I have used Springleaf several times and am happy with the results. My own credit rating is not that good and yet they worked with me so that I could secure a loan for unexpected medical and other expenses. Of course the interest rates are high, but these folks have to make a living and I have no complaints. I will use them again if the need arises. I totally disagree with the previous negative review. Used to be a great company and helpful. Customer service has decreased immensely. Called relative to getting additional loan and they advised me a cost and then calls back the next day and states that it is going to be a much higher cost. Then when I called to get the pay off I was told one price and called back the very next day and the cost had gone up $100 dollars. I have been lied to and mislead on several levels within the past 6 months. Wish the company was like it used to be. I don't believe I will work with them anymore. Very sad

I'm blown away with this company! Not only did they help me get the loan when most bank said no because I'm young and don't have enough credit experience. But when the money never made it to my account, the staff here worked hard and fast to get the loan funded. There agents are always friendly and professional and helpful and explain everything out to you and will answer any and all your questions. Will definitely doing business with them in the future and just again blown away but this great company!

My experience came as the seller of a car. The buyers purchased the car using financing from this place and there were multiple mistakes on both ends. This includes an issue for the buyers loan amount and the interest rate being significantly higher for them taking a smaller loan than originally planned (not my problem, but I felt that was rediculous). The process not only took two hours when we were told the buyers were pre-approved and ready to go, but they issued me a check that I was unable to cash AFTER me thoroughly questioning the validity of how it was made out (written to me and the buyer and I was told the buyer could just sign it over and I could cash it - not true - bank wouldn't accept). So, I had to go back and get another check made out to just me. The buyer then had issues with the title that was supposedly handled by this place, which resulted in them driving an extra 3 hour round trip. Complete joke and I would never recommend.

No judgement or discouragement as with some other lending organizations. Just positive people there to serve you. The Irwin Branch should be commended for their work. Highly recommended.

They were fast and easy when my boyfriend got a loan from them so I figured I would try to get a loan as well. I'm sorry I ever wasted my time. They have TERRIBLE customer service. I had waited three weeks to get a response. Even after calling and going into the office every week. They were extremely unhelpful and pretty much ignored me because I didnt have a perfect credit score. Never again will I go there nor will I ever refer anybody there. Awful service. I would give them a zero if I could.

The people working at the Green Acres location are super helpful and nice. They are efficient and quick to get back to you. They helped us out on a few occasions without the best credit, but they took a chance on us anyhow. When we were in a pinch and needed something again, they called back within the hour and we were down signing papers that night at 5:30 and left with check in hand. I highly recommend them!

OMF went WAY beyond what I expected. I just wanted to pay of some cards but Sarah Lowe showed me what they could do to help me payoff my cards and my auto loan. I was totally surprised. It wasn't a long drawn out process. In/out in an hour. I am able to throw $$$ into my Savings. AND everyone in the Office were very friendly, professional, and made you comfortable. Got back to me faster than I expected- within hours of application- and approved me for more than what I needed... I have good credit, but like a lot of early 20-somethings, I just don't have MUCH credit which was really putting the thumbscrews on me. Fast, helpful, clear, answered all my questions and didn't push me to pay for things I didn't need; really painless application process. Couldn't be happier with the entire experience from beginning to end, and I'd absolutely go back if I ever need another loan.

Somehow legal highway robbery. ‘Pre-approved’ for a loan only to be presented with huge fees for a small amount after negatively effecting my credit score. They take advantage of the people trying to rebuild their credit. Wouldn’t recommend.
