Not sure how they are still in business. Probably because they rip off their clients to the extent they can’t afford a lawyer to call mariner out on their lies. Making interest go from 26% to 52% when Virginia state law caps out at 35%, having horribly rude people in their office, ladies leaving voicemails of lies and then lying to the judge in court about the problem. Avoid mariner if you want avoid over paying.

They were very unprofessional, we never recieved a single statement, even though my wife and I requested they send them, although they kept sending us advertising on getting a loan. we decided to pay off our debt, they acted as if they did not have a clue, or just did not want us to pay (interest) so they could make more money. .. Poor Customer service

Got a payoff balance and actually overpaid by a little over $200. When we asked about a refund of the overpayment they tried to say the loan accumulated that much interest in like TWO days!! They are a scam!! Stay away!! The interest is ridiculous and when you actually try to pay them off you get screwed again. :(
