goes out you can not use the garage door opener or open the garage door from the outside. I took him to the front door, he barely looked at the lock and said it would be $190 plus the service fee. He said hemsy have to drill it out and then it would be more. I told him no, that should be an easy lock to open. He then raised his voice at me telling me he may have to drill it and it would be more. I told him I would call someone else, I dod not trust him to do the job in the simplest way. He ssid he came a long eay and the fee would be $30. Not the quoted $19. I gave him $40 cssh and ssked for my change, he immediately got one the phone and was telling whomever he was talking to I dodn't want to have the service done snd he didn"t know why. He kept trying to get me to let him unlock the door, i told him I did mot trust him and he needed to leave my property. It took him a minute to realize I was ignoring his plea to do the work and calling someone else. Very misleading on quotes for srevoce over the phone. I get it, over the phone, you have no idea what kind of lock they will be dealing with but there should be a standard range. Looking at thexother reviews, it looks like I sm not the only one that was mislead on pricing. I still do not trust that the simplest,least expensive job would have been done.

Arrived within 45 minutes, however it took 2 1/2 hours to install 3 locks and was unable to install the 4th lock does have the proper tools or skill set, my husband had to loan some of his tools to get done the little that was done. This by far was not a professional linstall. The you man had so many phone calls it was frustrating to himself! Does not speak good English!!!!! Would not recommend!

Locked ourselves out of the house and the man, Dimitry Mesnik, lied to us and tried to break our doorknob. We were told it would only be TWENTY FIVE MINUTES and it took AN HOUR to get here for starters. They also said it would only be NINETEEN DOLLARS to come out and look at it and then he tried to rip us off for FORTY DOLLARS. He gets here and he then said it would be EIGHTY to BREAK our door, that's when he said we had to PAY HIM IN CASH when they said we could pay with our card. Eventually we just broke the window and told him to forget it. Never use this company, they're just a bunch of liars and thieves. They aren't even locksmiths, they're just horrible people that take advantage of their customers. If I could give them a 0/5 stars, I would. Update: The head of the company was supposed to call a little while after this review was posted and, surprise surprise, we were lied to again. Ridiculous. Update 2: In response to the owner's comment, that is the biggest lie I have EVER heard. We were told that our lock could be picked before he got there and he didn't even try. We were also told one price before he got there, for example the nineteen dollars for coming out, and that was switched to forty dollars. You are all nothing but terrible people and liars, which is clearly how you run your company. Just lies after lies, you're unbelievable. You clearly didn't read a word I put either, if you had, maybe you'd learn a little something or two about how to treat customers and not take advantage of them.

I had an awful morning, I had locked my keys in my car and the gentleman that came to my rescue was the most amazing hero ever! James Joseph not only helped me and saved my day but he also made two extra keys for me and told me about a magnetic key box to hide under my car. He got to me within 15 minutes and saved my day. I have never met a person who was so helpful and polite and sincere as he his. I will highly recommend him to anyone I know and will definitely call him for any future problems I have. The technician did get me into my truck, but this company used a very deceptive tactic to increase the price. I was quoted $60 to $80 over the phone, and I of course was expecting the tech to charge me the $80 figure because they never actually charge you the lower number, but when he got here he told me the charge would be $100 because of the service CALL. In case you missed that, the additional $20 was for THE PHONE CALL. they do things like this because they know they have you over a barrel and you need access to your vehicle, so it's very unlikely you'll say no. It's a dirty business tactic.
