You can now stop reading all the Google, Yelp, and FB reviews...This company is all you could ask for and more. They are responsive, prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and 100% stand by their work. My daughter left her 2 young children, and her GMC Terrain with all the kid’s “stuff” in it, to fly out for a 3 day trip while gma got to babysit. Unfortunately, she left everything except the car keys and the car was locked tight. I called Lockout Express and someone answered! which was the first good thing I noticed. Ed arrived within the hour, but while unlocking the door a very fluke incident occurred and the window cracked. Unable to replace the window without a key and unable to secure a company to repair it on-site on a Friday afternoon (although Brian tried!) Ed remained at our home for about 2 hours cutting a master key while Brian drove to Hammond to set an appointment and pay for the window replacement the next day. Brian even offered to take the vehicle in for the repair. He made several follow up calls to apologize and ensure everything was satisfactory. It is too typical these days that the accepted norm is “buyer beware”. I cannot express how refreshing it was to feel I was in the hands of experts in their field with equal pride in all areas of their service provision. Thank you all, and may you prosper and grow.

I never used them but they have me a price to reset a key fob for a Hyundai and they said it would be about $329. And I already have the original key fob it just stopped working and I found another place that only charges $35. That's 10% of the price

Lockout Express really is the CHEAPEST, hassle-free way to go. The company is very polite right off the bat on the phone and they did not mind answering all of my questions. Their price was almost HALF of the dealers price, not to mention Lockout Express was the ONLY locksmith around (even the car dealers have to order the key and it takes FIVE BUISNESS DAYS) that even had keys and programming capability for European cars. Better than dealer quality without breaking the bank.

I was quoted through triple A that it would cost $400 to replace the cylinder switch and get the car working again. I found this reasonable if the entire part is replaced at a cost of around $250 for the part. However, I was told if they didn’t need to replace the part and they could fix it that it would cost less. They did not replace the cylinder instead they fixed it by changing the cylinders (a much cheaper job). The entire task took an hour and a half. I was charged $400 for this even though the part was not replaced. $400 - $20 in parts = $380. $380 divided by the hour and a half it took is $253 per hour. They charged over $250 an hour for this job. I could have had the car towed to a mechanic and replaced for less than half what I was charged. This same service elsewhere has cost me less than $200 and locksmiths elsewhere with as good of reviews charge under $100 an hour. Beware they will bleed you dry.

I needed to have a remote key programmed for my 2016 Honda HRV, which I already had in my possession. The locksmith who came out was very courteous, professional, and clean. He was well versed in the subject of remote programming. While programming my key he was able to locate my previously misplaced remote key that had not yet been programmed as well inside my car. So, he programmed both remote keys for me. One of the remote keys had a low battery. He informed me of this and replaced the battery for me with no issue. Overall working with Lockout Express was a great and hassle free experience. The locksmith arrived promptly and was finished in a matter of 20 minutes for both remote keys and the battery replacement. I will definitely be contacting them in the future for all of my automotive locksmithing needs.
