My BF had Bill from Kwikpick rekey his front door this morning while I was there. (The knob and deadbolt used different keys and the bae wanted them to use the same one) Bill was very professional. He didn't ever make me feel like a pest for watching him. He explained a lot about keys and security. He really loves his job. He said he works all over the Valley, son I think I'm going to have him re-key my doors so they all use the same 'master key' (one key for ALL my doors!!!) Bill said he owns the business, and its a one-man operarion. Small businesses always get my business when possible because its like their livelihood and not just a 8-5.

EASTER SUNDAY 2018: My family was locked out of the house. I called at least 6 locksmiths and either I got a no answer or I got (understandably) they were busy with their families. If there is anything I used to hate, it was having a bunch of keys out to everyone and his cousin. My ex-wife made it a habit to give everyone a key ''just in case"". I think she had them made by the dozen. When she finally left, she left her house key, but.... I had Kwik Pick Lock and Safe come out and rekey my house, then fast forward two days later and I come home to find my step sister trying to get into my house with her old key. Having the front door rekeyed meant the dozens of spare keys didn't work anymore. It just goes to show you how easy it is to keep your house secure or not secure with a simple rekey job. I got Bill's number for my brother when he needed a locksmith. I can't tell you why I put his number in my contacts. Less than a month later I locked my keys in my car. He came quickly and got me back on the road in no time. I guess I was so excited to go praise the worship that I left my keys in my van on potluck Sunday. My husband usually reminds me to take my keys, but he was busy toting his famous fried chicken into the fellowship hall kitchen and never said a word. After I dropped him off, I parked and even though I remembered to lock the van up good and tight, I forgot the keys in the ignition. My dear hubby didn't have the spare key. Bill came out and unlocked my van before the potluck food ran out. During the meal, I must have passed out Bill's number to at least twenty people. After all, there's no point in waiting for a deathbed conversion, and there's no point in waiting until you're locked out to have a locksmith's number in your contacts.

My wife and I somehow managed to lock ourselves out of our house and our pups were inside crying for us. We called KwikPick after we had called someone else. The first company was not overly friendly or fast so we called KwikPick. He was super friendly and was to us in less than an hour, (we live pretty far). When I locked my keys in my house, it was 108 degrees! If he hadn't arrived so quickly, I probably would have had heat stroke or something. After he got my door open, I talked options and prices with him, and I think I'm going to go with a keyless entry, just to be on the safe side.
