As a Real Estate Agent, there are three things that I insist upon when referring a client to a Home Loan Officer. First, the Home Loan Officer must be responsive. He or she should be available to answer phone calls, text messages or emails. Second, I expect a Loan Officer to know the marketplace of loan products and to be up-to-date on lending regulations. Lastly, I don't think it's too much to ask for a Loan Originator who knows how to put a spin on a football. Dave Merrithew receives high marks in the first two categories. I've never referred a client to Dave who has not qualified for a home loan. All lenders operate under Equal Lending Opportunity laws. Unfortunately, some Loan Officers are less enthusiastic about clients with less-than-perfect-credit or those who are seeking smaller loans. Dave sees every customer as an opportunity and gives each client the best he has. If you can tolerate an A+ Loan Originator with Quarterbacking skillz' that fall within the bell-curve, Dave Merrithew is your guy! :)

I actually used this company because of the loan officer I had worked with several times before. She retired, and I was left with a mortgage company that didn't really care about me. My husband passed away, and I'm in the process of refinancing my mortgage, and I'll finally be able to cash out some of my equity and pay my mortgage online. I have never been able to pay online and I pay most of my bills online. If my original loan officer was available I would consider refinancing with this company, but since she's not available I have to go with a company that allows me to pay onlune.
