Randy first went above & beyond helping me with a broken mailbox lock in 2014. Locking myself out of a friend’s house late at night they answered immediately & were on their way within minutes. Needing advice & install on self locking digital deadbolts (wifi compatible!), Randy again in 2018 gave me answers Home Depot could not. I’ve made my neghbors happy recommending them & neither their prices nor their excellent workmanship have changed. Ideal example of why we should all be proud to support small businesses!

I’m glad it was broken because I ended up coming back for the perfect bike for me at a totally fair price. This shop has local charm. I had a sticky lock which we couldn't even unlock so I called these guys. They came over quickly but didn't fix the lock properly, swearing it would work for 6 more months even though I insisted it was still sticking. It stopped working again by the next day. They insisted I pay cash, wanted to charge me $125 for not fixing my lock and I refused. I negotiated them down to $70 because both of us knew I was being ripped off but I felt there was nothing I could do. After calling another locksmith the next day it turns out all I needed was some WD40 in the lock and I can't believe these guys didn't think of that. Totally unreliable, didn't even know the basics of fixing a lock, total rip off job. I will never call them again which is too bad for them because I own 2 houses with multiple locks and would have been a good client for them.

Really good experience, was locked out of my apartment on New Year's Day! Ugh! Need I say I wasn't happy. Called Safeway and they had a tech to my house within 20 minutes and the door was open and I was in my apartment in another 10 minutes. Price was reasonable for that day and it was comparable to other companies I called. They were the quickest to me and very professional. I will definitely use again and recommend Safeway. They saved the day.

Less than useless. I came here at 9pm for an emergency replacement key because Google said they were open until 11. Lo and behold, they close at 7:30. Beware, be warned.

This place saved my life. I had to leave on short notice and had to make a duplicate of my apartment building key (the one where you have to get a card from your landlord that details the key code)... anyway, landlord was completely non-responsive and I had two days to get this key copied. After work (which was around 11:30pm) I would send yelp messages to locksmiths on yelp inquiring whether they can duplicate without a card. It was 11:51 PM when I stumbled upon kings locksmith and saw that they were closing in 9. I called and randy picked up. Super nice guy. I told him my situation. He said to send him pictures of the key and he figured it out right away. The next day I went to the place and had it cut. Randy didn’t overcharge me given how desperate I was. This has been the best customer service experience I have ever had and am sooo grateful to kings locksmith for heir timely and friendly service not to mention... how freaking amazing he was able to crack the “card code” from looking at pictures and that he value customers to reply back within 1 minute and take calls at midnight! Great service! Knowledgeable locksmith. I would highly recommend this place for ANYONE WHO’S LOOKING FOR APARTMENT BUILDING KEY be duplicated or any keys for that matter. RANDY is a key whisperer. Trust in him with your keys.

I work at a nearby business, and we always get our keys made here: they always work in our locks, and the service is so fast! Recently we'd needed some keys made, but the gate was always down at Kings. I was worried they closed, but called the number just in case. I was contacted soon after by Randy, and we set up a time I could come by and get my keys made. He was so friendly and his service was impressive. I found out Kings IS still open, just is focusing on jobs outside of the brick and mortar, and now I know to call ahead. Don't be deterred by the extra step of having to call for your key needs, it's worth it!

These guys are my favorite locksmiths in Brooklyn! As a property manager throughout this area, it’s important for me to trust that the Locksmith’s key copies will work, and that when I send them out for lockouts, they will do a great job and represent my company well. The key copies always work and they’ve been super timely on the handful of lockouts they’ve done for me when my companies 24/7 locksmith have dropped the ball!! Randy is available to about midnight via text. If you call the number listed and can’t get through, you’ll be given the number that you can text! He’s gotten guys out for me within 10 minutes on evenings and weekends! Couldn’t say enough good things! And they’ve got a cool shop cat!

My family and I were traveling for the past 7 hours, we pulled into a gas station, got out of the car, dropped the car key and it split in half. We were panicking, as we’ve already had a horrible day, and someone inside the gas station recommended King’s Locksmith. We called and were greeted by a sweet guy named Dillon, and he showed up within a span of 10 minutes. He got us back on the road within an hour with a reasonable price, and during that waiting time we had a good conversation and he helped make our day better! I would recommend this company to anyone in the area!
