Don't bother with this company. Emailed through the website and they said they had the part. I drove 45 minutes in each direction in the rain. They don't have what they said they did. Thanks for wasting my time. Lets be clear on this. I emailed the company and got a response from the company right near closing time and the very next day I was there before noon. So what happened is the guy said they had one, but didn't check.....they compound the problem by replying to this review that they sold their last one in the 3 hours in the morning that they were open before I got there. Funny thing is that I used this company for all my key needs and probably spent 1,000 with them rekeying offices and other lock stuff....this was their southside location. When I emailed them about this keyfob, I knew I was paying more and it was far from my house, but I just needed this key really bad yesterday. Really disappointed that they just dont care about the customer at the fishers location. If I were you, I would just contact one of the mobile key places because it is cheaper and they come right to you. That is what I ultimately had to do and it worked.

Great company. I called another locksmith and they told me it my lock was "unlockable" and had to drill it out for $180. Bob's tech came and picked for $60! Clean cut guys in a company truck. Won't use anyone else!

Locksmiths are a dying breed. Seems like they used to be everywhere. I was really pleased to see a young girl being trained in the practice. I didn't catch names, but the man teaching the girl was very patient and thorough in his instructions. Both gave great service, in spite of me showing up 10 minutes before closing with an obscure key from a vintage motorcycle. I was only charged $10 for the lost key. Which is a bargain considering finding a new lock would be near impossible. The shop is clean and we'll lit. Service was quick, the key was perfect. Overall a very good experience

I locked my keys in my car at Meijer. I had my one year old grandson with me (luckily not in the car) and after making several calls, Bob's was the first one able to help me and they happened to be right across the street. He couldn't get my stubborn lock to unlock so he was able to go back to office and make me a door key. He was so polite and professionalI i would highly recommend them!

Had a great experience at Bob’s in Fishers off 96th street. Needed a new backup key fob for my 2010 Lexus and the service was great. I showed up late due to 465 traffic and they stayed open to help me past closing time. They cut me a backup key, cut another key cause mine was still a blank for the original (bought the car at an auction) and programmed my backup fob to my car....plus gave me the practice blank key they cut to keep in my wallet. All for a flat rate price...no extra costs. Service was professional, kind, understanding and great quality. I’m always going to Bob’s for service and you should too. You don’t find many places like Bob’s ....go, you won’t regret it. And tell your friends....I am!

Sometimes when you spend a bunch of money with a business, the next time you come in they lick their chops and say "nice, this guy spends $$", not Tim at Bob's Locks, Tim will help you, Tim will assess your needs and help you solve a problem. After changing keyways for 6 shops a few months ago, I realized yesterday that I needed some new master keys. So I bopped in and asked for 7 master keys (commercial grade) with customer imprints on each. Easily would have paid $5 each, wouldn't have questioned if they cost $10 each. (no, lowes key makin machine can't do it). But Tim, knowing that I'm a loyal customer, hands them to me and says thank you for your business this year, we appreciate it! Thank You Bob's Locks! (and no, just because you spend over a grand at a place doesn't mean you deserve anything for free, a service has value, but sometimes nice people do nice things, and for that I am grateful!)

This was the best experience. I went it with one issue for a key and remote. He was able to sell me the transpoder key and facorty remote plus program everthing right there at the store. We were in and out in 15 -20 min. Price was less than half what cadallic wanted. Extremely happy! He has the factory tool to do the correct programming just like the dealership would do.

They are so professional and informative every time I go in to get keys for my company, but recently, they actually saved me a cool ~$70. I had a “special” situation with my truck’s transponder, after it had been stolen and the ignition was manhandled. Still, I needed a key made. In about 10 minutes time, the guy (wish i’d gotten his name) helped me understand that my truck’s transponder wasn’t functional anymore. He could have easily sold me the transponder key for ~$70 anyway, but he told me what he discovered, handed me the copy I needed and sent me on my way. Never thought I would elect to drop five stars for a locksmith, but Bob’s deserves it. If you need security hardware on the Northside, this store should be your first call.

I had motorcycle saddlebags from an old bike that was totaled. The bags were $1000.00 and I planned to use them on my new bike but I had turned over the keys when the bike was wrecked. Kawasaki dealer didn't know how to remove the cylinders to replace the locks but Tim at Bob's had them opened in a matter of minutes. Further he got into the bags and re-keyed the locks to my new key. Price was MORE than fair and ultimately made me money as I returned a lock set I purchased and didn't need since he salvaged the original lock-sets. Cant say enough positive about this. Super helpful and friendly service. Thanks a ton!

I called and they INSTANTLY sent a tech to my location to fix the problem at no cost (on a Saturday). This was amazing service considering I had spent only $30 with the company. The tech fixed the issue and cut new keys on the spot. Very impressed and would recommend their services. Thanks guys!

Absolute unprofessional to claim one thing over the phone, and change it upon arrival. Utterly displeased with this company.

Tim, the owner has gone above and beyond from a customer service end to assure we feel safe and secure not only with the purchase of an AMSEC American made safe (pay the price vs box store imported safe) but when we were compromised on losing a house key, Tim and his professional staff were prompt in helping us change our locks timely, dropping what he was doing making us feel like family. We cannot say enough about Bob's Lock. We wish we could do more for them.

May 1st no longer will copy customer keys. I had a great experience at this place a few months back. I went ahead and ordered some key fobs and keys for my 2002 chevy susburban. I passed Ace hardware to specificly come to this place. I was met with a snarky teenager who said as of may 1st they wont use customer provided keys. I said I will pay you he said no sorry have a nice day. Have no idea why buy they lost out on some easy money. So go to Ace Hardware. Just swing by Yats on your way.
