Great service, was really stuck in a jam during a winter storm, where myself and my family were locked out of our home and we tried calling multiple services who did not end up sending help. Thankfully American Lock and Key was able to get the job done!

In all honesty I did write a poor review a few weeks ago but I gave Anthony a second chance due to his circumstance with his vehicle and his apologies for lack of communication. He did eventually come and do the job successfully and without issues. I paid his fees and I now have antique door locks in original 1880's slab doors which could not have been accomplished without a tech that understood the tools needed and the craft to do such work. I appreciate good work and with good communication then thats a winning combo in my book.

I moved into a new house and wanted to have the locks changed, a relatively simple and straightforward job. I did an internet search for locksmiths in the area and American Lock and Key popped up. I called the number and spoke with Anthony, the owner, who quoted me a price that was in line with what I had paid in the past for similar services. As the price quoted verbally was reasonable, and Anthony was available on the same day, I went with his company to do the work. After coming out initially, the project was delayed since Anthony only had one of the two locks he needed in his truck, so he had to come back a second day. Everything went fine until the job wrapped up and Anthony presented me with a bill that was over $400 MORE than his verbal quote. Listed out were various miscellaneous fees, charges, and extras. My wife and I were shocked at the cost as it was far more than we had paid in the past for the same services, and far more than his verbal quote. When I raised my concerns with Anthony, he basically stated that it cost what it cost and that the extras were because he had to do more work than anticipated. My wife and I were home both times that he was there performing the work, and not once did he inform us that the price was going to be different than his quote. I found this approach to be highly dishonest as he could have let us know at any point before or during the work that the price would be different than the quote, and only after all of the work was done did we find that out. I would not recommend this company. If you do decide to use this company, be sure to get a signed, written quote before any work starts so you don’t experience what I did.

Fantastic service! Answered the phone immediately. Extremely quick response. Very pleasant and disarming. Made a very upsetting and disturbing situation immediately manageable. Called Anthony at 8:00pm on a Thursday night in a complete panic. I needed my safe open as soon as possible (passport) and he answered right away and met me at his office in ten minutes. GREAT price and only took him five minutes. Very nice guy and great service. Would absolutely go again.

I approached Anthony with a special security need. Money and other valuables were stolen from my vehicle on more than one occasion. I needed to find a way to secure my valuables with a reasonable assurance that they would still be there when I returned to my vehicle. Anthony advised me to install a safe into the interior of my console. There was no safe manufactured in the right size and with a heavy thickness of steel. This required that the safe be custom made in thick steel to the measurements of the interior of the console. My needs also required a high security lock to be installed in the safe. Anthony was able to provide that additional feature to the safe as well. He made sure to carry out the process with meticulous accuracy and attention to detail. After taking measurements, he had the safe custom built to fit my exact needs. My new safe arrived in a timely manner. Anthony then recommended the right people who did a top-of-the-line job installing the safe to the frame of the vehicle from inside the console. The installation took several hours. It went smoothly and successfully with no damage caused to the safe, the console or other parts of the vehicle. The safe is very solid and looks as if it is an original part of the vehicle! Anthony was able to get me exactly what I needed. I will hire him again for my next security need and will write a review of his work again.

Long story short, I recently purchased a motorcycle but seller only had one key. I went to another locksmith and they cut a key for me using one of their generic blanks and it didn't work too well. I went ahead and bought 2 oem blank keys from the dealer only to go to a few locksmiths and tell me they cannot cut this key and would have to use their own. Fast forward to today, I met up with Anthony and within 5 mins he cut my keys. Very fast service! I went home and first thing I wanted to do was test the keys on my motorcycle. ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. Anthony, thank you again! You are the man! Highly recommended!

Anthony is a REAL Locksmith. He picked the lock on my safe and made me a key for $200 when the "drillsmith" from Quick Key spent all of 2 mins deciding to drill / destroy my safe and wanted $315 to do it. What a bad joke. Go with American Lock and Key. You won't regret it.

What a great experience! I had lost the key to my curio cabinet that held items from my deceased father. I was having my living room redone and could not move the cabinet until I opened it and moved the items that meant so much to our family. I was fortunate to find Anthony and made an appointment that day. He came at the appointed time and with a bit of work on Anthony’s part and fingers crossed on my part....the cabinet was unlocked. Anthony found that the lock was broken so he is fixing that for us and he also made me a new key. I am sending his name and number to friends and family members. He was kind, qualified and it was apparent he loved doing the job. He literally took me from being worried to thinking the key had been lost so I was able to have someone I can trust to open things that I felt might be locked indefinitely. He is licensed and takes pride in his work, charges a fair price for the job he completes. Don’t be concerned about the many others who claim to be “locksmiths” but are not skilled or licensed by our state. Had some trouble with the lock on my sliding glass door....4 other locksmiths wouldn't even come look at it...Was told to call the manufacturer of the door...I didn't want to wait...Luckily I found American Lock & Key!!
