I use to go in there to buy items. They are more interested in standing around talking then to help you! I bet they spring into action when a poor sap comes in to pawn a 500.00 item so they can offer them .50 to buy their drugs or whatever they do.

Legal loan sharks. People take in their valuables and get loans on them, like a pawn shop. Or the do payday loans. If people don't pick up or pay on merchandise, they resell it for higher prices than you would except for used items. The jewelry is nice but as much as it would be new.. without the bad karma attached.

Don't try to sell your gold with these bozos. The undertrained staff will file on it, pour acid on it and all just to tell you it's fake. Skip Cashland and go straight to Prestige in Weirton. They know what they are doing, and will give you the best deal for your used jewelry. Cashland has a bunch of folks who think their minimum wage job is an audition for "Pawn Stars". Don't waste your time with these guys, they're only here to serve the junkie community.
