Buyer beware! Absolutely horrible experience. We hired them to come out and repair our main warehouse door's lock. They charged us $325 to fix the lock (which amounted to him replacing a screw - which WE provided), and we were told that this wasn't a permanent solution - and that we would need to replace the lock mechanism at a later date. Several weeks later the door stopped working properly. We contacted the locksmith.. thinking that this must be some sort of mistake.. and expected him to stand behind his work - unfortunately, he did not. He stated that he'd be willing to come out and "fix" it again temporarily, but he'd have to charge us another $325 - because of his "expertise". We told him that was ridiculous.. so his then proposed solution was to replace the inner parts of the door (which is a 20 yr old door), and it'd cost us "only" $3,000... (yes $3,000!!!!) however... he'd deduct the $325 (previous bill) from the new $3,000 bill. We told him this was unacceptable.. and he said that's our only option.. and said we'd never get a refund. I told him we're going to dispute the charge with our credit card company.. and he laughed and said good luck. I'd also like to mention that he referred to my female warehouse manager (who was his point of contact) as my "underling".. in a very derogatory tone. Lastly.. we contacted American Best Locksmith.. expecting them to make this right.. since it can't be possible that they'd be okay with someone like this representing their company. The manager told us that they wouldn't refund the money.. and told us "go ahead and dispute the charge" in a very rude tone.

Buyer beware! Absolutely horrible experience. We hired them to come out and repair our main warehouse door's lock. They charged us $325 to fix the lock (which amounted to him replacing a screw - which WE provided), and we were told that this wasn't a permanent solution - and that we would need to replace the lock mechanism at a later date. Several weeks later the door stopped working properly. We contacted the locksmith.. thinking that this must be some sort of mistake.. and expected him to stand behind his work - unfortunately, he did not. He stated that he'd be willing to come out and "fix" it again temporarily, but he'd have to charge us another $325 - because of his "expertise". We told him that was ridiculous.. so his then proposed solution was to replace the inner parts of the door (which is a 20 yr old door), and it'd cost us "only" $3,000... (yes $3,000!!!!) however... he'd deduct the $325 (previous bill) from the new $3,000 bill. We told him this was unacceptable.. and he said that's our only option.. and said we'd never get a refund. I told him we're going to dispute the charge with our credit card company.. and he laughed and said good luck. I'd also like to mention that he referred to my female warehouse manager (who was his point of contact) as my "underling".. in a very derogatory tone. Lastly.. we contacted American Best Locksmith.. expecting them to make this right.. since it can't be possible that they'd be okay with someone like this representing their company. The manager told us that they wouldn't refund the money.. and told us "go ahead and dispute the charge" in a very rude tone.

My mother recently lost her keys, and she went to American best lock smith to get her car key replaced. While there she was given a rather "unsatisfactory" and quiet frank a rude and just plain awful experience. My mother nows little about keys and was quoted by her dispatcher one price and when the technician arived she was giving a completely new number that doubled the price . When my mother called the dispatch back she asked why the number doubled and was given the response " I'm just a dispatcher, I don't know prices" I don't know why the dispatcher would even quote the price over the phone if he didn't know what the actual price would be, and the fact that the technician didn't honor what the dispatcher said just shows poor customer service. Also my mother was given a key that doesn't even unlock her car, it just disappoints me that a company with "best" in there name you think to get that out of not only there technicians but the dispatchers, this is nothing but disappointment.

I lost both my keys and fob to my 2014 Kia Sorento on yesterday, I immediately called Kia only to get the runaround and a crazy price on a replacement set. The turnersville Kia parts department recommended me to a local locksmith near my home. The locksmith charged us $180.00 for two keys which we came from New Jersey to philly and the keys wouldn't work twice. The lousy locksmith Kia recommended would not even refund our monies back for a losey job. His excuse was Kia gave him the wrong code. Listen up, I called three locksmiths today and they were horrible and not that friendly. But Mike(owner) from American Best Locksmith was "ALL That and A bag of chips" we talked over the cellphone and I received a very warm customer greeting, honestly and service with s smile! Mike cut me a perfect key and ordered me a Kia fob with the hard key coming in the mail on next week. I am going to recommend America Best Locksmith company to my company and a few automotive shops in the area. Again Mike, I'm also going to recommend your service to Kia where they could not get it right. And we're in the process of purchasing another Kia Sorento- it probably won't be from Turnersville Kia. rude as all hell, and definitely not the cheapest. response: yes unfortunately, he felt that since I had called the night prior to get an estimate, I couldn't call again the following day to recheck... I've been working extremely long hours , and taking care of a grandmother suffering from dementia primarily on my own... she locked herself out of her bedroom 2 days back to back, he seemingly doubted the authenticity of my call/inquiry, you can ask him yourself, doubt he'd deny it. He was questioning who I got to service me the night prior, and why I didn't just go back to them. Extremely arrogant, and condescending... I guess since I didn't do business with him on the initial call, I was now disqualified from ever calling back again for potential service? He basically told me to kick rocks, dismissed me. And it was Alpha Wolf Security who ended up serving me the initial night by the way, I have the receipt as well, in case he was still wondering. Happy holidays.

I have utilized the services of this company for 2+ years. They were the cheapest out there as I was quoted competitve numbers for creating a master key system and re keying cylinders. Their services were utilized on a consistent basis for 2+ years and we were often attended to within 24 hours notice, mostly by Mike who was always efficient and did a great job. They recently notified us of a 120% price increase dup to some of the service calls being only a few cylinders. That was fair enough and I could understand that but I requested if they could keep to the originally quoted number for jobs needing 50 cylinders or more re keyed to which they agreed... Then they (and by they i mean the owner or supervisor Mir) backed out on their agreement and decided a 120% price increase was needed no matter what; even if they were given a bulk job at one site of 50 cylinders. I have no problem with a company turning away work if the numbers are not right but don't agree to something and then back out on a whim. Make sure you're quoted in writing by this company because there word is no good!
