VERY VERY Rude bank teller at the Walmart branch in south Jordan 11600 south and parkway ave her name is "GILLETTE" I have never been treated so poorly. She was so rude I had to retract my transaction due to her people skills and she wasn't the teller helping me and my wife, she felt she had to put in her 2 cents into the conversation.. Closing my account will not return to Cyprus ever again!

I cannot believe people stay with this credit union. They've messed up with my account and blame me for it. I can't believe the lack of technology they have on their website. Save yourself some time and stress and go to another credit union.

I very much dislike having to sign in to get a card. I will probably switch banks just because of this. Literally every teller was available and they made me sign in just to wall right back over. They could have literally just spoken to me and asked wtf I wanted. I'm switching.

I agree with Gary Wilson and Dallas Steven, terrible service and similar experience with my Mom's account. I have been a member of Cyprus since 1981 and was a long time resident of Magna with outstanding credit.

We came here to finalize an auto loan. At arrival we were greeted by Ricky who was kinda shy and quiet, but nice. We walked in an asked if our loan officer was here so we could get this done. They told us to sign in and wait. It was kinda rude, but we complied and waited. The branch manager, Scott L. Had us go into his office where he asked why we were here. As we explained he was really rude, and sort of brushed off our seriousness. Idk if he just judged us by our looks, we are young, or if he was just having a bad morning. He kept saying, that our loan officer needed more "stuff" after we've already supplied all the documents he asked for. So he just didn't take the time to ask us the details and assumed. We talked to our loan officer on the phone and continued to do what he instructed, etc. After all was done, we set up the appointment with our loan officer for 1:15 pm. And since we had been there since they opened at 9AM. We were sitting and waiting in the lobby when we decided, even though we're early. Let's sign in. Scott L. Was at the receptionist desk and told us "I don't have anyone available so you'll have to wait." Meanwhile, we overhear tellers and other employees chatting amongst themselves about random, non work related stuff. But we didn't expect anyone to stop what they're doing to finish up with us RiGHT NOW. We just wanted to sign in so that when our app comes up, they'll know we are here. We had been there all day already. So rebelliously, we just walked in, and checked into the little podium thing that was there. How hard was that! All he had to do was tell us to use the podium to check in. Erinn finally called us and we thought the frustration was over, as we sat down. She gets a call, and tells us that Scott is doing the paperwork and directed us back to the lobby to wait for him...REALLY!? Smh. We finally got called into his office 10 minutes AFTER our appointment. (10 minutes is a long time when you've been sitting in the lobby for 4 hours.) He was just rude, impersonal, had difficulty "printing papers out" and just seemed to drag things out purposefully to frustrate us more. He kept brushing off our concerns and putting blame on others. In the end, it all worked out and we were taken care of. But geeze, what a process. I actually liked Cyprus before I ever had to walk into a physical branch. After this experience, I'll avoid it. Overall, It was just a completely unpleasant experience other than Ricky and the Teller we talked to for a min, I'll go to America First next time simply to avoid this sort of frustration.

Do your homework before switching banks. I recently opened accounts at Cyprus Credit Union and now I feel I stepped back into the 90's. You want to go on line and transfer funds into your savings account? BAM! There's a charge for that, yes you need to pay for that luxury! I then stopped the other night to make a deposit into the ATM machine...what are you kidding? Nope....not an option. What? This is almost 2017!!! So I had to forfeit my lunch break one day to drive to one of their locations a few towns away because there was no branch in the town I work in and the banks are closed by the time I get to the nearest location. My list can go on and on...just do your homework before selecting a bank as I am doing now before I switch banks once again. Luckily we learn from our mistakes.

Cypress credit union is one of the worst banks I have ever come in contact with. Horrible customer service. I cannot recommend them at all. America 1st credit union is so much better, as is Pacific Horizon credit union. I would give those places 5+stars. I wish I could give Cyprus 0 stars.

Aubry at cypress credit in west jordan totally makes you fell you rob the bank each time you cash a check in jordan landing. Worst experience I have ever had took 45 minutes to cash a check. I thought forsure the she called the cops on me. I busted my butt allday pouring concrete then i have to deal with this horrible. Scott larsen too was involved he was not polite at all

Web page says open at 8:30. Lies!!! Nothing is open!! For a main branch to have false information and a phone number where you can't reach anyone us really annoying. Bank switch!!

I love cyprus, best move ever. I was previously at Mountain America. All I was to them was just a number. No personal service at all. It was so much better when it was Public Employees credit union, back when you really had a voice in knowing what your funds were being spent on. Just go drive through the parking lot at Jordan landing and see the overlay they did. Total waste of money. I hope Cyprus never gets that big.

I have been with Cyprus credit union for the past 4 years 8 month and can certainly say they have the Worst customer service you could expect from a credit union. They try to cheat the customers like they did with my friend ( Andres )

To Cyprus Credit Union I was a dedicated member of Cyprus credit union for over 16 years, this came to an abrupt halt this week. I had a perfect membership relationship with your bank, many loans, car payments, 800 + credit rating. Due to a family disagreement my mothers account was frozen till the authentic trustee of her estate could be settled. I recently received a life insurance police payment from one of my mothers insurance companies that clearly recognizing me in writing as her estate trustee. I attempted to deposit this check for holding only into my account at the Herriman branch and was meet with instant suspicion from the teller who stated that she knew all about the freezing of my mothers account and that I was not allowed to deposit this check, being judge and jury of my mother affairs. The next day I was at the Jordan landing office on an unrelated transaction to withdrawal money from my checking account, this account is mine only and has no connection to my mother account. Before the teller could make this transaction she stared at the computer then picked up the phone and called a person of some authority to approve my withdrawal. I asked why she had to ask someone permission to approve my transaction? She said that someone had placed a flag or warning on my account and that all my transactions where to be monitored (Herriman Branch). I had never been so outraged and embarrassed, I asked for the manager immediately! She explained about the freezing of my mothers account and the check I tried to deposit the other day. I stated that my account was totally removed from hers, and why was I now a person of suspicion it the eyes of this bank? The following day I payed off a small personnel loan, once again the teller had to call notifying someone that I was trying to excite a transaction. It was then I knew there were more customer oriented banks and it was time to close out my account after 16 years! I have present numerous times legal documentation, notarized by your bank, signed by my mother in person at your bank, stating my position of executor and trustee of her estate, but your bank refuses to comply with my mothers legal wishes, knowing what s best for her estate. I have now happily closed my account, I now at bank were I'm not under suspicion or seen as an unrepeatable person. I am just one costumer, my disappearance from your bank will have no noticeable impact. I will never have anything positive to say about your bank to others.
