A lady desk representative was very considerate, competent, and helpful to me yesterday. I came here after the Ave. C/East 3rd street branch wasted my time and humiliated me (read my review of THEM!) But this branch was filled w/respectful, polite, helpful staff.

IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED WITH RESPCT AS A CLEINT GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Between the year 2013-2014, I used to be a customer of one of the branches of this bank. This branch was located on 3rd Ave and 14th St Manhattan. When I first came to the location to open an account. I heard a woman telling one of the associates that she was costumer at Citibank and she left because the staff was unprofessional and unethical. The associate of the bank asked her what happened. She responded that staff was gossiping and inquiring on her account without her permission. I was shocked to witness that the staff was doing the exactly the same thing! The staff at this location was Spanic. I couldn't believe what was taking place. They pushed this woman to apply for a credit card when she told them she didn't want to. The staff a the particular time was formed of 4 women among them was an older woman. They surrender this woman like vultures and pushed even harder to obtain her information. Once they had it they ran her information and told her, you will receive the result via mail. Once this poor woman left, they all started talking about her and openly discussing her private information about her credit and her account balance. These individuals acted immorally and unethically. If this woman left Citibank and came in good faith to Capital One, they should have respected her privacy and her wishes. It is, for this reason, I left Capital One. What I saw at this bank particularly at this branch was not only shocking but disgusting. I hope these women are fired!

Went to open a non profit business account and no one seemed to know the process. The woman who did my paperwork told me one thing, I went to another branch and the man there told me something total different. Went back to Westside branch and heard another story because the woman who initially did my paperwork went on lunch. Who really knows what they are doing at these branches? The employees should have the same information so I thought, but that wasn't so. I went back to add a representative and was told the person had to come with 2 forms of ID and then it turned into another long process. I hope someone finds out what the correct procedure is so that these things won't happen in the future. It's not professional when no one seems to know what the process is.

Worst service I have ever experienced at a bank, although I think the main failing is that Capital One isn't a good bank anymore. They refused to cash a treasury bond, even though I have an account with them, and did not explain how I could go about cashing it myself. It turns out I still needed their help to certify my signature, but when I asked them to help with this, they at first refused to help, until I insisted. This experience definitely made me reconsider banking with them, especially given that I had already been to a Capital One Café and visited the branch where the bond had been issued and been told that only a Capital One branch could help. It's nice that Capital One wants to make banking more accessible, but they should be more aware of how confusing this is for their customers and train their staff to be kinder to their customers. And the fact that they don't cash treasuries is just stupid.

This is such a nice place especially the ATM technology they provide to the customers this is the only place they have such nice atms I saw a new branch they opened at 34 st and seven ave those ATM are ugly I guess they are chepear that this at union square.

More coffee shop than bank, which is great if your looking for a place to hang out and drink coffee. Banking here is "ok" not great, hesitated to open a business account here due to size of bank vs size of coffee area. Glad I didn't, as first standard transaction here with a teller caused massive confusion for them, and ended up with my account overdrawn and my check being held up from being deposited. Should have cleared Friday, here it is Saturday and I'm still in the negative. Next time, I'll leave for another branch as soon as they start to get confused!

Very bad experience recently regarding my bank account. Some of the staff members are uneducated regarding rules & regulations of the bank accounts. Staff members are nice but it's frustrating when you waste time to open an account , then find out they can't do it.

Awesome layout for a bank. However the Latina bank manager is VERY rude. After purchasing a 5.00 beverage from Peet's (great staff), I sat down to sip and look at my account through the Capital One App. I opened a small Wholly Guac sample I just received outside when the bank manager rudely came over and loudly said "we don't allow outside food here!" As a customer I did not appreciate her rude manner and tone. It was as if she was scolding a child. Definitely rubbed me the wrong way. Is this how they treat customers????!!!!! Terrible!

Coolest Capital One I've ever been too. Here's why: 1) There's a full Peet's coffee shop inside that gives 50% anything if you use a Capital One card. My hazelnut latte was $2! 2) It's right off of Union Square, a fun place to go in NYC especially when their farmers market is up. 3) It's a full service bank with great customer service. Well done, Capital One!

Awesome space. There are power strips under the communal tables on the first floor as well as a Pete's Coffee shop. The place isClean and well lit. The bank is on the second floor. The ATMs are on the first floor as you walk in. There is a kiosk in the center where you can check in as well as greeters to help direct you to the right person for your banking needs. I hope they open something like this at City Hall.

You can get yourself some food at the whole food on the right or some nice pastries at Maison Kayser on the left then come to your bank charge your phone while watching a movie on free wifi. I do that all the time. Then I get a nice latte at the coffee place inside grab my money and go. No place like it! Stepping in there is like banking in the future. Mostly when you seat upstairs in those sofa! Love my bank!

I love the fact that this Capital One is the only one in the city that closes late. Most of them close at 5:00pm unfortunately. This one closes at 8:00pm! Awesome!

I have only gone to the bank section with my friend and they get her in and outta there quickly. They also have a Peet's coffee in the back on the first floor and the coffees are good! If you have a Capital One card you get any coffee for 1/2 the price. Nice!

I went to this branch of the Capital One on Tuesday to replace a lost card, and I am not happy with how I was treated and how my issue was resolved. At one point, the employee who I was speaking to asked me in an incredibly condescending and rude tone, "How old are you?" because I was not able to immediately answer one of the questions she asked me. I was already pretty distressed because I had lost my wallet, and I did not appreciate how they were treating me without any empathy. Then, several days later, I come to find out that my original card that I lost was not cancelled. Luckily nothing was stolen from my account, but it is incredibly negligent that they did not disconnect the card from my account. I am not happy with the experience I had here and in the future I will use another branch.

Very nice place to relax. It’s nice a cozy. It seems like a place like this will be overly packed, but surprisingly it wasn’t they have plenty of tables and chairs. You can charge your devices in one of the many outlets. If you want to people watch this is also a nice place with a great view to do so.

Don't be fooled by the cheesy redesign of the space and new service oriented-approach. The staff at this branch is incompetent and smug. There's a serious lack of communication or clear instruction. I went into this branch of Capital One after fraud was detected on my debit card. They were unable to issue me a temporary card but confirmed that a new permanent card would be in the mail within 5-7 business days. That was 15 days ago and I still don't have the card. After calling Capital One three times, they were able to determine that this branch never actually issued the new card... During my visit, I needed to take out some cash but the teller was unhelpful and even went out of his way to be rude... don't use this branch in an emergency situation.

Great Brick and Mortar location for Capital One. Attentive and friendly service and feel like a person not a number with this bank. Unlike many local banks that I looked at when I move to the area from out of state Capital One were about service first not fees and restrictions. I would highly recommend going in and talking with Tish (branch manager) or Ketanya (loan and service expeditor) or any of the other wonderful staff.. (Y) (Y) (Y)
