This place is not open 24hours. I'm outside the shop and it's closed. The shop does have a number listed outside and a gentleman answered. He said he's open from 10 - 7p but it's 634p and the shop is closed - go figure.

I have gone to this business multiple times and they have had outstanding service. The people working in the store are very kind, helpful, and most importantly very knowledgable in locksmithing. I have also called them for roadside service and in home service and there general time to arrival is 30 minutes but they have always arrived well before 30 minutes and in a very proffesional manner. So I've been here about twice. The first time was to replace a car key that broke at the point where the key ring normally goes. I get there show one of the guys my problem, and the first thing he told me was that my key was worn down. After stating that he kind of just went ahead made a copy, handed it me and told me if the key didn't work to just come and park the car in front and they would do further work. After testing it and all the key worked and I went on my merry was. However, after the first day my I had trouble locking my trunk, and only the trunk, everything else worked out fine. Anyways in my attempt to lock the trunk I kind of forced the key and slightly bent it in the process. It still worked, but I knew that I may have some troubles in the future. So about a week later I stumbled in see if I could remedy the situation. Upon entering the shop I am helped by a different guy. I told him I was looking to copy my car key again and see if there was a stronger key. I also mention my trouble with locking my trunk. So he takes a look at my key and mentions the same thing the other guy had told me about my key being worn down, he then goes on to further explain that it can cause a lot of problems in my car and that it was also the reason why my trunk was not locking. He also tells me that he can pull up the original blueprint of the design of my key and make an exact copy of the original key before it was worn down. I agree to give him the info needed to aquire that information, he makes me three copies of my key and tests each one on my car to make sure the work. And well, I have to admit, I was extremely satisfied. I picked up a business card or two, asked him how far they travel to do locksmith work (he said from anywhere between Pasadena and long Beach) and paid the guy (which was reasonable priced for the work he did). Anyways, they know what they are doing and I think they are fairly priced. I am giving them 4 stars because the first guy didn't fully explain about the worn down key, which made me come back again. But to be honest, I really enjoyed my second visit and I think that really makes up for it.

They were unable to provide me the service I needed. I even tried to call AAA to get a discount and I found out that they lied to the assistant from AAA and said that the part was damaged. Never Again REPLY: The issue from my faulty ignition was resolved this morning by a professional certified locksmith willing to accept my cash money. Please don't lie to yourself nor to AAA. Thank you for your help

Ali is a lifesaver I happen too drive by on a Sunday and the shop was closed , I called and he answered , said his guy was out possibly on a call and he would call me back . He did I was so relieved due too the fact I had a key In my ignition that was broken off and I had no way off turning my car off and was about too run out of gas . Victor opened shop and was able too get us a key till what I needed came in on Tuesday . Thanks again American Lock & Safe for you honesty and reliability . I highly recommend

Have you ever been locked out of your car, or lost your keys? In the evening??? Well I did... I was calling different places and everyone was charging overboard until I finally found American Lock & Safe. ALI who answered the phone was very helpful and friendly. He coordinated his driver VICTOR to come out top my job and program the key to my vehicle all in under 1hr. Keep in mind this was after 7:00pm. If I ever do (hopefully I don't -- no hard feelings --) need key service I know who to call. Prices are also very reasonable.

I so I’m not the only that has a complaint about their drivers! But seriously if this is how you conduct business it’s a shame. Your driver literally cut my off and almost hit me! I honked at him cause I wasn’t to sure if he didn’t see me and then he flips me off and tells me off! Such a shame that you have someone like that working for you! Seriously check your drivers record because trying to run someone over and the other recklessly driving makes your business sound awful! I wouldn’t step foot or recommended anyone to do business here!

1/27/2016 @ aprox 3:51pm a driver from American Lock & Safe was driving like a maniac and at a high rate of speed passed me to pass everyone on the right where Whittier Blvd looses one lane. Then this driver proceeded to enter the the northbound 605 driving to fast and then hit his brakes to keep from hitting a pedestrian crossing the on ramp! This guy is a maniac!

Counterman took 20 minutes looking for a part I lost from a cabinet lock. He found something that would work, cut me two keys and when I tried to pay with a credit card, he said cash only and gave everything to me for free. With service like that, I'll be back but I'll pay!!!

Today we are leaving San Francisco. Five Emerald was supposed to pick us up in Half Moon Bay at 10am for a ride to the airport. Through a communications glitch they had 10pm. At 1030 we called, sussed out .the error and started sweating. At 1105 Larry arrived and 30 minutes later we were at the airport in plenty of time for our flight. Larry was a fun guy to talk to and the ride was excellent. Thanks Five Emerald Limousine!
