I've had A LOT of problems with this company. I signed up for a FASFA loan about three years ago. Then about 6 months ago my aunt gets a multiple calls a day from Cornerstone saying I was delinquent on my loans. When I finally got Cornerstone to answer the phone, they had my email that i had made only a few days before and said they had been emailing me for two years about my loans. Also my aunt's number was the primary number on the account, an aunt we hardly talk to and WOULD NOT have put her number down, we don't even know how they got that number? The customer service is a joke. I sent them an email asking what my monthly loan payment was (because it's not on the site) instead of telling me, they replied saying they had sent in an emergency request to have my direct debt cancelled (something that you have to mail in a form for that takes up to 3 months to process) I tried to call and ask why that was happening and all the woman I was talking to kept saying the exact same thing over and over again about how to fill out the form for direct debt (which was not what i was asking) The website is convoluted and doesn't have much, if any, real information on it. I highly recommend not using Cornerstone.

scam plain and simple/ thanks for your reply. If you are legit why do you send out forms with NO address, No telephone number and No financial info regarding balances etc..?

I have never had a bad experience with my Cornerstone loan. The employees are really nice and understanding. So far, I have had no bad experiences with them. They've been my education loan lender since 2015. If a friend had a choice of their education loan lender, I would recommend Cornerstone.

I called in regard to a payment that i sent but was never received, was on hold for 16 minutes then i got hung up on!!!!

I don't much like my student loans, but this company has kind, knowledgeable staff.

Horrible company. Instead of being quick and direct, they tell you about a hundred different forms you need to fill out - without actually mailing you any, or emailing a PDF. Don't take a school loan through them if you can. Find a different company.
