Called Lockmasters Locksmith to explain my situation and they gave me a quote and a time estimate. Within 10 minutes, tech came to my office and started working on getting the door unlocked. Due to the specific type of lock he had to go back to his car to get a special tool. With that, he got the job done in under 2 minutes. Lockmasters Locksmith and Nathan were very professional, polite, and courteous. Treat them with respect and you'll get fast + high quality service. Thanks guys!

Locked myself out of my apartment late on a Friday night and called and was quoted $120. Locksmith came and said $150 and that he had to drill out the lock and charge $185 for it. Was quoted $120 and ended up paying $400 with the service fee because I was desperate and my phone was dead. These are deceptive practices and I would never call them again.

This place is an absolute scam. They told me it would be $85 and when the locksmith came he opened the door in less than 1 minute with a piece of cardboard and charged me $150 plu tax. He was also 50 minutes later than what he promised. DON'T USE THEM.

Never got ripped off so hard before! I got stuck out of my apartment and the door was unlocked, just shut (can't open it from the hallway). I called the guy and he came over and quoted me 250$ to open the (unlocked!) door. My research showed that most locksmiths charge between 25-100$ to open a door, but I was desperately stuck out and they are the only ones who picked up the phone. I asked him if that's the full price, and whether he is going to need to change the lock. He assured me that the lock does not need to be changed. Once he opened the door, he said, "Now the lock won't work, if you want it to work, I need to change the cylinder" and charged me another 100$ for the cylinder (Well... he technically really didn't need to change the lock, but... I guess I should have known to ask about the "cylinder", which by the way most locksmiths quote 5-25$ not 100$). So while he assured me the price is guaranteed to be 250$, it magically turned into 350$ and when I reluctantly pulled my wallet to pay he said that it's going to be an additional 50$ for sales tax. The guy charged me 400$ for opening an unlocked door. I never felt so ripped off in my life. More info still: I called the company, they said they'll call me back. They didn't. So I called again. They said it'll be 20 minutes. Once 20 minutes passed I called, and they told me it's gonna be another 25 minutes. Once those 25 minutes passed, they told me they're looking for parking. 20 minutes after that they finally showed up. Also, when I called, they assured me they are charging me the daytime rate, but once I went on to pay the guy said it's late and that he's actually gonna charge me the night rate. Also, on the phone the assured me that they accept credit cards, but when I asked to pay with a card at the end of the job (that lasted 5 minutes), the guy told me "cash only". Eventually they did accept my credit card.
