My rep, Chad Carroll, is outstanding! I have an incredibly busy schedule and he has been SO accommodating. He provided clear, upfront answers in a timely fashion. I was working with Mazuma first, who took DAYS to reply to emails and I would have to provoke a response to get my questions answered. Also, instead of emailing me, they kept pushing phone calls on me regardless of how many times I tried to make it abundantly clear I was not available for calls... I told Mazuma to kick rocks and am going to use Community America for all of my financial needs. Chad typically replies within minutes and always answers my questions. He is a Rock star!!! Thank you!!

Worst bank I have ever used. The mortgage officers are terrible, customer service cancelled the wrong card on my account AND they have yet to refund the $200 fraudulent charge on my account or offer another solution. THANKS FOR THE BS COMMUNITY AMERICA

I called to discuss CACU's HELOC offerings and ended up with a very abrasive representative. The conversation didn't last past my third question regarding what their rates were based upon. I have been a member of various Credit Unions throughout my life. I prefer them over banks. I used to have an account for my LLC at CACU, but after this latest incident I will NEVER be a member of CACU.

Don't ever get a mortgage with tru homes. Our home had a tree come down on it damaging the roof with huge holes. Shelter, our insurance company paid us and tru homes will not indorse the check so that we may get our repairs done. They want our insurance check, which we will not give them. Never will I ever refer this company to anyone. My roof still has not been repaired because of tru homes..I'm a skilled carpenter and my insurance company said I can do the repairs myself or hire whoever I want but tru homes will not allow it and says we have to hire contractor and get inspection done which they say we have to pay for. They want signed affidavits from contractor along with business license,tax info, proof of insurance from contractor. The list goes on and on. Not only have the people been rude that I've talked to but also no help whatsoever. The sad part is we have been with community America for over two decades and were happy with them until this happened.. We pay our insurance, not tru homes yet they say they have a right to keep our insurance check. I wouldn't recommend them at all ! INDORSE OUR CHECK COMMUNITY AMERICA so we can fix our home!!! This is ridiculous and very poor business! This has caused my wife and I unnecessary stress and we are ready to contact an attorney because of this.

Just opened an account this week and was already approved for a personal loan at a great rate! Really didn't think I would be approved so soon. This credit union has already won me over!

Truly horrible experience with the mortgage department - I thought a local credit union would be a good choice to work with but this has been miserable. The other day I emailed my agent for an update and he had completely forgotten about my application - like if I hadn't emailed him he would have never gotten back to me. They also can't be bothered to call you with important information, instead you get an email ten minutes before shift end the day before a holiday. Worse than trying to work with Chase, and that's saying something. All this after initially working with another agent that was blatantly rude and dismissive, and requesting a change. Although, to be fair, these two guys apparently sit next to each other, according to my second agent, so maybe there's something else going on there.

***This review is based solely off the contact center experience I encountered*** I called today so that I could have a refund from another company expedited back to my account. I first spoke with a young lady named Bethany she was very rude. At the beginning of the call she asked me to setup security questions and I asked her if we could do it another time because I really just didn’t have time at the moment (I called on my lunch hour). She said that I didn’t have a choice but to add security questions or we couldn’t move on. So I asked her to send me to a supervisor. She then let me know that it’d probably take longer to transfer me to a supervisor than it would to just setup security questions, so it didn’t make sense if I don’t have time. Ok listen here, I didn’t ask you that. I asked you to transfer me. I don’t need all that lip. Eventually she transferred me to another rep who I’m assuming she was friends with because he (Marco) got on the phone a little rude. Like it was premeditated.. anyways he couldn’t help me either unless I setup security questions. And honestly by this time it would’ve been faster to have just setup security questions but to be completely honest this was unacceptable. There are ways for a bank to verify an account holder without security questions. The bank knows more about me than I know about myself!!! Marco ended up transferring me to a supervisor like I asked him to do in the first place. The supervisor verified me fully without security questions.. imagine that. He was super sweet and helpful and he did let me know that eventually I need to setup security questions. I ended up not getting help with what I called about because I was just ready to get off the phone. The supervisor is the only reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1. At the end of the day I was being one of those customers that people hope they don’t run across lol. But, if you’re in customer service you get paid to always provide the customer with excellent service. This is not a field that you can be prideful in, and especially not at a credit union where you’re supposed to be all about the consumer. Submit and understand that I just didn’t have time to setup questions today. Periodt. I enjoy the people at my local branch otherwise I’d close all my accounts with CACU. I've been trying to get a hold of this company and nobody is answering the phone I don't think anybody works at this business and obviously must not be worth working with dealing with.
