i lost the keys to my Mercedes. Every locksmith company I called told me i had to get it towed to the dealer. Let me tell you, it was last friday afternoon at Jones beach in. We drove from Arizona to visit family here for the month. We were due to leave on Saturday. I called Top Lock, the dispatcher connected me to a man named Ricky. Ricky assured me that he can make the key to my 2013 Mercedes. RIcky arrived arrived within 40 minutes. The process to make the key took about an hour and 30 minutes. but he said that is common with Mercedes. If i would have had to take the car to the dealer, I would not have been able to leave back to Arizona the following day. They even gave me a 2nd key and a very good price. I am very happy with the service and I cant thank them enough. If i lived in New York, they would be my go to locksmith. Thank you!

I called Top Lock when I got home from work Thursday night at around 8 PM. Most other locksmiths that I called were already closed for day. I set up an appointment to have all the locks on my house re-keyed. I was quoted what I considered to be a fair price, and my appointment was set for 9 AM the following morning. A gentleman called me in the morning to verify my appointment time and the locksmith arrived on time. The locksmith Ricky couldn't have been nicer and the service was completed within a half hour. Firstly, I'm not the type of person to go out of my way to leave a negative review. I called them, they told me I can come in to have my key programmed to the car. I called to make sure if I need an appointment or if now is an okay time to get the job done. I arrive and after some confusion they tell me the person that could do the job left on a call. --- this was fine as things happen. They told me to make up for it, they would just send a tech later to my residence to do the job at same rate as in store. Which I accepted. - I receive no call regarding someone coming to my residence to do the job. I call them later on the same day AND the next day, they take my phone number for a second/third time. It's been 4 days and yet no one bothered. I really hate to do this, but this was not courteous of them as a business and I had already lost about 45 min of driving in my first trip of being told to come in and then being informed sorry the person left for another job despite being told I'm coming. I wish the business had lived up to their word of getting the job done, but NO. They had 3 chances to get the job done, but they were unprofessional. Really disappointed as this business had great reviews.

I love TOP LOCK. I call them from a neighbor's house telling them I locked myself out of my house taking out the garbage and my mother who has dementia was in the house. she was actually in an unsafe position for being alone that long. She was in that position only because I was right there with her which was OK because I'm watching her, But... I ran out to take the garbage and without thinking, locked the door. I was freaking out !! TOP LOCK got here FAST. Not only did they get here fast, Matt was so sweet, while he was trying to unlock my door, he was helping me, calm down, not to worry, don't worry he said, its almost open. First matt came to my shop in Uniondale to make me a key for a truck that we had no key for that particular day. It was an urgent situation and it was taken care of immediately. I called Toplock when my wife "misplaced" the only set of keys that we had to our SUV, which happened to be locked with our suitcases in it, and MY WIFE WENT INTO LABOR!!!! I just would like to say Matt and his team at Top Lock Locksmiths truly went above and beyond with the locksmith and security services they provided me last week. My company just bought an industrial building right off of rt 110 in farmingdale. When the lady on the phone said they were a one stop shop, she really meant it. They handled all of the locks, cameras, alarm system, and fob system. We have 15 offices and the previous owner didn’t five us any keys to the locks. I had 2 other companies come in and say they needed to replace all 15 levers. When matt did the estimate, he said that the levers could actually be rekeyed and that would be much less expensive. They ended up rekeying the 15 door locks. I have one key that will open all locks, and each office is keyed individually. The alarm system is $29 dollars less a month than ADT and $15 dollars less a month than slomans. We now can enter the building by scanning a fob. They also did a wonderful job with my cameras. They were neat and professional. I will recommend Top Lock Locksmiths. Thank you.

Needed a special key made from a blank that I already had and needed a real locksmith. Went to their store front since I live in town and was told they are not in, all out on jobs. No problem, the guy gave me a card and told me to call back before I came. Called the next afternoon and was told they are busy again but I could send the locksmith a picture via text and he would let me know if he could do it. Ok sure, I sent the picture and wrote thank you for taking a look. I was told I would get a call back in about 15 min. Almost 2 hrs later no call back. Called again and was told sorry he was busy but he will call back right now. Well its the next day and no call. I guess I will find another place then but its hard to find a good rated locksmith who is near by.

Matthew came out to both locations in the same day and gave me quotes for each right on the spot. Called this place because of the good reviews but my experience was horrible. I called because I locked my keys in the car and was told someone would be there within the hour. An hour later I called again (freezing outside) and was told 10 more minutes. I called 30 minutes later and was told 5 more minutes! Finally after 2 hours of waiting the guy arrived and told me he just got the call 10 minutes earlier. Nobody EVER apologized or cared. I paid $82 for lies and 30 seconds of service. Horrible horrible company! I was only 1.2 miles away from this place.

After spending four and a half hours (unsuccessfully) searching for a dealer or locksmith that could make me a duplicate key and fob, I luckily called and found Top Lock. Every dealer and locksmith wanted well over two hundred and fifty dollars for a simple key and fob. They all had angles that did not become clear until you got close to paying: this separate, that as a combined price, mileage charges, programming extra. They were all money hungry weasels. What a pleasure to deal with straight shooters, who listened to what I needed and then gave me pricing that was less than half of what the thieves had been offering. The crew, starting with Matt on down, were courteous, professional and competent. I drove to them (they would have come to me) because I could (just needed a second set) and was amazed to find out that the procedure took all of four minutes to complete after having been led to believe it would take hours at the dealer’s sites. I highly recommend Top Lock if you ever get into a jam with your car keys – any situation will be addressed quickly and resolved for a very fair price by a great staff.
