I accidentally locked myself out of my house this evening. I called Certified Lock, just randomly found them on Google, and the gentleman was at my house in 30 minutes and had my door open in about 90 seconds. I also felt he was affordably priced. 5 stars all the way!

I was very happy with the work on my the tech did a wonderful job and cleaned up afterward and very reasonable and so help and explained everything he was. I will be calling him soon to do more locks. BC Glenmoore PA

I found this company after using a google search for a locksmith. I called and inquired about the process of getting my locks changed at my home. The receptionist was very helpful in explaining. I told her that I needed my locks changed ASAP due to a domestic situation. She put me on hold and asked the owner if it could be done now. She said that their availability was 1 week from the date that I called. We ended our conversation with me telling her that I was going to continue to call around because I could not wait 1 week. My next phone call to another locksmith had a date to complete the job the following day. I completely forgot about the entire process after my locks were changed and I had been traveling out of state for work. Approximately 1 month later, I received a bill from Certified Lock and Access. They said that I confirmed an appointment and was not available when they arrived. Although no locks were changed, I was being charged for the no show service call. I immediately called to rectify the situation. I spoke to the owner. I offered to come to a mutual agreement. He did not want to discuss this or hear my side of the story. It was $60 service call. He ended the conversation as “ see you in court” I reminded him that there was never a confirmation of service or agreement of what was to be done. I was shocked because the invoice described a contract. I called an attorney and forwarded the invoice. He said that I was absolutely not obligated to pay that fee, but court costs and time are way more than $60. He suggested a call and letter to rectify. I called an no one remembered me so I had a letter drafted and sent it certified in early May. No response. I received another past due invoice with a sticky note attached signed by Sheila on 7/31/2018. Called the office to inquire. They stated that she doesn’t work there and they would help me. I gave my invoice number and the woman in the phone replied, “oh. I remember this now. You owe the balance.” $60 is nothing, but respect and good business is something that is earned. Luckily, this is my first bad experience and I hope it is my last.

I locked my keys in my car which happened to be on the same street. Initially they didn't have anyone to come out and assist. The woman answering the phone called me back and said she had someone and would send him immediately. I wish i remembered his name but he was so nice and got my car open. Thank you thank you!

I had my locks re-keyed, ran to the store and when I came back I couldn't get in my house. I had to wait almost two hours for Steve to come back and try to fix the problem. (Take note that he is their ONLY technician!) After taking the deadbolt apart and putting it back together 3 times he stated that it was shot and needed to be replaced. "It just happens with these Quickset locks." He stated that he would have to overnight order a new one because he didn't have any in stock, but that he'd take care of it. An entire week went by before and I finally called to see what was happening. The secretary was confused and said that the job had already been invoiced. "Did we not finish?" Deep breaths on my end! When I gave my address and said I was the customer whose lock didn't work a half hour after re-keying and that I felt pretty sure she should remember me since it was her who took my distress call, she suddenly remembered, put me on hold and came back on the line saying they'd be out the following day between 10-11. I asked for an earlier appointment since I work midnights, but 10-11 was my only choice. I stated that I couldn't help but wonder WHEN anyone from the company would have gotten around to calling me, since a week had passed and I had to follow up with them! I even gave them the benefit of the doubt over the weekend and finally had to take action on Wednesday, a full week later. I would not recommend this company to anyone, ever. Customer service is obviously not their forte.
