Tania is a horrible teller. Had me sit down and waste my time waiting for a service they "dont provide". I spoke to the manager at my credit union they recommended me coming here because it's affiliated with my branch. He told me i could do a wire here no problem. The manager at this branch disagreed with me, and didnt bother helping to find a solution or more information which was lacking on her part. Very poor customer service and misinformed employees and manager. I rather keep my fcu out of state and deal with the hassle rather than opening account with this excuse of a branch.

So I recently went in to get a car loan refinanced, the gentleman greeted me and told me that we could certainly do that. As we are going through my credit which was good, he told me that the total amount of my loan was too much to refinance. he would look into it. Naturally, that concerned me but I accepted it anyways. After 2 weeks, I did not hear anything at all. I called and they told me, "oh yeah, sorry, it was denied because it was too high of an amount to finance. Sorry that no one ever called you back." To be clear, I NEVER POST reviews, EVER. This is the first one I have written. This Credit Union is the worst I have ever dealt with. The customer service is lousy! Don't trust your money with these people. They just DON'T CARE!

There were 8 people behind the counter and none of them helped me for about 15 minutes. I was the only one in line and simply wanted to ask one of them a question. Sure enough they couldn't provide a copy of a check I deposited through them so I wasted my lunch break. I have seen them outright argue with customers in the past so I take it customer service isn't their strong suit. Edit: W. Waters Ave., Tampa, Fl. location. I am a member of a shared branch. I contemplated switching but I prefer keeping my FCU from another state than dealing with these people more than I have to.

I joined Eastern Financial, which was bought out by Space Coast Credit Union, which in turn was bought out by MidFlorida. All in all i been with the same credit union for 20+ years. (in a way) I don't know about other locations, but the Tampa location on Waters has no customer service skills. 20+ minutes in the drive thru with a single car moving, get tired of waiting, go inside (only 2 people in line), takes even longer. One time, fine i can understand that, but every single time. They move so slow, they don't get anything done. Either they all just started that day, or none of them received any training. Forget about the popcorn, shut that machine down, and put that person behind the counter. Time to look for another credit union, because they are only getting worse. I just wish it wasn't such a hassle to switch all my accounts to another credit union.

Toni is the best! Had the worst morning ever to be had because of mid Florida shutting my card off without warning! But Toni stepped right in and saved the day! I will return to this branch as often as I can for great customer service throughout all the employees. Even the African guy in the drive thru is amazing! 10 stars ⭐️!

Worst place ever rude manegment I tried to make a pymt I've 3 time and they didn't wanted to take it then took the car and had to pay 800 to then they tell me I can't get the car back wen they were the one who broke the contract and they rudes people ever met and I will take legal actions due to what they did and then them the lady eating wen she was talking to me like what the heck discusting place horrible place and then they tried refinance the car without even telling me they were refinancing it and ran my credit and everything with out even telling me that that was the reason why I could not get the car back worst place to get a car sorry to all to all the people who have a car with them

Absolute worst customer service I have ever recieved from a company. Couldn't even help me with trying to remove my Force Placed Insurance, and are now charging me an extra $400 a month on my auto loan even though I have my vehicle insured under USAA.

I was shown 0 sympathy after I told y'all my grandmother just passed away and if you could stop the harrassing letters and notes about something I was never communicated about. I was given a "you just have to pay, thanks" and then quickly got hung up. You can all fall of a bulding together for all that matters.

Financed my recent vehicle purchase through Midflorida Credit Union, due to them having the best interest rate at the time of my financing. My previous financiers on other cars provided the availability to pay online via debit/credit card for free or for a nominal charge ($3 or so), Midflorida charges 3% of your payment. In my case more than a $15 charge. What type of financial institution, let alone a credit union, charges those type of fees to make a payment!?

Long waits and unhelpful associates. Jennifer Alvarez, one of the branch assistant managers, was supposed to help me with a loan and told me she'd get in contact with me when she received the status of it. Never got in contact with me, I had to contact her. When discrepancies came up she was extremely unhelpful in resolving them as well as never returning my calls or being there when I called in.

The wait is extremely long all the time inside and the drive thru customer service is terrible. 15 people can’t seem to get it together if you need something from them plan on doing it when your off or have At least an hour to deal with the wait

Mid-Florida credit union is the most miss-managed financial institution I've ever patronized. Too many complaints to list here, but the kicker was when I decided to close my account because of issues . I close the account out only to find out for some reason they didn't close it and then I start incurring fees for low balance. I complained probably current closed it a second time and the same thing happened. They can't even Closen account out properly. Stay away from this bank they are horrible!

As a member for 2 years and a veteran i must say that Midflorida Credit Union is the the best .When i need them them they are always there to meet my needs no matter what they will even return your phone call when the phone lines are full .Open on Saturdays late drive through and that's WHAT A BANK SHOULD BE AND DO!

My experience at this location has been pleasant. Although, I had a large issue and a short timeframe to resolve this issue. The first person I spoke with wasn't able to meet my needs due to common bank restrictions. However, after pressing the issue I spoke with Patricia Reeves(Branch Manager). She was able to work within the bank regulations and took care of my needs and exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

Questionably Honest Reviews

Went in to do a transaction and overheard one of the white tellers ask the only black teller there if it was true that black people dont swim. That's extremely offensive and I dont feel it has a place in today's society. Edit: My wife was handed a receipt with my account balances on it by the teller, and she is not on my account. When I called to speak to the manager, this teller sebastian was trying to rush me off the phone. Very displeased.
