Bay Country helps when no one else will. All details of the loan are in black & white in the contract you read and sign. All the talk about repossession.. fails to admit there were more than 1 pyt missed, several calls, texts, post cards and letters sent in hopes to resolve the issues. Everyone in the office answers the phone, not the person at the front desk. My suggestion would be to read your contract , make pyts on time or COMMUNICATE when you can not and avoid having to leave a long negative review with next to zero facts.

Unfortunately I made a bad decision and decided to take out a personal loan with this company unfortunately every staff member I’ve come across has nasty bad attitudes very sarcastic and some of the ladies tend to rolled there eyes a lot they will find every excuse to add more money to your loan so that you will never pay it off if I can give any advice run stay far away from Bay Country finance go to Lendmark I’ve also experienced a loan with Lendmark to as well and they have positive attitudes they work with you their interest rates are very low I also noticed that every negative review I’ve read on here Bay Country gives the same response they just edit the customers name so they’re not even taking the time to give a genuine response on the negative reviews they’re just sending a standard response that shows right there that they don’t take time and give good customer service

i paid my debt off almost 2 months ago and i have YET to recieve my release papers. I was told that they would be mailed out july 7. I called 2 weeks later only to find out they lied. They said it was sent out on July 11. ok. They sent it to my old address. It does NOT take 4 weeks dor the post office to forward mail. Emails have been blocked. They claim that MVA wont accept fax copies of the release papers. WHY THE HECK DON'T I HAVE MY PAPERS YET. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. THEY ARE PREVENTING ME FROM SELLING MY TRUCK. Google does need to have a negative star rating because this company is the worse. They are b-sers when it comes to sending out paperwork but will repo in a heartbeat.

DO NOT BORROW MONEY FROM THEM! please. There is a reason they work with people with bad credit! They definitely take advantage of customers. It's not worth he VERY HIGH interest rate! HIDDEN FEES/CHARGES! I paid my account off in less then 3 months and was still charged the full interest of the loan. Horrible service at the Glen Burnie Md location. The lady at he front desk is very rude and unprofessional. See for yourself (Just call). Also they place a lien on your vehicle and NEVER send out a release! You have to pay them to get duplicate release! It's sad. Do not do business with them. They have a 1 star only because hey can not receive a negative 1 star.

pay on time every time in person... i asked for a pay off total and they told me NO. you have to fax over a request for that. I asked, you can tell me as a customer what my balance is?? they said no. this is totally a predator lending company. try and go somewhere else. I am fortunately able because i have good credit to move to something much different and more customer friendly

HATE THIS COMPANY! They really make it hard to decrease the loan amount you owe! The interest is RIDICULOUS and they don’t work with you with missed payments. I have to pay $1000 just to get my car back. I’m over it and I wouldn’t recommend a SOUL to use this company. BIGGEST MISTAKE of my life using my car as collateral.

The customer service at this place is horrible. The reps here belittle you and talk to you any kind of way. I was speaking with one rep who just placed me on hold and then sent me to a voicemail without notice and when I called back another rep was being sarcastic and kept trying to argue with me and then had the nerve to hang up on me. I then called back and asked for a manager and my call was never returned. Please don't do business with these people. They are rude and unprofessional and don't think twice about how they treat others forgetting that someday the shoe can be on the other foot.

I would recommend no one to them. Me n my husband use both cars, but when i couldnt get tha title we use his. Got approved for 1,500 been paying on time, untill they sends a letter n a new coupon book saying tha payment went up. Because he didnt get full coverage which my husband ask n tha lady said no because his car was a 03 n mines was a 08 n being finance. So they wasnt getting a second payment n now we back to 2,000 n more, tha employees are rude, n one got in his feelings cause my husband got in his ass. N tha front desk person isnt no better, left a messsge saying we was pass due, called my husband n she says i miss heard how is that when i have her leaving a message. How is this place in business.

They sent me a pre- approval and based off the reviews I will never take a loan from this company. I’ve never seen so many terrible reviews. It’s one thing if 10 people say they suck .. but all these reviews say the same thing lol. I’m not even going to put myself in this predicament. This is the only loan place with such terrible reviews.

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. I applied for a loan, and was a approved without any issue. However, something didn't feel right, so I didn't immediately finalize the paperwork. A few weeks went by, and after I finally decided to go through with everything I called to make an appointment. The lady who answered the front desk sounded like she was in a hurry, and that's when things turned sour. After I told her my name, she looked me up in the system and mumbled that I was past the 30 day mark, please hold. After a minute or so, she comes back and on the line and tells me that we are all set. I asked her what happened to the 30 day mark she mentioned, and she told me that they pulled everything again, so we were good to go. We exchanged some words, but ultimately, I told her I didn't appreciate her re-pulling my credit and not telling me, and her response was "well do want to come in for the loan or not?" I said I'd call back and hung up. Well, fast forward 20 minutes later, I called and asked for a manager, and explained the exchange I had with the first lady. I also expressed my concerns for doing business with them given this exchange. His response?... "Oh ok. Well they should let you know, I don't know why they didn't." No apology, no hint of any decent customer service. I must be honest, I really feel like this was a blessing in disguise. If this is how they treat customers on the front end, I can only imagine how they operate once everything goes through. It's a shame that how business treat people who are in less than ideal financial situations. It's all good, they won't get my business.

My loan is up since I financed for 36 months. I still owe $2500 on the loan. I have paid so far $6500.00 and now they tell me that I have to pay the balance in full or refinance the balance. NEVER AGAIN. WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Should have a option for no stars. STAY AWAY, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, TOTALLY BOTTOM FEEDING COMPANY. Trust me you will pay about three to four times more than what you borrow back. Their goal is to repossess your car and they will use every underhanded trick to do it. If you're borrowing money from this company you absolutely cannot be late at all they will repossess your car. Its really sad the way they operate but one thing is for sure a company like this always loses at the end, you can't retire from bottom-feeding.

BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If I would have known better and wasnt stuck in a huge life rutt. I Wouldn't have ever used them. Every review you read that are horror stories id true. I only borrowed 2500. After it was all said and done I owed them well over 5,000 dollars ive been paying them for about 4 yrs down til i only owed 600 dollars my husband lost his job and. I am disabled. They repoed my car. I just got a letter saying the only sold my car for 300 dollars and now I all of a sudden owe them another 1000 dollars. Their not getting another penny from me. They sell cars to friends and family members instead of auctions and are able to lie about bill of sales to get more money out of people they have already gotten way more then i borrowed. On July 4th 2017, I came out my house to go to my place of work only to find my car missing, A 2013 Chevy Equinox that I just got from Auction paid in full. I was shocked and disturbed at the same time; first of all I had to call out from work and then called 911 to file a report that my car has being stolen. The cops told me after listening to my report that a car that match that description was reported repossessed from my area around 3 am that morning that I should call Bay country financial, I was surprised because I didn't get the car through any finance company, but anyway to cut the long story short, I couldn't get through to Bay country financial till the next day 5th of July due to holiday. So on the 5th of July, I called to asked why my car was taken from my home without my permission as I have no business with Bay country financial. I was told by a female representative that my car has being repossessed, I told her there must have being a misunderstanding because I bought the car from auction and the seller was capital one and not even Bay country financial, and that it was not financed but paid for in full with cash. She disagreed, telling me the car was Bay country financial property and that they were the one financing the car since. After series of phone calls and emails showing proofs upon proofs that the car was actually mine and that I was telling the truth about buying the car from auction, the lady from Bay country financial said " oh so.... we have review your documents and finally concluded that we might have repossessed the wrong car and will tow the car back maybe tonight or tomorrow ". I was like, are you kidding me, after taken my car from my home for nearly 2 days already, you're still thinking about when to return it back to me? The lady on the phone said, "Well... it's not our fault, its capital one's fault" and then she dropped the call. This is so unheard of, is it the wrongful repossession of my car or the physical damages incurred on the car after it was returned. I've never seen anything like this in my whole life.
