Looks like the owner of this business is trying to artificially inflate his rating by using fake profiles to write generic reviews. DON'T USE THIS LOCKSMITH! The locksmith was very courteous and seemed professional. However, after he was unable to pick the lock he then proceeded to break it. At the time I thought this was understandable, since that was the only other option available. However, I was charged $250 + $20 service fee just for him to drill a hole in my lock. In addition, he didn't remove the remnants of the lock. That is only done if you purchase an $80 lock replacement. That's just ridiculous. I consulted some other locksmiths and they determined the lock was rather simple to pick and breaking it was an extreme measure. I am not sure why the A&T locksmith was unable to pick it, but I don't recommend using this locksmith. Disclaimer: My name isn't the one on the receipt, so hopefully I won't get a comment saying I am not a customer.

Did not try to pick lock, immediately drilled lock which is more expensive. Left my residence with an unsecured door late at night trying to set himself up for another high priced job the next day and to charge me another service charge. Receipt provided has no company details on it and is a UPS Store PO Box. Very Shady. Did not greet me properly or make proper eye contact. This fellow is not an ethical service provider. Stay away!!! The guy the came in was clueless and sloppy. He had no clue how to handle locks. He ended up sanding the threading on the mechanism and put 2 big dents on a $1,200 Baldwin door handle. He pretty much ruined it. He ended jamming the cylinder back in the mechanism and next day the door didn't open. He destroyed the lock. I'm opening a dispute with the credit card company to refund my fees. After that I will taking that bad company to the court of small claims to make them pay for the lock they destroyed.

Heavily overpriced residential service. Serviceman attempted to pick the doorknob lock, claimed he could not, broke the doorknob unit, and replaced it, all for several hundred dollars. Yes, I agreed to his procedures and charges, but I remain convinced the pricing was exorbitant. If I can have a car with a flat tire towed to a repair shop and it's tire replaced---altogether with labor---for cheaper than I can have this residential locksmith service, there's got to be something wrong with the locksmith's price.

They quote prices less than 1/5 of what they expect, they don't know how to use any tools other than scraping the lock's pins and hoping it will open which is the first thing an amateur learns to do by watching a YouTube video. At no point did he actually try to pick the lock. He would have been equally effective witha bobby pin. Then they try to charge $500 to do nothing. Total scam.

Giving one star because there is no option of zero. Ask service rates upfront and get them in writing as well. Horrible experience, quoted $200 for opening a lock and then charged $300 (with a reason that quote was 300 and not 200). Broke the lock did not remove the remnants mentioning that as separate service. Total time taken for job-15 mins. Not sure if the business is BBB accredited and the receipt provided doesn't have business name. Looking into the matter further but just a word of advice be careful if you deal with this business.

My tenant locked herself out of the bedroom at 6 am, asked this guy to come open it. I agree that it is outside normal hours and the $250 minimum is high but acceptable. But when he got there, he jacked up the price to $400 for breaking a simple bedroom tumbler lock. He took advantage of the young naive girl who knew nothing about contractors and was in a rush to get to work. When I later called him to explain how he justified the extra $150 for such a simple job, he offered nothing but yelling at me. That's how coward responds to questioning. You should feel ashamed of yourself for taking advantage of a young lady in a difficult situation.
