Todd Harrington and Patrick Vida of Brightwire loans are amazing. They were much more than just a lending services agency. First of all, they are very thorough with their process. Right from the stage of pre approvals, they are very detailed and very thorough. It is not only important to have someone who are very thorough in their process, but also who understand your specific scenario, and work with you to give you the best advice and services. And that's what Todd and Patrick are. They are very accessible, very patient with all your queries and very detailed with their explanations. When you deal with Brightwire, you get a confidence that you are in the right hands. They are always thinking about the best options for you, and work with you to provide you with the best options. Todd goes over and above being just a lender, and works very collaboratively with everyone else keeping our interested in the center. Of course, all of this aside, they were able to source the best rates for me with the right terms. Would recommend Brightwire as a lending agency without any hesitation.

He was very patient with my extremely difficult loan with 1 year income tax and no PMI 10% down. I was referred to Todd from a close personal friend. I was pleasantly surprised with the experience. Todd was my rock throughout the entire process. He pushed the process along and I would speak to him on an almost daily basis, and it was Todd initiating the contact. Many times he was pushing the process along, but other times it was me asking a multitude of questions and Todd answered them all diligently. I dealt with him more than anyone else and I can honestly say I would not have made it through the process without him. Throughout the arduous experience of being the sole purchaser of my 1st home, I often expressed to Todd and Patrik (and others) that "Brightwire has been one of the ONLY bright spots in this whole process." They provided personal attention throughout, from pre-qualification to closing day. They had the best rates, answered every question propmptly and clearly with re-assurance (I needed to hear,) simplified the whole process and were right on top of every detail. Their advice with regard to a survey even saved me money!! As a single female in today's world almost everyone tries to rip "us" off. It was comforting to have Brightwire in my corner, as they earned my trust. The sellers realtor and their attorney dragged everything out (from negotiation and acceptance of my initial offer all the way to confirming a closing date.) That made things difficult because I needed to be out of my apartment quickly. Even though "the other side" prolonged the process, from day one my realtor told me not to worry because Todd (& Patrik) would get it done in 21 days and they did. Todd even came to my closing! He didn't just make an appearance, he waited with me, (my realtor, attorney and the title company) for two hours as the sellers attorney never showed up. They all somehow got everything "in before the bell" instead of rescheduling the closing and then congratulated me on owning my new home. Run, don't walk to Brightwire!!

Words cannot describe how incredibly grateful we are to have found Todd Harrington with Brightwire Loans!! As first time home buyers we were uneducated on the entire process let alone the ability to obtain a CONVENTIONAL mortgage loan.. Todd guided us through the entire process every step of the way. From our very first meeting he was extremely helpful and was able to share his extensive knowledge in a way that we could understand. He not only impressed us but impressed every other party involved including our lawyer and realtor. Todd was consistently knowledgable, efficient, responsive, and detailed in his work. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best interest rate; even when that meant re-doing our entire loan to save us more money. It was very clear that Todd always had our best interest in mind. Anyone who is leaving a bad review likely is blaming Todd for things that are out of his control. He never disappointed us once. His communication..excellent. His customer service...excellent. He often replied within minutes or within the hour after emails or calls. He follows the market very closely and is simply a straight shooter. No B.S. He even attended our closing and gave us a nice gift ! Which from what I hear is unheard of..Another example of how much he cares about his clients.. We cannot recommend him enough to everyone we know who is thinking about purchasing a home. Me and my gf were young first time home buyers. We had basically no idea where to start. We started with a few of the big banks and our Realtor suggested working with lenders because going to big banks could cause a lot of delays. However, he could only recommend lenders from his reality company. I decided to check online and yelp is basically my first go to place. When I saw 5 stars for Todd and Brightwire, I assumed it was a scam. But after dealing with Todd, I assure you he is worth all 5 stars. We got about 7 different quotes from other lenders and banks. Todd was basically one of the best out of them. You can reach him anytime you want and he gets back to you VERY quickly. I basically told him I knew nothing and he did an excellent job of explaining everything and letting me know all my different options. The whole process is intimidating and having someone you trust and that you feel you can rely on is such a plus. He was never pushy and I never felt forced to do anything. He always gave me multiple options for any supplemental things we needed. Now through the whole process, Todd did an excellent job in attaining all the documents I needed. We did have to go back to the underwriter twice but that was because of changes due to my employer. And everytime Todd was able to swiftly get everything I needed and work around things. I never felt alone or that things wouldn't work out. At one point, there was documents I didnt think my employer would give me and Todd was able to work around that rather than starting a new type of loan. We also had issues needing flood insurance at the last minute that he was able to help us quickly work through. Even through the holidays and when he was on vacation, I was able to reach Todd. He even monitored rates and got back to me when they dipped so we could lock it in. He showed up for the closing and helped us go through the documentation with the lawyer. He followed up several times after the loan was processed and made sure we had payments and online accounts set up. I have absolutely no regrets and would recommend Todd to anyone that is looking for a mortgage. And I believe this is the first 5 star review I have ever given. And it was well deserved. Thank you again Todd for all your help. I am glad that you were there to help us through everything and help us get our dream apartment. I definitely believe that if we had gone to a big bank loan, we would have lost the apartment. Buying my first home was a daunting task, especially since I was buying a Coop and working directly with the seller rather than a real estate agent. What I really needed was someone with expertise in the field to be my ally. On one of my first phone calls with Todd from Brightwire Loans, I asked him why I should acquire my mortgage though him rather than through a large bank. He assured me that the personalized attention he would give me would prove necessary and he was 100% correct. He helped me navigate through each step of the process explaining all choices/implications to me and getting me a fantastic rate. He provided detailed checklists for me to follow as well as getting me familiarized with a program he has to electronically sign documents. Tone of agent is rude and non-professional. I spoke with Todd and he denied to maintain written communication with me. He said "Apart from you, I have hundred clients praying me for the mortgage. Our experience with Todd at Brighwire Loans was truly first rate. We met Todd from a friend's referral who said he helped them close on their home in record time. We were so please with our experience that wanted to pass it along. A little about our situation and the deal in question: both of us work in w-2 salaried positions, so the income was not an issue. Todd pre-qualified us in a day with very little back and forth. Once we signed a contract, Todd took over. He project managed the entire transaction, from coordinating attorney's, arranging for the appraisal with the realtor and AMC, making sure the appraiser submitted the report back and pushing the lender to get the commitment letter issued. Where Todd really shone, however, was in dealing with the condo association management company. The association management company was totally unresponsive in getting back to the lender with timely information throughout the transaction, but ultimately failed to disclose a special assessment owed on the property. The seller planned to pay the assessment, but because it was not disclosed, things nearly unraveled. Todd kept his cool and actually did the association's job in documenting the assessment so all the association had to do was confirm the numbers. It completely saved the deal so we could close. We can't say enough good things about Brightwire and thoroughly appreciate all of Todd's hard work and effective communication.

Had to the pleasure to work with Todd at Brightwire on the purchase of my 1st home during fall 2014. He reached out to me via an online inquiry I had submitted. During our 1st conversation, he didn't push or try to hard to close. I, like many, was a nervous 1st time buyer. Todd was able to put me at ease and I felt very comfortable working with him.
