I personally love Deseret First and was excited for their new branch. First off, this building has no drive thru, just 2 ATM's. This is the first dip in customer service. Then, when you go inside, there are two random islands and people standing around what they have as the lobby. There is no order and it leaves people feeling confused. I had ask what was going on. HORRIBLE DESIGN. I'm not sure how to pay my bill anymore considering this is the closest one to me and there is no way I'm going to wait an hour in a mixed up line.

This particular location is seriously lacking tellers on Saturday's. One teller is NOT enough and the automated teller machines were, for whatever reason, not dispensing cash. I could forgive all this but then the customer service was sub par. Maybe the tellers wouldn't be so stressed if they had more help.

Me and my husband got a HELOC through them and they bent over backwards to make it happen. They got us 80% more on our line of credit then 3 other banks in the area (MACU, Wells Fargo, Bank of America). We worked with Nick Nielson who explained everything clearly and gave us timely updates on the account set up status. He also helped us also consolidate some other debit which saved us $400 dollars a month. If anybody is looking for an amazing pain free HELOC experience look no further.

The worst bank or credit union ever, it always takes so long to do anything, even a simple deposit in the drive through. The customer service center is rarely on the same page as the bank, the bank employees are always “preoccupied or trained poorly “. They are unprofessional and lack the ability to resolve anything, everything is always someone else’s fault or I need to call a different department. They have never made anything smooth or easy, this place is the worst. DO NOT BANK here if you value your time or customer service. I’ve been with them for over 3 years, finally I have had enough and tried to close my account which, no surprise, they can’t do in the branch or through the customer service center, but now want me to contact someone else to close the accounts. They make no sense, finally I just demanded they close the accounts and mail my funds. I highly doubt this gets done either, worst place ever!!!!

This is a great addition to the neighborhood. It's better this here then the meth lab that got busted that was here previously. It's nearly ready to open. You will enjoy it's modern designed building and colors.

i like pretty much overyone in this branch except for a girl there that has curly hair. she is always in a bad mood or something. she needs to get fired she has no customer service whatsoever. so i walk in and the only words that came out of her mouth towards me were (i can help who ever is next) that’s it nothing else i walk up to her and yell her i need to make a deposit. her:... nothing from her. i gave her the money and the account number and still nothing from her coming out of her mouth she hands me my receipt and nothing still i said Thanks and she was still quiet. like what the hell... and this is not the first time.

A friend recommended these guys to me, so I decided to give them a try when I needed to refinance my car a few years ago. They gave me a rate less than half of what my own credit union was offering me. I have been with them ever since! Great staff and service!

I've been banking here for years and they have always been good to me. The staff here are professional and courteous and are willing to help you with all your banking needs. They treat you like family here... well, like my dad's side of the family. Just kidding mom! But seriously though, it's a great credit union to be with.
