This corporation literally robbed my grandmother. The manager told my grandma to come at 12:00 and made her wait 40 minutes in the parking lot. When the person came it was not who she had spoken to. He got in my grandmothers car tried her key and it didn’t work. He told her that he would be right back. Didn’t say why or explain what he was doing. She assumed he was going in to get something to pick the lock. When he came back he made a key without informing her, he tried it and it worked. He then turned to my grandmother in her car and told her that she owed him $95 .... how intimidating he was to sit next to her. She said but you didn’t tell me what you were doing I don’t have 95$ on me. The man said well you have a credit card ...I did a service. A service? He went in the car for one minute, tried her key and left without saying a word. Awful, that is not how anyone should conduct business. You tell someone what you are doing before you do it. You tell them upfront what it will cost. This business took advantage of an old lady. They should be ashamed. Do not go here ever. They rip people off. There is no other explaination for what occurred. In the phone call she made to the company and in the conversation she had with the employee no one mentioned any cost of labor or asked if she even wanted a key made which she did not. He spent no time with her other than wiggling a key for a minute and taking her key without her knowledge of the “service” he took it upon himself to do. I just read on their website that consultations and estimates are FREE. So they are liars! I don’t know how that man sleeps at night. Communication is key, she should have had the choice. She went to places twice prior to this location that did the same thing, “giggling the key” gave her a price and she left. This location did something without permission but worse of all a man sat next to my grandma instead of standing outside the car and told her she’s owed him money. That should be illegal. He should have stood outside the car and handed her the key to try. Not go back next to her in the car and put your hand out for money. Update: we informed the manager of what happened and he gave her $20 back... but in my opinion it still doesn’t make up for the position the company put her in.
