Leslie Nicolas from reliance Charlotte NC was a godsend to me. I had a very unique situation trying to finance my home into my name. After calling several other agents over a period of 6 years no one would help me.(too much work) One day I called reliance and leslie was the agent that answered my call. When I explained my unique situation this agent helped me. She put In alot of time and work for me. It took a little time but she was able to get my refinancing done. At first, the woman I spoke with was fairly helpful...then she ran a hard credit report w/o permission and was sending disclosures when all I wanted was a rate quote. I told her I no longer needed their services. Soon after, a gentlemen was emailing and calling me for a couple weeks. I never spoke with him. Then, another female; that was short-lived. Then another woman emailed me everyday for a week or so, accompanied by phone calls every day. I suggest a credit union first, then talk to local banks. On a side note, the rate offered was fair; I found .50 or more lower on a 15-yr. fixed Follow-up; a VP contacted me to discuss this review; that is something of a good sign.

I first had contact with Reliance First after searching for a company to work with through the website lending tree. I filled in some pertaint information about myself and my financial situation. Quite frankly I felt like chum being thrown in a tank filled with all types of shark type lenders. I was immediately contacted every way possible by lenders I didn't solisite nor want to talk. One particular company was so aggressive they were ready to close on a loan that I neither asked for or was financially sound for my family. I spoke with several other lenders that were from aggressive also. I did however talk to one company and their representative that seemed to want to explain the process guide me rather than shoehorn me into a loan that beifitted the lender. Completely predidtory lenders. After I complied my list of 3 A, B, C, companies that I wanted to reacquaint myself with. I Spoke with a representative from each company and found one representative Westley White with Reliance Capitol that stood out among all these questionable companies After several conversations with Westley I began to throughly under stood the the plan of action he mapped out to guide me through the process of which was completely foreign to me . I only really know Westley as my link to Reliance and if he represents what your company is all about your company should attract a lot of new customers I would hands down recommend Reliance but especially recommend Westley White.

Complete waste of my time. Spent over 20 mins on the phone only to find out they can't even give you a rough quote on what the payments would be based on the credit you tell them you have. All they want to do is run your credit which lowers your score. I've had plenty of companies in the past provide a quote without having to run my credit. Then if we wish to proceed we run the credit at that time. Don't bother doing business with Reliance Capital.

She went on to tell me what I already knew and I told her in the beginning of the call. When I reiterated that I knew that and told her in the beginning of the call she called me rude and she became aggressive so I asked for her name and she hung up.

It was such an amazing experience with Tori Fore as our lender! We used a VA loan, and it is almost unheard of to close in a month, much less before! From the time we applied, to the time we were signing closing papers was 3 weeks to the day. Tori is very detailed, and very diligent in making sure the process is running smoothly. I would like to take the time to share this unexpected experience with Reliance Capital. I have been trying to refinance my property for a long time, and I knew due to the complexity of my situation and dealing with multiple lending agencies - including Rocker Mortgage, it was near impossible. Cody my loan officer kept me at ease from day one, in fact he was so confident I was hesitant to deal with him knowing the past experience with lenders. He was very straight forward, honest, kept things plain and simple, and willing to go above and beyond to rectify my situation. When he took on my case, he thought it was going to be easy as well, but his team realized halfway through the process it was near impossible as well. Nonetheless, we communicated daily, laid out all my options in potential impact, explained in great details all the document jargons - which by the way even a 5 years old can understand, and suggesting how to approach the dire crisis with my mortgage situation. It came to a point that I literally gave up and knew this wasn’t going to work. Little did I know how wrong I was. They stuck through, worked with my lender, introduced our options to them and they were able to come to terms. Honestly, there has been tons of discussion with relatives about “if it was just this incredible team that helped me get to the finish line or a higher power.” Is been several months now since I refinance my home and till today I am still in disbelief. If you were having second thoughts about calling Reliance because others were not able to get the job done, please don’t sell yourself short. Give them a try or request for Cody. It doesn't matter how bad your situation is please give them a try. I can honestly speak from experience you will not regret it. If you do, then I have failed you as well ☹. Don't lose hope, if all else fail make this your last stop. Reliance is a lender you can rely on.

I worked with 3 other finance companies about refinancing my house. My credit score was below the minimum score due to working with Freedom Debt Relief and I was denied refinancing. I had calls from other companies that wanted to help me with refinancing but I knew what the answer was going to be, seeing that 3 finance companies already denied me. Then Brett Tyson from Reliance First Capital called and said that he could help me with refinancing. I didn't believe him so I said I'd give him a try, what else do I have to lose. My experience with Reliance wasn't good at all. 1st off they ran 4 hard inquires on my credit that i did not authorize and i am in the process of pursuing potential legal action . 2nd my rep corey scheduled an appraisal that took 6 weeks to get back and he nothing was done to speed that process up. 2nd we started this processs in sept and its jan of the next year almost and still not closed and i am still getting request from the loan processor. Its absolutely ridiculous! 3rd it took so long for them to close that the rate they offered me 3.75 went up to 4.6 and i wasn't even notified until i got documentation from Reliance. They did not lock me in to the initial rate like they should have. 3rd i decided not to use them for the refi because of all the errors and mistakes that were made by them. I'm going to file a Better Business Bureau complaint as well as other complaints about my experience, do not use them.

I worked with Brett Tyson to refinance my home. I can’t imagine anyone better to work with. Knowledgeable, honest, personable and professional loan officer. On the phone he projected himself as honest, genuine and confident. Was always available to patiently answer questions. He returned phone calls very promptly. Always knew the answers to questions. Very easy to talk to. He was on vacation for a week of the processing of my loan but that did not slow anything down. Ed Winder and Laverne Johnson were backing him up and made themselves very available. This was also a very quick transaction. Process started on Dec 17 and closing was Jan 8. I give Brett credit for getting it done so quickly. Fees were considerably less than for my original loan which was done through a local banker and attorney. I am so pleased to have found such an exceptional loan officer to perform this service for me and can, without any qualification, recommend him to anyone looking for a mortgage or to refinance an existing mortgage.
