Wow!!! Pensacola Lock and safe was great!!! I got quoted $45 dollars to have my car unlocked, but I only had $20. I'm 36 weeks pregnant, and out of the great kindness in their hearts, they came and unlocked it for me for $20. It's great to know that their are businesses out there who actually care about their customers, and not just the money. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! You guys are great!!!! I tried to have keyless entry made for a used truck that I just bought. After the tech tried unsuccesfuly to make it,,,the truck locked up. They got it running again and made me a key, but 2 weeks later I was getting an error code on the truck that indicated that I was using the wrong key and it wouldn't start. When I called the tech that made the key, he said that he would talk to his manager and call me right back,,,,,he never did. I had to get rid of the truck,,,,,,the dealer wanted 3000 dollars to fix it. No doubt it had electronic issues,,,possibly caused by your techs when they ran into a problem programming the key. They disarmed the alarm system by removing the fuse. Maybe a follow up call from the store manager when I was having problems would have helped clear things up. A key on this vehicle is more than a piece of metal, it is a programmable device which won't start the vehicle if it is not programmed properly.

These guys are awesome. I walked in and a gentleman behind the counter with a giant beard was very kind to me and helped me greatly. He took apart a rusty corroded boat slam latch with the lock, cleaned it, disengaged the lock, and put it back together. It works perfectly. I could’ve spent $125 trying to fix this problem but it cost me 20 at his shop. Well worth it. Thank you

My needs as a customer were given GREAT attention, my items were made in a very timely manner (during the holiday season!), and the young lady who works reception / logistics / scheduling (I believe her name is Lisa?) deserves a raise. She's one of the most pleasant and helpful people that I've ever spoken to who works in customer service. The items that I purchased were used to bring a very old family heirloom back to life, which nearly brought two of the men in my family to tears (haha!). VERY satisfied with my dealings here and will be returning!

Technicians arrived within the time they said, quickly unlocked the door and would have gotten five stars if their attitudes and actions had been different. Called them to a medical practice where the one technician sat in front of the building and chain smoked-- while they may have felt it was after hours-- 545pm for us means there are still patients present; did not feel it was appropriate to be smoking within 10 feet of our door. After the service was completed, I had questioned the amount to be paid the tech became nasty and rude all the while sitting in his van, making no effort to be a professional with me. No receipt was given and I had to call the next day to have one emailed. Likely won't be using them again if the need ever arises.

Pensacola Lock & Safe (PL&S) has been our preferred vendor for as long as I can remember for several key reasons. 1.) They are extremely responsive. Of course whenever a locksmith is needed it is almost always an emergency, and time and time again PL&S has arrived on or before time and stayed as long as it takes to complete the job. 2.) They are professionals and very trustworthy. I have found PL&S to always be courteous and act in the utmost professional manner around all or our tenants. I only hear compliments from any suite they've worked with. 3.) They are great people. Bottom line is they are professional, honest, trustworthy, and everything that you could ask for in a vendor. Edit - 4/16/29: After I posted the original review, the owner reached out to me about the job that was done. He indicated that I should have been told about "beauty plates" that are installed behind the locks to cover the damage that is done when removing difficult locks. He offered to order them and have them overnighted so that he could have them installed while we were home. In fact he succeeded in making this happen and the result is very satisfactory (see image with plate behind the lock). So I have increased my rating by two stars and I say "Thank you" for your response. Original review: I am not impressed. The price for a home visit and replacement deadbolt is reasonable enough and they came in a very timely fashion. But I think the job was done poorly. The aluminum door was left pretty marred and I took 20 minutes vacuuming the metal filings out of the indoor-outdoor carpet from drilling out the lock. The tech did offer to vacuum - I said I'd take care of it - but I think that experience would have suggested to put something down to catch these filings rather than letting them fall into the carpet. Also, torquing the lock with a 10" screwdriver, one should expect that it is going to damage the door as it did. So, I have a new lock costing over $125 but I also have a door that looks worse for wear than it did before the job. I'll look elsewhere if I have to get another lock repaired.

EXCELLENT COMPANY: VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMERS! Last year we bought a new house and they had our new home re-keyed with in 24 hours. The technician was personable, likeable, professional, time efficient, and excellent at explaining the differences in the types of doors and locks we had. We had an excellent experience. This year we lost a car key because of our positive past with pensacola lock and safe, without hesitation, we called them again. The first moment on the phone with an obviously happy fella (don't remember his name) instantly eased my frustration of losing the car key. Dispatch was great, Lisa offered to have someone come out right away. With in an hour, they called to let me know our tech was on his way. Spencer was able to re-key the car and answer other general questions I had. Spencer, was also a very knowledgeable, likeable, helpful, professional technician. We have had amazing customer service with each and every encounter. The prices are fair and fully disclosed up front. Fair and honest businesses are a gem in today's world. My family has benefited, twice now, from this excellent company. We are extremely satisfied customers and will return to pensacola lock and safe for any future needs. December 2018: 4 STARS I raised the star rating because I tried them again, and they came during the time that they said this time (they said 45 minute wait on the phone, and they came in 45 minutes. Accurate), there was a lady on the phone who was concise and pleasant unlike the unhappy judging guy who was deleting my info before. She got my information down fast, and she was efficient. They make sure they got my phone number and my email for the receipt (didn't ask for email before in my first review, so they're improving their system). The locksmith who pulled the handle with his tool to unlock the car pulled too hard, so the handle fell off, but he said the company would reimburse me, and they'll call me when they're ready to give me the replacement, which I appreciate. My car is old, so I understand if some things break. All in all, better experience. This service was around 1:30 p.m. on December 7, 2018. ___________________________ 2 STARS +1 star = for picking up the phone +1 star = unlocking my car - 1 star = deleting my information after misunderstanding me on the phone without asking for clarification, being unprofessional and being on the phone before I could pay, making me wait - 1 star = making me wait 1.5 hours in the cold after giving me a 30 - 40 minute time frame - 1 star = having my phone number but never following up with me for the status or reason of being late without ME having to call Detailed Account: Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience. I got locked out of my car, and I called the phone number, and the guy who answered deleted my information after he asked me where I was, and I explained my location (I'm cat sitting for some people, so I don't own the residence that I am located at, but I needed just MY CAR to be open, and I started off the entire phone call with "Hi. I locked myself out of my car." So I know I was being clear enough ). Instead of asking for clarification, he said "we don't do that. Won't go in unless you're the primary residence owner, and we need a written note.", and I had to explain to him again all that I needed, and then once he realized, he said "what's your last name again? I deleted it." He also asked for where I was again. It's very interesting that a call operator is so conclusive and quick to delete your information and think you're not being credible. He said it was a 30 to 40 minute wait. I waited for almost hour and 30 minutes (I timed it on my watch. So whatever time they claim it took them for GPD is wrong because I made sure to document myself). I had to call them again and I got a girl, and I asked for a status update 50 minutes in. She said the guy was working with another job and he was on his way. They have my phone number. It's courtesy to tell someone that you're going to be waiting outside of the time frame that was given. I had work in an hour and said I would be an hour late. Turns out I would be 2 hours late. AND IT was cold. A guy named Bob finally came and then unlocked the car. I asked how much I should pay him twice before he answered ($55) while not looking at me while on his phone. I just stood there and I could squeeze in "Do you take card" while he nodded while still on the phone, and I had my card out stretched, wondering while he won't take it. I started at my Honda name plate for a bit while he talked to whoever he was talking to, and finally, he gestured for me to give him the card and he read out my credit card information OUT LOUD in a parking lot without warning me. I heard him say "Internet won't connect" to the guy on the phone and "already?". Evidently, he was telling the person on the phone that the card reader was not working, without telling me, the person paying? This was heavily unprofessional and not right! Either way, BAD BAD experience. I know you guys have given good experiences to others before. But EVERYTHING down to the phone call and ending with the service was wrong for me. Something needs to be changed. My service was on a Monday in the afternoon.

Yesterday I accidentally locked my keys in my car. Not only that, but also nine bags of ice I had just purchased for my cousin Efran's Bar Mitzvah! Efran was SO excited about becoming a "man" and I was worried I wouldn't have ice for the party and I would ruin everything. One call to Pensacola Lock and Safe and I was back on my way. He said it was a 30 to 40 minute wait. I waited for almost hour and 30 minutes (I timed it on my watch. So whatever time they claim it took them for GPD is wrong because I made sure to document myself). I had to call them again and I got a girl, and I asked for a status update 50 minutes in. She said the guy was working with another job and he was on his way. They have my phone number. It's courtesy to tell someone that you're going to be waiting outside of the time frame that was given. I had work in an hour and said I would be an hour late. Turns out I would be 2 hours late. AND IT was cold. A guy named Bob finally came and then unlocked the car. I asked how much I should pay him twice before he answered ($55) while not looking at me while on his phone. I just stood there and I could squeeze in "Do you take card" while he nodded while still on the phone, and I had my card out stretched, wondering while he won't take it. I started at my Honda name plate for a bit while he talked to whoever he was talking to, and finally, he gestured for me to give him the card and he read out my credit card information OUT LOUD in a parking lot without warning me. I heard him say "Internet won't connect" to the guy on the phone and "already?". Evidently, he was telling the person on the phone that the card reader was not working, without telling me, the person paying? This was heavily unprofessional and not right! Either way, BAD BAD experience. I know you guys have given good experiences to others before. But EVERYTHING down to the phone call and ending with the service was wrong for me. Something needs to be changed. My service was on a Monday in the afternoon.

But he looked the key code from the maker. He decided to see if he could find the correct blank. It took a couple of tries, but found the correct blank that opened the box. Even though it was closing time for the store he took the time to help me which allowed me to leave with keys for the security box and not having to come back.
