Was not informed about the DAILY rates. Most of the customer service reps are rude and unhelpful. I will NEVER get a loan with them again. Can’t wait to get out of this loan. Don’t waste your time with this company. Paid loan off and had to call for final paperwork indicating paid in full. Again, don't waste your time with this company. Research othet options.

After tonnes of invitations over The mail and through emails I finnaly decided to apply for a loan with Best Egg. My credit is "good " as well as good income...and they right away got me excited with their approval strategy. The original offer and almost "immediate" approval were missleading and in the end after they found so many losses (including taxes, depreciation ect) and because tax returns are filed jointly split my personal income by a hlaf...and after that declined me all together.. They are using some very strange income formula...and btw watch out for high fees...

I found Best Egg via Credit Karma (another 5 star service...); the pre-approval process was straight forward as I was asked several financial questions and was approved immediately. What the 1 star reviews (tire kickers really...) on here forget to mention is that the terms of the loan are up to the borrower; in my case the payback period offered was anywhere from 2 to 5 years - your interest rate depends on how long you choose to pay back your loan, I chose the shortest period possible thus my interest rate is actually pretty good. For people in the process of building or rebuilding their credit and are serious about it Best Egg may be a good option as opposed to conventional lenders.

To be honest I'm still in shock! Downright disbelief at how seamless this whole process has been. I have been looking for a solution to consolidate my numerous credit card debts in an effort to have one centralized payment process for managing my debt. Its not like I couldn't afford to pay off my debt because I make good money, in the six figures, it just became a major hassle managing the many different credit cards at the end of each month. I have asked banks and researched other credit card solutions but they all either wanted you to have a score of above 700 or approved you for a loan lower than one of your credit cards. BestEgg came through with a loan that allowed me to cover all five of my credit card debts which I immediately paid off in full. I now have NO credit card debt and one consolidated payment location with a competitive rate compared to what I had to deal with. The approval process took all about one hour from the time I submitted the request to the time I was approved and waiting for my loan to be transferred to my bank account. I am beyond thankful to BestEgg for coming through for me and allowing me to press that reset button on my life. This whole experience has been nothing but a complete blessing to me. BEWARE!!! Since I continued to receive mail from Best Egg stating "You're Pre-Approvedto get upt to $50,000 in as little as 24 hours." after months, I decided to give it a try. Although I was provided an offer code, I was still required to enter personal info including my SS#, salary, work phone #, yrs on the job, etc. then I was offered only $7,000 at double digit interest rate which was higher than my credit card rates. They'll probably sell my personal info. or WORSE. I guess I'll evenually find out.

This was my 2nd loan through Best Egg. In both cases, minimal documentation (voided check) was requested. In both cases, the funds were deposited to my account 3 days after application. The interest rates were comparable to my local bank. If you don't like to "beg" and provide in depth explanations regarding funds requested, this is the place to go. In both of my loans, I was offered more than requested.

It felt so good to pay off our credit card debt and now know our interest rate with be a set 5.32%- which is amazing! I have a great credit score of a 758 they denied me, and didn't even tell me the reason. Now I have to worry about still trying to be able to pay off these student loans after they told me, I was approved at first. I submitted all of the necessary documents, and after the final review they denied me. They got all of my hopes up only to tell me no. Now what do I suppose to do? They pulled my credit with all 3 credit bureaus and had me thinking it was worth it. Like why tell me yes then tell me no, and not give me a reason. This company is not who they claim to be, and they had no reason to mislead me like that.

The only two things I'd watch out for is the initiation fee which was pretty high for me, and if you don't sign up for the auto pay, they charge you $7 per payment, at least in my particular situation.

After receiving a letter saying I was pre-approved for a loan, I applied on line. Filled out all the pertinent information. The second I hit the "submit" button, I was denied. This puzzled me as I make over 160K and have a 702 credit rating. I had to wait till Monday to call them. When I did I asked the customer service rep why I was instantly denied. She said that based on the information, they felt I wouldn't be a good candidate to pay back the loan. So I explained to her the mailer offered to consolidate credit card debt, which would reduce what I pay out every month. Her reply was the same, I was a risk. I broke it down to numbers. If I have $50,000 in credit card debt, that Is ALWAYS paid on time, how could I be a risk if I consolidate that money with a smaller interest rate to one payment. Her answer again was the same. So I added, If I have one payment, that is hundreds of dollars less then what I'm paying ON TIME now, how could I be a risk. I feel this exhausted her because her final answer was, "the computer makes the decision". She didn't do anything wrong and I thanked her for her time. Best Egg may have good intentions but the system they use is greatly flawed.

I was thrilled to get this loan so quickly until I realized, although my interest rate was much better than the credit cards I wanted to pay off. I fooled myself not realizing theit daily interest rate added up to quite a bit by the end if the month. In my case $68.57 as an addition to the 11.64% rate I was quoted. In reality I wasn't saving much, if any at all and I didn't get cash back perks or any of that. Since opening this account I've applied for a loan from my own bank with much better int. Rate and Zero daily int. The problem, I needed pay off balance so I called Best Egg. I was told it would take 3 to 4 business days to FAX the payoff amount (all the while collecting all their crazy interest amount at my expense). They are not helpful at all. In less than 3 months they've already tapped me for over $550. in interest alone. You might think they'd be satisfied making such a profit but NO, they wanted to stretch it out by taking 3 (business) days which would really be 5 more days (I called on Friday) to send a lousy FAX with my payoff amount. Just ridiculous! ! Will never get a loan with them again. I should've known when I read some bad reviews myself. Also, you cannot access your own statement online. This is all my bank really needed, I even asked when I called B.E. and they also said I couldn't but had the option of a paper statement. This is something they should have said upfront since the option is there to view on the account site but not able to view it. I'm so glad I'm getting out of this loan. Grrrrrrrr never again

Waste of time. Was trying to pay off old credit card with an intetest rate of 14.99%. They bait you with the 4.9% and came back back with the same rate of 14.99% after doing a hard pull on your credit. I was aware of the hard pull (fine print), but my credit score is around 750. I bought my car with 0% financing, nothing bad on my report. I pull it every year from the bureaus.

I decided to use Best Egg after a mailer and checking their reviews. So the process is fairly simple and pretty quick and easy and yes they deposit the money in your bank account pretty fast. Now here's the catch, there's a big fee for the loan and the interest is high even if you have good credit. I did the loan because I happened to remember the mailer and was on vacation out of town and figured that if it was easy as it looks then why not. Let's get to the second part of this loan, if you are 3 days past the due date, they charge you 50 bucks, yup 50 smackeroos. Plus on day 4 they start blowing up your phone and email asking for the payment. Enough is enough, as soon as I get back into town, I am heading to the bank to get this loan paid off and be rid of this crazy company called Best Egg because this Egg is definitely rotten. I guess if you have bad credit and this is all that you can work with that it would be okay but if you have a credit score over 700 I would stay as far away from them as you can. Just an update, I had the loan for a year and still owed more than I borrowed. Went to my bank and got a signature loan to pay off this and 15K more and my payment was 15 dollars more but 2 years less payments.

Dead-simple all-online application process (never needed to speak with a person). No tricks with approvals - you are approved for what they say you are. Interest rates are very fair for unsecured personal loans. Some may argue the origination fee is high but, again, it seemed fair to me. I completed the application on a Saturday, got confirmation of approval on Monday and the money was in my checking account Tuesday. Communication via email throughout the process was excellent.

I've never heard of a financial service, who does not answer phones. The only phone system they have, literally waits 30 secs and hangs up phone. Also there is no email on the site or in your portal to send messages. This was a bad idea to go to them for a personal loan.

I received several pre approve mailers from others but, this one mailer caught my attention. I researched made comparisons and for some reason...destiny...of course I finished the easy application, was approved for what I asked for and was advised of an origination fee which took away from what I asked for....but my representative understood...raised my loan amount to cover their fees allowing me to have exactly what I needed. This company Is only Interested In you If you have good credit,they denied me because I had too much credit card debt,hence Is the reason I contacted them to begin with Iwas able to get a loan at a different lender.2 weeks after the other lender funded the,money Into my account so I could pay down my credit cards,Best Egg sends me an approval letter for up to $50000.00 But their system Is set up so If you been denied by them their automated system pulls up you Information and automatically hangs up,and It does this for every call,because you are already In there system.So what happened Is thus Best Egg denies me they see that I was approved through another company for more than what they qualified me for,and now they want to help me,but because their system Is set up for It to hang up on all their denials,so good luck unless you have excellent credit,and not too many credit cards you may get a loan approval with them.or a,good paying job,and not too many debtors you owe you might get a loan with them.

I applied for a loan on a Weds and the money was deposited by Friday. The rates and terms are very reasonable considering it is an unsecured personal loan. First off, I received a pre-approved offer for 4.99% up to $40K loan (different payment terms). So I called Best Egg who ran a soft credit pull 3 at that point they quoted three different loan / APR combinations. *red flag* The lowest APR was 11.99. Why I am qualified for the offer I was pre-approved for, and when they pull my credit it's different? My FICO score is almost a 800 better than your average credit score. My salary is in the top 1% 3 out of a lot of consumers. My debt to income and debt to value ratios are considered excellent. They told me I didn't qualify after doing a hard pull on my credit, taking 2 weeks to get a response, and gave me a interest rate if I was approved of 23.99%. Plain rip off! I think this is a bate-and-switch scam that should be stopped. No thanks

It was so easy to get this loan I thought it was a scam. I filled out a form, sent a w-2 and a paystub and got approved for even more than I needed deposited 2 days later!!. I tried all the other loan places and they were calling me, spamming me, asking for every document. Avant kept calling every day asking for another document and then said my employer had to verify my employment. OneMain wanted the title to my car and asked 100 questions and then said, "well we can't offer you that much, but how about this much at 36% apr and if you miss a payment we take your car". No thanks. Thanks New Egg for overlooking my past credit problems and giving me a loan with a decent rate.

If I could give this company one star I would. I applied for a loan and was told that I needed to provide additional documents for approval. I supplied documentation and was told that after they’re reviewed I would receive an approval and a welcome email. I submit the document and wait. I don’t receive a call back so I called and was told that they aren’t able to verify my documents. I asked how that could be and received no explanation or apology. I even asked if I could send additional documents. Nothing. Stay away from this company!!!!!

This was one of the worst loan experiences I have ever had. I get "pre-approval" mail and email constantly. I even had a previous best egg loan that I paid off early. I applied for another loan and was asked for some additional information. I provided it and never heard anything. I called back a week later and was asked for additional information. I have business income in addition to W-2 income. After 5 or 6 phone calls and hours of being on hold. They asked for business tax returns, personal tax returns, tons of stuff. I provided everything. Another week with no response, no calls, no communication. I called again. Every time I have to explain the same thing and wait while they put me on hold. I am on hold now as I write this. Unless you have straight forward W-2 income, don't bother with Best Egg.
