I highly recommend Academy Mortgage. They will help you get into your home. I had originally started with another lender (my credit union) and due to issues I was having with my lender a friend who was purchasing a home and was working with Academy Mortgage referred me to them. She really liked them. I contacted Academy Mortgage and they were so fast and helpful. They got me a better loan (USDA) that I was asking for, a better interest rate and lower mortgage payments. They were able to help me close on my home and I only had to push my closing date out 3 days. They were aware of how soon I needed to close. Academy Mortgage only had my information for a little over 2 weeks and I was able to close with no issues. This is one company I can say I highly recommend. They are great at keeping you informed. Even my realtor called me to say how wonderful they were to work with. If you need help with a home loan contact Academy Mortgage it's totally worth the time. Cheri Ure is a liar. Please save yourself from wasted time, frustration, and the feeling of loss. One week till closing on our home and she sends a group email stating "we no longer qualify" to us, our realtor, and the seller. Nothing for us had change since our pre-qualification. This is a review the the academy mortgage in Nampa. They charged us $550 for an appraisal then told us we weren't eligible for a loan anyway. The appraisal value was ridiculous - $40K for a house in Nampa. Appraiser used only forclosure comps to evaluate value - homes that are not in livable condition in other words. So I am stuck with an appraisal that I cannot use for anything and will have to start over with another lender. This is fraud. They told us we were approved then changed their minds but took our money anyway.
