i have lost everything from them and i really may end it because of these people/. The ed. dept swooped in the first time I have ever had a job above poverty and started taking all of my money but from three different companies at once each claiming 15% so 45% of my income total. I got no where else to even go now

Nothing like being lied too! I am extremely disappointed. Spoke with a lot of csr’s there. Due to “timing” of when I filed my income tax return and when payment was due - I was told by 4 people I would get my income tax check reversed and send back to me. You see they applied it to my loan. AFTER hey told me I was going to get my money back. So like a complete fool I kept checking my mailbox. I called them yesterday 30 aug - just to be told it was applied to my interest. I asked how can they tell me that, when it wasn’t true? Supervisor Dante and manager Stephanie all they could say was I’m sorry. They shouldn’t have said that. What we can do is listen to the phone recordings and tell the supervisors to retrain them. WHATTTTTTT? Stephanie told me she didn’t see any notes on there where the reps told me it was reversed. I was even told it would be submitted for review, that was probably a lie. Because right after that I called back and sure enough she told me the check is coming from the irs so it might take up to 30 days? Well glad they are going to get retrained on me! From the beginning of this arrangement I went into to pay my student loan back- they kept reiterating if I do this: my income tax will NOT be withheld nor will my pay be garnished. All LIES! I loath being lied too! I wouldn’t be surprised if they garnish my check. They don’t FREAKING know what they are doing. Thank you Navient! This is not the end. I am seeking answers! Unbelievable how they are allowed to play with your money. Knowing full well every human being has bills to pay. So shouldn’t a call be made before you keep or withdraw money from someone. You can’t play with people’s money.

WHAT THEY DO NOT TELL YOU ABOUT STUDENT LOANS and why you need to both read my review and full and my page. I am disgusted with navient and the student loan industry. Don't bother going to college, it won't help and you will be stuck unemployed. Our kids found this one out. Once you are out of college, your student loans will DESTROY your credit score. Sadly your credit score now effects your "employ-ability" This means that credit scores now show that you are "worthy" or not of working for someone. Many backwards companies out there (98% of the companies) use third party hiring firms to determine if you are a "good" candidate for their workplace. They turn to your credit scores for this information (idiots). So if you are like MANY students out there jaded into the college scene thinking you will get an amazing job after college that will pay off this loan in 4-6 months, WRONG. You have to remember thousands of people LIKE you, are rolling out with the SAME credentials as YOU are. It doesn't matter what field you are in, you are now competing against ALL of these other people exactly like you. What I am getting at is, your college loan, weather it is in default, forebarance or on-time payments is still a credit AGAINST you! These jokers at navient and former Sallie mae dang well knew what they were doing. Employers want you to have "experience" in the field you studied, about 2-5 years. College experience does NOT count, no matter what bs lies they tell you. Our workforce of college students are STUCK in very petty jobs because of the student loan industry. YOu have rotten credit scores because your credit is being "utilized", and much of tthose loans you are stuck with have a 25 year life span. This means you have to lean on your parents for all of your car loans, mortgages and even co-signature for apartments. This generation has become the lean-on generation because the college industry LIED to the consumer and lobbied our big brothers in power from immunity and bankruptcy. I have a nice big middle finger for Navient and the student loan industry. Congrats you took college students and placed them in their parents' basement. ANd guess what, I know your company's public information very well Navient, you don't have a lot of pay-offs. hence why you are a break-off from Fat-mae company. I would tell ANY student looking at going to college, don't. The price of the party life and higher education isn't worth it afterwards.

I hate to even give them a star. They're a disgrace to humanity. Predator loans that prey on those trying to better themselves. This is a disgusting company. I'm one of the few actually trying to pay back my debt and do the right thing but they still find every way possible to screw me.
