If i could give Anthony 10 stars i would! My family and i were stuck at the Ontario mills mall with no keys to our car. Anthony came out within 30 minutes and made a key and programmed it super fast. Great prices and great service. Would definitely use again.

I called American Lock & Key, Rancho Cucamonga to get a quote for a replacement key for my daughter's 2000 Mercedes E430. For those who don't know, this is a key that most sources say "dealer only". And it takes two days and the car has to be there to pickup. I could not wait two days, and could not get the car there without towing, which would have added to the expense. I called Anthony at 9am. He said he could be there between 11am and 1pm. He arrived right at 11am. He said it will take one hour to complete the work, and that is how long it took. And I now have a shiny new working key. I can't say enough about how happy I was to get it done same day, in the timeframe quoted, and at a good price. And from a nice guy. Thanks again Anthony!

I was out inspecting my property on Monday , 9/11, after Hurricane Irma went through and forgot that I had the front door handle locked (normally only use the dead bolt!). The Association President recommended American Lock & Key. Got through to Jeff, the Owner. After checking if it was OK for him to be safely out on the roads, he was at my door within the hour and unlocked my door. I could not be more happy with the service as he empathized with the situation and charged me the normal flat rate - this after a Category 2 hurricane went through SW Florida less than 12 hours earlier!

Jeff understood the problem. Asked excellent questions before coming out so he would have the right front door lock on the truck. As it was a very old, high quality lock , rather than replacing it with one of lesser quality he spent time repairing it. After my last experience with Jeff, I wanted to do a review telling anyone that is looking for this service, Jeff is the right way to go. I just read those one stars both written on the same day. I would tell you, that's not Jeff. My guess is, it's a competitor trying to hurt Jeff. He is polite thinking it is a mistake, ...if I had bad service and someone reached out to me like Jeff did, I would at least take the incorrect reviews down after making things right...but they did not. It's a competitor disparaging a good man.

I needed a duplicate key made for my car (2016 Chevy Sonic). I called around and I found Jeff and American Lock and Key in Bradenton. The Dealership wanted $$$ and American Lock and Key was a lot less. Jeff took the time to properly program my key to my car. He also made sure that all of the functions work properly (Lock/Unlock, Alarm, and Remote Start). During my short visit, another customer dropped off a set of door locks that needed to be re-keyed. They had the re-keying and made some extra copies very fast. Seeing that and the quality of their work on my own vehicle shows me why you go to a great locksmith!! They know what they are doing, and can do it quicker and cheaper than a dealership.

After calling several times to get an appointment, the owner finally came out to look at the lock we needed help with. He said he had to order a part. We then had to chase him by phone several times after that to get an appointment to have him install the part. Today was the day of the appointment. He did not show up, did not call to cancel, and his answering machine at the office is full. I am finding another locksmith!

The owner can do anything. I had a bad Schlage keyless lock that would not stay locked. He spent an hour on Thanksgiving day working with the lock and finally found that the problem was in the microswitch. I had another plate for another lock and changed it out and now the lock works. I tried calling Schlage's 888 number and got a recording. I have sent them an e.mail and still have heard nothing. Thank you American Lock and Key.
