I replaced the fob cover on my daughter's Jeep and needed the key portion cut on the new fobs. I called Father and Son and was told I can come right over. Keys were cut in less than 5 minutes. Not long ago, my toddler attempted to give me a heart attack by locking herself in the car, seconds after having buckled her into her seat, and closed the door. My husband and I frantically tried numerous attempts to get inside our vehicle. After 40 minutes had past, and she had since dropped her bunny, her blankie, and cup, she was screaming, my husband was fuming, and I was hysterical. He threatened to break a window, but the glass concerned me. Fast forward to one of many freak blizzards 3 weeks later, he hit a telephone pole from the side, in that very same vehicle, which was full of glass from windows no where near her car-seat; so we had in fact made a good judgement. Anywho, he'd tried the traditional wire clothing hangers solution (for older vehicles), a sword (stronger), climbing on top of the car clawing at the sunroof, running in and out of the garage for invented notions to penetrate our vehicle, and hollering at our kid to hit the button again. Meanwhile, I'm hollering at him to call someone, please, just call someone. He gives up and quick plugs "locksmith" into the search bar in his phone, and this business pops up. He dials, has a brief conversation, and relates to me that the gentleman he spoke to will be right over. I grill him on what "right over" means exactly. As it turns out, it means less than 15 minutes. The young man who pulls up behind us in the driveway steps out of his vehicle, and looks at our spectacle of a situation; it speaks for itself. He quickly makes his way over the the driver's side door, and pops it open in less than 30 seconds. I'm relieved and embarrassed. Of course I feel like an idiot. I immediately scoop up my screaming child and leave the scene, saying thank you over and over, red in the face. My husband comes back in house about 15 minutes later. I quiz him on the payment and process of. I'm floored when he tells me "nothing". What??? Apparently, the guy said he was already in the area, he has children as well, it's happened to him, and he wasn't going to take advantage of us. Wow. I asked if my husband at least offered the locksmith gas money, $20, something. He confirms, yes he did, no he would not accept. This locksmith as far as I'm concerned is a local hero. I know the SUV wasn't on fire and dangling on the edge of a cliff, but as a mother, not being able to reach your hysterical child is upsetting and disturbing; absolute torture. As it turned out, in aforementioned blizzard, weeks later, that vehicle was totaled, right before a tree came down on the back of our house in the same week. This wonderful man saved us hundreds in paying him or a broken window that we would have otherwise replaced, only to have an unused vehicle not long after. It's not simply the savings either, but the funds then available for a new vehicle, and massive deductible to our home owner's insurance. Life happens, and that's how this great person responded to our catastrophe in stride. I'm grateful and impressed by that kind of compassion. It's rare to find these days.

Today we locked ourselves out of our new home in Oley Pa which is about a 40 minute drive from Royersford. After trying unsuccessfully to find a local locksmith we saw Father and Sons through a Google search and thought well it would be a drive for them but who knows they might cover Oley. So we called and they answered right away and arrived at our home within 90 minutes! He quickly unlocked the door. I highly recommend this company. Very friendly prompt reasonably priced locksmith. I was able to buy keys on amazon but after asking many locksmiths in the area to cut and program it, no one would touch it! Quick, easy and affordable service for my Chrysler's keyless ignition system. He happened to be in the neighborhood when I called and immediately offered to stop by. He went to several extra lengths to get a cheap replacement key added (love this because the dealers and other places won't bother with "knockoff" stuff you buy online) and pulled out everything in his toolbox on the spot. Kind, understanding and happy to share the process with you. The world needs more businesses like this! P.S--spoiler: The only negative review is from a rude, unfortunate person who A: didn't even obtain services from this company, and B: doesn't understand how patronizing a business works.
