Stephanie Brown was our Loan Officer for our home purchase. I was truly impressed with how quickly and efficiently we were able to get approval and keep the process moving forward. I have purchased multiple homes over the years and as a small business owner it has been one of the worst experiences to go through each time. The process feels like something from the Spanish Inquisition to be able to qualify. Stephanie had an approval for me in just under 24 hours. She was very responsive and communicative from our very first contact all the way to the closing and after, following up to see how our move went and to congratulate me again. For the first time ever, getting a mortgage was a simple and straight forward process. It made the stress of the situation significantly reduced!! The time lines she presented for the process were spot on. We ran into a small hiccup with the appraisal but Stephanie kept us on track and moving forward! Unbelievably rude and obnoxious people to speak with over the phone. They actually reported to a credit bureau that my husband was evicted THREE times in one year from the same place, but with different account numbers for their bank, while we are CURRENTLY residing in the home we supposedly were evicted from, but wish to relocate (basically trying to make us unable to rent or qualify for a loan elsewhere) DEFAMING his character in the process. Their greed overrides their morals on sales of their "as is" homes to the point of not caring they are trying to force a FAMILY to stay in a home with black mold, that has leaked since day one, and has had to be treated for numerous (spiders, ear wigs, slugs, ants, bed bugs, and mice etc) pest infestations only to have the pests return. Upon signing for the home, there were also multiple UNPAID debts on the property (Water, trash, and lawn maintenance fines) incurred but not handled by the bank but rather inherited to us. In my opinion this was the worse experience i have ever had with a bank and feel they have illegally wrong my family by failing to disclose information and for LYING about my husbands otherwise perfect credit. My entire family and friends will be informed to avoid this company and any that read this review should do the same.

These guys are absolute jokes as mortgage lenders. Got preapproved for a loan in March, with conditions as a first time buyer. Had to go to a home buyer class etc... In September, we were still gathering documents to close!!!!! Unbelievable. Eric Andrejack is a complete moron and the whole underwriting department is unprofessional. Went to another lender after they fell through and closed in 2 weeks. Do NOT think about using these guys. They never answer the phone, and constantly lie about the documentation needed and drag their feet every step of the way. They should be shut down.

I came to FNBA after door after door was slammed in my face for a home loan. We were at the point of having to move from our home when Stephanie Brown was able to get us approved. Best bank I've ever worked with, and I've worked with a few in Europe and the US, none of them come close to the level of care the staff at FNBA gives to their customers. Whatever questions I've had they answered, everybody was very friendly and awesome to work with. I had some problems due to some amounts wrongfully placed on hold on my card by the hotel i was staying at, but David and Britten took charge and got my money taken off hold in record time, Britten even went the extra mile and kept watch on my account when I was overseas in Europe. The cashiers are also great, Victoria, Charris and Amber were always very friendly and always made sure any deposits or withdrawals i made were properly logged, always broke down the bills according to my needs at the time. I strongly recommend FNBA, it's very hard to find their level of professionalism these days

We had a bit of a scare a little over a month ago when the original bank who was providing our home loan wasn't making it happen. We decided to pull the plug and initiated a new home loan process with Steven Spears at First National Bank of America. Steven got us to close in just 28 days. From the beginning, Steven was straight forward, honest, and best of all, our interest rate was exactly what he said it was going to be from the beginning and our closing costs came in less than what was originally stated. Additionally, Mallory Herrera was a crucial asset in the process. She was incredibly detail oriented and was even willing to go to bat for us when our home insurance company was quoting us an absurd rate. All being said, Steven and Mallory made it happen and my wife and I are now in our forever home.

Absolute honesty, complete and total transparency along with a proven willingness to go FAR beyond professional and fiduciary responsibilities - if these are the rare qualities you’re hoping to find in a banking partner then Josh Matties with FNBA is exactly with whom you need to speak. And, if Josh is any indicator at all of the staff culture at FNBA then I can’t imagine why anyone would ever bank anywhere else. The steps Josh took to assist me in solving a rather unique situation no others would even discuss with me was nothing shy of astounding. His mind seems to naturally focus solely on finding solutions even when he can’t directly assist himself, the man finds a way. In a time where most just tell you what they can’t do and try to get rid of you as quickly as possible because you don’t fit in their little box, Josh was an extremely valuable find indeed.
