Unwilling to help my family and I with the government shutdown. They had a requirement to have direct deposit which I was willing to do but said it had to be prior to the shutdown. Time to refinance my car loan with them and find a better CU actually willing to help its members.

They were rude and seriously unacceptable attitude towards me. First teller then I had to wait to be attended by someone else. As soon as loan is paid off leaving bank & closing accounts. Do not consider this the 'best' credit union. Beyond disappointed.

Everyday when trying to log into my acct it won't recognize my username and password. Everyday I have to redo my password. Long process. And sometimes it still won't recognize the password they send to make sure it's you. When that fails you have to call the 1-800 #. When it cant recognize you again it longs you out. And when you try the 24 hr hotline forget no help. This has been going on for a LONG TIME. Another time I was in Arizona to buy a car. Well! My password and number didn't work. Guess what KFCU ask me to do? I need to drive back to NM and reset at the branch.... It = KFCU

KFCU let someone hack my card and make a charge. I caught it right away because I get a notice when my card is used. It was a charge to some online gaming website. KFCU refunded me for the charge and then after a few weeks, they took it back! They said that I made the charge!!! I am not a gamer and I did NOT make the charge! Very frustrating. So, I just took all of my money out of my account and transferred it to a different bank. I will not be using them ever again.

If there was a 0 rating I would totally give it. Trust me, you’re 100% WASTING your time and money with this bank. They’re nothing but inappropriate, unprofessional bankers who find any excuse to not help you. Supervisor Christine for the (call center) is extremely unhelpful and would rather argue than find a solution. Banker “Tim” also had no clue on how to help. God this bank needs to just leave already.

First I would like to say that I am happy and very much satisfied with the efforts of Nathan in helping me refinance my car and thankful for Kirtland as a whole. Nathan and I had been communicating via telephone only for a few weeks before I actually went in to finalize everything in person. When I finally went into the facility I was attended to quickly by the very nice lady at the front counter. I only waited for a short time until meeting Nathan. Facility was very clean and neat. All of the staff members seemed pleasant and you could feel that personal connection they had with their customers.

It is an ok banking center except they do things that make you feel less valued. For instance I want to cash in my change, well they offer the service for free if you are in uniform or a child. Everyone else they charge a fee. I currently have my mortgage through them but they bother me so much with this that I will not use them in any future loans or auto finances.

They have very knowledgeable staff, they get your question answered. I had some issues with my taxes. The Bank Manager, and Regional manager came to my rescue.

They were very rude form the teller to the manger, and prejudice because of my accent and look. I had the worst experience I've ever had in my life at a bank. I was thinking of banking with them but after today I will NEVER enter that place again!!! Also I don't advice anyone to bank or do business with them!!

Kirtland federal credit union has been by far the worst credit union I've ever had to deal with. They have appealing words to lure military people in such as: wingman/rank etc. but they in no way helped me being in the military. They denied me an auto loan that would have been completely ideal for me, but then later approved an extremely high interest auto loan that they would benefit the most from. I received a call from KFCU to my work number because I did not pay .23 cents on my last payment. They did not bother trying to reach me directly. They went straight to the work number. I made on time payments for my vehicle for 3 years, but had to valuntarily repo my vehicle to KFCU due to PCSing overseas. They did not work with me at all. I couldn't restructure my loan to reduce payment amount. I was met with a lot of attitude on heir part and now it's at collections. They undersold my vehicle by at least 3Grand, and stuck me with the bill. I no longer have his asset so I ask to settle the charge. I tried to settle for 50% but they are insisting that I need to pay 52%. They offer no help in case of military movements. I would never recommend this credit union to anyone. Navy federal credit union is by far a better credit union who actually acts like a wingman.

I thought when opening this account, good things were going to happen. But no there's no special perks for thier customer. If anything they don't believe in or trust the people that bank with them unless they at active duty or rich. I applied for a credit card having good credit and making 1380 every two weeks direct deposit to my checking and was stil considered a risk. I applied for a personal loan years later and still nothing. I applied for a credit card with the very first bank I opened and was approved. Account is still in good standing.
