I called to have a new key fob (push button start type fob) made for my Nissan sentra. Initially I called another locksmith and they told me that the only company that they knew of in the area that could help was Alan's/keys r us. I previously called the dealership for a price quote and the guy I spoke with at Alan's quoted me half the price of the dealer (hundreds of dollars cheaper... not including the cost of towing the car to the dealer). When a competitor respects you enough to recommend your company, it speaks volumes about your reputation. (It also doesn't hurt that it was much cheaper than the dealer)

Recently had the opportunity to partake and Alan's services. Even though I had my own key and vehicle fob, (which needed to be programed). Alan's professional staff was extremely helpful and performed the tast within 15 minutes of my arrival. The reasonable cost in time it took far exceeded what I hoped. I have a Volkswagen GTI VR 6. I tried to change my flip keys housing on my own....yes as you know this story is going bad. I tried to start car and it would start then cut right off.. and i did this multiple times. I called dealership after dealership and they all told me ...well you need bring car and key in so we can reprogram all of it.....cost was close to 200. Well I called these people and they told me off hand exactly what to do ...when finished i asked will this fix my car? ....well he told me over the phone what and how to do and it less then 2 hours my car was up and running...this guy wouldn't even take cash....such a smart and wonderful business to deal with.

No one is tending to the store. I called and was told they were open and someone would be there in 10 mins. I wait more than twice that, no person showed and they stopped answering the phone. Completely unprofessional and huge waste of time

They came right on time very prepared and had me on my way in 15 minutes or less. Charged a very fair price 125% less than the other guy. Offered me an additional discount if I wanted a spare key made. Couldn't have had a better experience! Thanks Carlos and your friend whose name I forgot!!

Great experience! Needed a duplicate key for my 14' Ford Focus, dealership wanted to charge me $230 for the key and an extra $70 to program it. Called allen's and they quoted me less then half! Took care me even after the store closed and was able to get what I needed, Took about 20 Minutes and I was on my way. Great staff, would recommend anyone who needs extra car keys!

My son broke the only key to his car.I spent the whole day trying to get the key code for the car. This should be a simple process. Well after speaking with dealers including the original dealer. GMC could not help. They would happily tow the car to the dealership and replace the ignition cylinder. Parts,labor,tow over $500. I had also called AAA who then referred me to Allan's Locksmith. Im a construction supervisor and have worked with trades for about 30 years including locksmiths. So all my hope was on Allen's Locksmith to bail me out. Well Allen's Locksmith and who gets out? Allen! Why am I so happy. He looked like just the guy to help me. I needed a first class locksmith. I guessed a locksmith would have to go "Old School "and make a new key by hand with only a rat file. Allen set out to impression the key for about 20 minutes. Meticulously filing notches into a blank key Then he hands a key to my son and says" Try it". My son says" OMG this key works better then the one we had"! I could go on. But with AA and Allen's Locksmith I got out cheap. Total $90. that included a $10 tip. I wont forget Allen's Locksmith as a valuable resource. Oh and Im super dad to my 20 year old son. Thanks Allen

I lost my only key for my car and needed a new one created (just a simple key). I went to the locksmith with my vin # and they were able to cut me a new key and a spare for $50. I'm sure a dealership would have cost more and the service was good. No complaints. I would go here in the future if need be
