We refinanced with Mike Davidson at Embrace Home Loans, I originally posted a review on Embrace's website, but that review was conveniently never actually posted. My initial experience was great, Mike spent quite a bit of time crunching the numbers with me and was able to get me to the table to refinance. The main reason we wanted to refinance was because our original loan was sold to Freedom Mortgage (which was a terrible awful company- worth a couple thousand dollars not to have them service our loan). So after being promised that Embrace would not sell our loan you can imagine our surprise when we got a letter for U.S. Bank before the ink in our closing paperwork was even dry. I thought for sure it must be a mistake...but suddenly Mike Davidson didn't answer the phone and everyone I talked to at Embrace claimed it didn't matter what was promised it was in the small print that they may sell our loan. So all the thousands we spent so that we could stay with a supposedly "trustworthy" company were a waste.
