If I could give Jay a lower review, I would. "This guy's cheaper than the rest", I thought. "Who needs to pay so much for a key fob?" Well, Not only did it take this "24 hour" key guy two days to get to my place, but when he got here, he couldn't even figure out how to program my key fob! He spent like 3 hours fumbling around with my car before finally giving up (and not putting my car seat back where it previously was, I might add). He told me he needed to talk to tech support, then would get back to me the next morning. Guess who never called the next morning? I had to call him the next afternoon to remind him, and he again told me he would call me in 30 minutes. Haven't heard back yet. I finally went with his competitor, who rhymes with "Fadvanced Flock and Fkey" and had it all wrapped up and paid for less than an hour after I called. Jay has no idea what he is doing, and I would strongly suggest you pay the extra money to get someone who can actually do their job.

My wife and I were out on a long-needed date. The last thing we needed was to be locked out of our car. I was hoping to call someone who wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg and take an hour trying to unlock our car. Jay showed up in 30 minutes and unlocked our car in 5!

I would not recommend Jay. My experience was a bad one. I called him to our place of business and he forgot the appt. I called him to remind him and he told me her couldn't remember. So he was 2 hours. late. He left without finishing and I called him to make sure he was coming back. He said he would be back at a certain time that same day and never showed up. He called right at 5:00 when we were closing & I told him that he could finish up at 8:00 am the next day so as to not disturb the person that sits at that desk. He agreed he would be here at 8:00. He didn't show up until 8:45. He left and said he would be back in 1 hr. and I am still waiting for him....He is not reliable but the key he made does work. I am still waiting for the other one .He only had to make 3 keys. I am amazed he is still in business!

Locked my keys in the car while running. What a bonehead, It's Christmas Eve. Not a problem for Jay. He arrived in the 15 minutes that he quoted and unlocked my car in a flash. Super nice guy and he made a spare key for the vehicle on the spot for no extra charge. Wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

well, he didn't really unlock the door so much as drill a hole through the knob, but I can indeed get into my bathroom now. i guess the moral of this story is that if you get locked out, you'd better hope you didn't install the doorknob upside-down.

2 stars for showing up on time. Nothing else. I informed him of my make, model and year of my car ahead of time to get a new key cut to code. Shows up and informs me he doesn't have a code for my car. Tells me I need to get my ignition wafers cleaned, which I knew, but he didn't have enough time and that he would come back later. Never returned. Called him and he said he would come back the next day. Never showed back up. Never returned call. He also didn't close my car doors all the way, nearly draining my battery because my dome light was on. Advanced Lock and Key had it fixed and ready within an hour the following day.

I don't know if we caught this guy on a bad day or something. But he was extremely unprofessional. And if I could give no stars I would. Unfortunately, we didn't have the fast service as others experianced. My dad had called Devon to meet the next day at 6pm at my school, where I left my car. We arrived at 6:10pm, called him and said he'd be there in another 2 hours (he was at Temecula). Waited again, because we had to get this done, called him at 8:30pm, said he'd be there in 20 mins, and finally he got here at 9:30pm. Honestly it was a huge waste of time. I had plans to study for my microbiology class, instead I wasted my whole Friday night waiting at a parking lot for this guy. I mean, he's cheap, but be prepared to give your whole day waiting for this guy.

After calling another company who I knew through an acquaintance, being told 20 minutes... and it was well past the one hour mark, I called Jayko's Lock Service. He said 15 minutes and text me half way here. The car was open in seconds and 4 extra keys made for my home upon telling Jay that Lowe's attempted 8 times making a bad key. That was complimentary. WOW!!! HE ALSO MAKES KEY FOBS! FOR UNDER $75 Nice! Thanks Jayko, I'll recommend you any day!!!

Absolutely blown away by the experience that Jayko provided. Advanced lock and key quoted me $110 to cut keys for my 2004 Chrysler Sebring. Jay made it happen for $60. Nearly half the price and he cut me TWO new keys. EDIT** Called Jay back to get a key cut again and he quoted me $175 for 2 keys for my 2008 Pontiac G8. Had his tech come over and suddenly the price is raised to $225. His tech left and I decided $50 wasn't worth arguing about. Called him up to to come back. Tech was now heading to his house in Meridian for dinner. Agreed to come back after dinner. Waited 1h and 30m called him up. He was telling me he was just about to leave. Waited another 50 mins. Called him back; where are you? "on the interstate." Finally after jerking my chain for 2 hours and 20 mins the tech shows up. Takes another 40 mins to tell me he cant cut a key for my car. I had such a positive experience with Jay initially and it shames me that I've recommended so many friends and family to this guy. I wont be a customer any longer even if he does work cheap. Fire your tech he doing your business a disservice.
